Best Monnickendam Hotels

In terms of location, this hotel is 15 to 20 minutes away from the EBS bus station, which is not close, and it is not in a tourist area, which can be daunting. Well situated hotel along the main tourist stretch, breakfast is well worth it though the day I visited they were a bit overwhelmed with a big event so service was a little stretched. Room is spacious but basic, the bathroom is quite small and when you use the shower there isn't good water capture so the whole place gets rather wet

Seamless check in was easy with password provided way before check in. Check out was easy as it will be done automatically on check out day.

When I checked in, the owner kindly explained how to use the hostel. There is a free hair dryer in the bath, and there are about five of them, which is convenient. There is a locker room that you can use for free. The owner also kindly explains how to set the PIN code. The rooms have curtains to ensure privacy. You can hear noise, but if you use earplugs or earphones, it's not a problem. It is a little far from Amsterdam Central Station, but I think it's a good idea to plan to arrive early and check what time the train is. I left late and had trouble with the few trains. If you use the bus, I don't think you need to worry about this. Overall, it was a great stay.

Clean room and exceptional services provided! Convenient location as it's only 3 stops away from Amsterdam Central, there's even a bus interchange outside the hotel! Super convenient to get to the city area as the metro station is just right outside the hotel too. Would recommend to stay here if you want somewhere quieter but yet convenient to get to the city.

If you get a GVB unlimited ride (metro, bus, tram, ferry) ticket, a bus will come every 5 minutes from the bus stop, which is a 2-minute walk away. 1 stop, door to door, and you will arrive in about 20 minutes. There is also convenient access to Schiphol Airport via South Station. Transportation convenience is very good.
