The price is average compared to what you get, but considering this is a remote place and not a city, it is a bit expensive, though. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet, which is one of the best ones I have experienced in a 3-star hotel. This breakfast surely could be served in a 4 -or 5-star hotel. The food in the restaurant (evenings) is good, above average, and certainly much better than the other restaurants in Flå. Friendly staff both in the reception and restaurant. As this is a place with many families/kids, be aware that it could be a bit noisy, especially during the breakfast. This is the best/nearest place for accomodation when visiting Bjørneparken, and the hotel and Bjørneparken offer -15% if you order both accomodation and a visit to Bjørneparken through their website (Thon Hotels). Most families spend 1-2 days in the area, and it is possible to buy a Day 2 ticket to Bjørneparken for -50% of what they normally charge.
