Just only the water tap is separate hot and cold , it not convenience in cold weather.

The aunt at the front desk press the doorbell to come out to check in, fill in the personal information, check in without anything, give the key directly and bring it to the room, and give a bottle of milk
The car parked at the door of his room, all rooms on the first floor. The room is not small, with a small living room and kitchen, bath products, hair dryer, kettle, microwave oven, stove, towels, no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush
The room is clean and has a heater. The town is not big, a few hundred meters away are restaurants, shops, and gas stations, but there are not many people.
The hotel does not include breakfast. I will leave after eating bread and check out at 10 o’clock on time. I just pass by here as a break

It’s one of the best living experiences that we have made in New Zealand and the owner was really nice for having everything ready for us even we arrived late at night. It was so sweet of him that he turned on the heater before arrival as it was so freezing that night and offered us some cookies. Highly recommend it!!!

The room is newly renovated. It tastes great, especially in the afternoon sun, but when we check in, we upgraded the suite. The Gerard is the big countryside, there is no nearby, and it takes about three or five minutes to drive to the center of the town. It is convenient to pass a temporary stay for one night.

Room was spacious and clean. We weren’t however impressed with the check in “surprise” comments on bringing my 3 year old, while the booking clearly stated we had booked for 2 adults and a child. Place was marketed suitable for families but we did not feel welcomed as such, and as foreigners
That being said the room itself was good, noise from the very busy street right by the windows was extremely noisy with the pass g trucks through the night.
