"I recently stayed at Haka House Mount Cook and overall, it was a good experience. The location is good with easy access to nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, helped me solve a double payment issue. However, the noise insulation could be improved. It was easy to hear sounds from outside, which was a bit disruptive at times. Despite this, the comfort and atmosphere made up for it. If you're planning a visit, consider bringing earplugs for a more restful sleep."

"This location is really super good, you get the view and from my bed, I could see the mountains! Reception has some snacks to purchase if you need too. The bed is also comfortable. Has an induction cooker top, nepresso machine, toaster and microwave. Toilet was also clean."

"We booked a hotel at short notice. It was almost 22:00 when we arrived at Mount Cook. The front desk was already off work, so we left an envelope and keys. The facilities are just a motel, nothing special. It's okay if you just stay for one night. I took photos of the Milky Way at night. The next day we went to stay at the Hermitage. Of course, if it has facilities, we would recommend the Hermitage next door."
