Arrived an hour early but wasnt a problem to host who was really lovely and friendly. These motels are old!! But are some of the cleanest ive ever stayed in, your staff are a credit to you!! We had a unit overlooking golf course so quite entertaining at times, and very peaceful, also having outdoor furniture to sit outside and eat and drink, fabulous big well looked after grounds here Bed was really comfy and great for bikers as you can pop your bike in their locked up garage. Shower was good also they supplied shampoo and body wash Everything was in the room that was needed, but just wondering if they may update in the future and a heated towel would be great, especially in winter, thanks for having us.
Great establishment, provide real milk upon check in, I had room 8, stayed 3 nights, great views, large immaculate room, all mod cons, sliding door opens straight onto greenway, quiet. Parking at door. well impressed, looking at riding around NZ again next summer and if Ido will definitely stay here yet again
Upon our arrival we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very tidy, well equipped, modern and warm. We faced out to a large shared garden space which had BBQ facilities. The complex was very quiet. We will stay here again next time we are in Cromwell.

We based ourselves at the Colonial Manor for three nights so we could look around Wanaka, Queenstown, and Arrowtown. It was the best accommodation we booked over our ten-day holiday. Andy, who met us at reception, and Cheryl, are so friendly and welcoming. Our suite was warm and comfortable to come back to after day trips to see the sights and had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfortable. The Colonial Manor Motel is close to all the amenities you need: supermarkets, restaurants, a shopping mall and a swimming pool. We will definitely stay again and for longer. Highly recommend.
So happy I chose to stay at the Central Gateway Motel at close proximity to the Heritage precinct with a couple of cafes and restaurants and a supermarket close by. I had a very peaceful stay and I had a very spacious room with all the amenities I needed. My room was in the main building on the second floor overlooking the mountains (from my bed!). I was taking a bus from Cromwell and received a very kind offer from the host to drop me at the bus stop (~3km away) as she was going to run some errands in the town. Really appreciated this - especially as it started raining the moment we stepped into her car. Would have loved to stay longer - next time then!
Just stayed again at the Assure in Cromwell nz and what a fantastic place to stay, you are greeted by Craig & Gaylene and they make you feel right at home. The rooms are immaculately presented and well set out for short stays or longer stays plus the grounds are again immaculate, the location is awesome and easy walking distance to town for all bars and restaurants ๐. Thanks guys and looking forward to staying with you guys again in the near future.

Hmmm letโs start with the positives, The views from the room spectacular, the ducks on the lake the serenity of the surroundings. Clear crisp water, sounds of the birds chirping in the willows surrounding the banks. Beautiful views The room is entered was a surprise, very warm in the room on the first day of autumn. It had all the amenities that you need for a one night stay, could use with a wee bit of an update for price, but the location is on point Air conditioning did not work in our room, after ringing reception several times on my own personal cell phone we were greeted by a restaurant manager, and bought us over a fan as the room was unbelievably warm and uncomfortable. The man tried to work the air conditioning unit himself to know avail. All in all, the hotel was nothing to rave about. To reflect the price of this day I would expect working air conditioning unit, couch in the room to relax on, and a water blast on the deck would not hurt. Was nice to try but probably wouldnโt stay here again.
