I stayed here for a week on business. This hotel has excellent service from reception to housekeeping to room service. The room that I got was spacious and very quiet - great for a good night's sleep. The hotel has a very good spa and wellness centre. The food is high quality mainstream fare. Not particularly creative though, and no plant-based main dishes.

I had a good time, the ambience and serenity was amazing. Good customer service and there are so many nice locations to take pictures. We also enjoyed the buffet at the restaurant. The pool was nice, but I’d suggest that there’s a bar there with nice music. I also enjoyed the massage at the spa.

If I samori keita from Guinea Bissau was about to share the experience here in Nordic Hotel I would say that the Nordic Hotel has adequate security, the entrance controls are conducted 100%, the reception of staff attends to guest in a timely manner, the service staff is very courteous with us guests, the meals are very special, the bartenders are efficient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the there is internet throughout the space. Riviera Hotel provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, which made me feel right at home. The environment was clean, the rooms were big and comfortable, and the bed gave off a homely feeling. Best of all, I didn't have to look far and wide for good food because the fine dining restaurant, Oceans5, is located right beside the hotel.

MmcpoThe following are real pictures and videos I took when I checked into the hotel that day. I checked into room 202 that day. Hotel location: Lagos is easily accessible. Hotel facilities: Take a look at the pictures for yourself, they were taken on the day of check-in. Looking at the pictures of bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: see pictures for yourself. Bathroom: Dry and wet are separated. Breakfast: See the picture for yourself, it is not a buffet. Yam is a staple food in Nigeria. It is impossible to eat more than one piece even if you come from far away. The room I booked is for 2 breakfasts, so the restaurant waiters are not trained, so I don’t plan to extend my stay. Hotel front desk staff: I personally feel that they are very service-minded and quite careless during their stay. The hotel pictures match the actual room pictures.

However, for supposedly one of the best hotels in Lagos, there are no activities or restaurants on site.
There’s a nice little bar on the 5th floor but apart from that you’ll have to eat at the hotels buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet needs serious upgrade to pay $25 dollars there is a lack of choice.
The coffee shop at the lobby sucks because there’s no barista or at-least some that knows how to make good coffee instead any staff that’s available on I’ll make your coffee when you order.
Apart from that the hotel is very clean for Lagos hotel standards.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Blowfish hotel on 13th January 2022. It was advertised as a four star hotel. The signing in was uncomplicated and the reception staff were helpful and efficient. I booked a deluxe room and was taken there. The room was good - neat, tidy and spacious. The air conditioner worked. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a bath in the accommodation as well as a shower. So given all of that why does it only merit a rating of 3? Well, because when you book a four star hotel you don't just expect accommodation of good quality - you also expect a four star hotel to have an eye for and an attention to detail. This was sadly lacking. Firstly, having stayed in hotels in different locations of different quality for the past 40 years, this is the first time I have stayed in a room which did not have a single clothes hanger. Secondly, I'm a tea drinker. The only drinks provided were sachets of coffee and green mint tea (yuk!) so I went and bought some regular black tea. Thirdly, as the bath is also a shower, there is a fixed panel half the length of the bath which prevents easy access to the taps and means unless you have very long arms, you can't put the bath plug in or turn on the water without getting into the bath - a tense moment as you wait to see whether you have guessed right and the water comes out of the faucet or the shower head. Luckily, I got it right. Fourthly, they tell you on arrival that there is room service and vaguely tell you where breakfast will be served but there's no information pack or room service in the room. This would be helpful and would probably generate more room service revenue. The breakfast was just ok although the card you are given on arrival says breakfast is served from 6am - it's not,,, its 7am. The girls at reception did mention this to me but maybe it should also be reflected on the room key card to avoid any confusion. Finally, the TV was a waste of time. I think there were five or six channels available and three of these had a 'fuzzy' picture. Really? A four star hotel? So. all in all a nice place, good accommodation, nice service but the devil is in the detail. For many people these issues will be a minor distraction. To me the difference between lower and higher quality hotels is attention to that kind of detail. Little things mean a lot. Good but must do better!!

DDANDANThe reason why the general evaluation is given is because the cost performance is very low.
The hotel seems to have only 6 floors and the elevator only shows up to the 6th floor.
I booked a sea-view room at 1498RMB, and arrived at the shop in advance to arrange a higher floor at the front desk. Say we need to arrange the 5th floor, tell us to wait for 40 minutes, the room is being cleaned, and waited more than an hour, said that the room is full, can only be arranged on the 3rd floor. Looking out of the window, it is the scene in Figure 1. It is said that a good seascape is a bunch of pipes. The facilities in the room are also sorry for the five-star title, the moldy roof, the bathroom was rude, and there was no hair dryer. The lobby is okay, the pool is large and the green environment is ok. Probably the best environment in this city. However, it is open to the public, not for the private use of hotel customers. Seeing two foreigners paying 5,000 naira can enter the pool and share public facilities. There are dining points on the first and negative floors of the hotel. I ordered a salmon and steak (pictured) 30,000 naira (580rmb). The taste is acceptable, but the salmon is definitely not fresh. Ordered early, the last picture is breakfast. I usually book early with a regular trip, it's normal, and the price is not high. Those who like the environment can spend about 50rmb / person for a walk.

ALL STAFF DEPARTMENTS SHOWED/ENABLED TEAM WORK accountability-which is rare ESPECIALLY for a chain(that'z evidence of TOP NOTCH professionalism). food was decent, room service is 24 hrs and there's a variety of cultural dishes from all ova the world. pool side is cool, there's also a cabana for those who wish to get cozzzziiieeee. also sitting area just for talking, sceenery, business/whateva. the rooms were decent size for the price and heart of the location. there are many entries within walking distance, local atms/bank branches along side. THEY DO NOT HAVE A ATM on site. above average on fridge in the rooms-you won't disappointed very sheek and above average on television size AND BRAND{trust me on this one, i am a travel nurse i have traveled MUCH}. from my experience all their rooms seem to have a sitting area within it-not usual for most hotels just anotha added benefit when lodgin with victoria crown on victoria lsland in lagos. the tubs are VERY deep-which is romantic and suffice for those looking to add to the moment OR just a great tub bath. BUT not very age friendly though, for the kiddies not safe for the disabled/matured/seniors/elderly a huge precaution/fright. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL when getting out. not even a grab bar is present. all marble and glass. VERY VERY nice restroom and set up though. very update, with crown molding and all its extras. laundry service is great prompt on return and honest. NOT LIKE THE SHEARTON 4 POINT: all MY CLOTH returned bacc to me.......hhhmm. wifi connection wasn't that great. channel selection was fair. there is a bar and restaurant on site as well. my expereince with the gatemen the duration of my stay while going in and out was just as pleasant and professional as well. front desk staff presented very neat in uniform, spoke clearly and each were considered anytime we had a question on destination we wish to go, service they offered or in idea of what to eat. there is also a gym. there were children present NONE of which were in age to make inappropiate noises said to mention we had good nite sleep NO LOUD NOISES any of the dates at various times of the day, noon nite or weekend we were present-WHICH IS GOOD lol thank you again cynthia for makin our weekend GREAT EMPLOYEE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. take care. stephen and bola egedegbe
