Best Uddel Hotels

Op vrijdagmiddag 6 september 2024 arriveerde ik samen met een vriendin bij Mennorode voor een ontspannen weekendje weg. We werden warm verwelkomd en de incheck verliep snel en soepel. Vervolgens genoten we van een heerlijk drankje op het zonnige terras. De avond bracht ons een voortreffelijk culinair 4-gangendiner met een mooi bijpassend wijnarrangement, zorgvuldig samengesteld door Daniel. Wat ons tijdens het hele verblijf opviel, was de buitengewone vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel. Zowel de binnenruimtes als de buitenfaciliteiten van Mennorode zijn uitstekend onderhouden en alles was schoon en fris. Complimenten aan het hele team! Onze (eerste) ervaring in een glampingtent overtrof onze verwachtingen. De tent was ruim en comfortabel, met een charmante overdekte veranda waar we ’s ochtends genoten van een rijk gevulde ontbijtmand die tot aan de tent werd bezorgd. Het ontbijtbuffet in het restaurant zag er overigens ook verrukkelijk uit. Daarnaast was de tent uitgerust met een handig koelkastje en de bedden boden een goed slaapcomfort. Op zaterdag gingen we op pad met de elektrische fietsen van Mennorode en volgden een schitterende route van 40 kilometer door de bosrijke omgeving. Zondag sloten we ons ontspannen weekend af met een bezoek aan een nabijgelegen saunacomplex. Mennorode is wat mij betreft een aanrader voor een weekendje weg, maar biedt ook volop mogelijkheden voor bijvoorbeeld grote zakelijke evenementen. Het is een locatie die alles in huis heeft voor een geslaagd verblijf.

A super stay had! All was thick, from reception to check-out. Friendly and professional staff, fantastic food and drink, good bed and bathroom. A place to come back certainly even more often! If there is a point of improvement to be mentioned, this is more typical of Dutch than the world alone: put a bottle of crane water on the table at the entrance to the restaurant, instead of asking for gold for small bottles of water. It increases hospitality and will certainly be compensated by ordering an additional consumption.

Very good experience

Prima hotel, zeer gastvrij, heerlijke keuken, goede bedden, op een mooie en super rustige omgeving. Kamers zijn ietwat gedateerd, geen airco, maar voldoen nog prima voor een aantal dagen genieten op de Veluwe. Wij komen zeker weer eens terug.

The hotel was very quiet. Beautifully located in the forest, with the dog we walked into the forest without having to get the car first. We understand that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and found the Grand Café a very good alternative. We could have breakfast here and enjoy dinner 3-gangen. Some feedback is that we would have liked to prefer a room, the map in the Grand Café is limited (a beautiful citizen or a piece of frites would not miss) and the coffee facilities in the room were disturbed. If you offer coffee facilities in the room like Bilderberg, a water cooker with solvent coffee is a farce.

I had a single room. Probably the room with the least favourable. :-( It was a problem to enter the room because the door must first be turned over the box before there is room to enter. The hotel has a fixed floor cover. I don't think this is hygienic anyway. There were several doubtful points in the tape. I didn't like to walk on bare feet through the room. The night box stood behind the bed, and the wall, against which the bed stood, was with a screw, and you could lose something. The night the light was difficult, because the lamp was behind the bed.
