In the heart of the downtown city close to the action if you like to go out in the evening. We missed the airco as it was warm on our room. We had nice view on the church next to the hotel

Well situated,staff are polite and helpful. Comfy beds with a T.V to watch toilets and showers very clean......... highly recommend.

Nz motel. The room is clean, one floor room has a direct door to the parking lot, self-driving tour is very convenient, close to the airport, occasionally can hear the plane taking off and landing

We were 3 adults + 1 child (10) in a family room with view to the street and we liked it very much. The room was clean and spacious with a small kitchen, which we however didn't use as we had breakfast included in the price. The breakfast was a fantastic buffet with everything that one could ask for. All in all we had a fantastic stay!

O M G. The staff are so lovely, the room was perfect for our overnight stay. The ladies at the front desk were super busy when we checked in but still managed a smile for everyone. The bussiness however meant that we weren't told about the charge for parking. We were happy to pay because secure overnight parking is hard to come by, but it was a surprise when the gentleman checking us out advised of it. (It does say about the charge on the back of the paper that goes in your car windscreen, however after being mucked around by our initial hotel, we were in too much of a rush to get sorted for the concert we were attending that we didn't even think to read it)

There is no chair in the basic room! The room is also very small! One more thing, the wind in Wellington is particularly strong. We live on the top floor and obviously feel the house shaking at night ~~ Cowards probably can't sleep But the location is very good, next to the city center, the airport bus station is also nearby, and there is an Asian supermarket opposite the Korean one.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, next to the Parliament Building, not far from the ferry, the room is spacious and clean, with kitchen facilities similar to an apartment, very suitable for family travel. The breakfast has fewer types than Hilton, but the quality is okay, 35nzd is half price for a child (my family is 3 and a half years old), and the hotel helps with parking for 40nzd, which is still very convenient. After all, the hotels in Wellington are basically not easy to park, after all, the city center is very expensive. The view from the room is good, there is a green area outside the window, which is the local cemetery (the locals don't mind these, it's very similar to Japan), and I personally don't think it matters, after all, the environment is very good.

This was the greatest hotel I have ever stayed in. I'm over 'same same' hotels and marvelled at the grandness of the Wellesley. Of course, you can get 'grand' at lots of places but none have the class, history and location of this place. It was especially enjoyable because I am a Kiwi and value the heritage but I also loved the elegance of the staircase, opulent drapes, the timeless oak panelling, the well-placed wingback chairs, the high ceilings and ornamental plasterwork. On top of this, the hotel is right in the middle of the city, has a (welcome after a cold day) bath and possibly the whitest, fluffiest towels in the history of towels. It was quiet with a marvellously comfortable bed (with chocolates on the pillows no less). The staff were gracious and clearly have high expectations of cleanliness as it was spotless.

The environment and room type internal facilities are average. 5 minutes walk from Cuba Street, convenient for shopping and eating. 20 minutes walk from the downtown area and 30 minutes walk from the beach.
