This hotel has beautiful grounds but is very remote. As a result you have no choice but to stay at the hotel for meals. The food is good. The rate included a buffet breakfast that had sufficient variety for my 2 days. The pizza place was also good. My room was booked as a single and I was “upgraded” to a quad with a small balcony. I was told that the room rate did not include coffee or tea sachets and that if I wanted coffee I would have to leave my room to get some at the cafe. . I cannot get my head around that since the cost for the little packets of coffee is quite minimal. The room upgrade also did not have a bathtub. Perhaps the worst part of my stay was that the room became quite hot and stuffy. There is no air con and so the only thing to do is to open the window. These windows do not have a lock and although I was on the second floor I did not feel safe sleeping with the window wide open. The possibility of the ever present flies joining me was not pleasant. This also required opening the curtains so that hotel lights shone in. A fan was provided on my second night and that was better. The room was clean. The shower was good but you can slip and hurt yourself if not careful because the floor tiles in the shower become dangerously slippery when wet. Other reviews have been more positive than mine. The place is beautiful, the staff are very professional but the lack of central cooling, failure to provide minimal coffee and tea sachets, the lack of an expected bathtub and remoteness of the hotel dampen my enthusiasm considerably.

Тихое и комфортное место посреди гор, на территории пасутся альпаки, вид шикарный. Нас встретили гостеприимные хозяева Сильвия и Льюис, всегда готовы были помочь, несмотря на наши сложности с испанским языком. Вечером для гостей разожгли костер, а утром нас ждал прекрасный завтрак. Днем мы ходили вместе с Льюсом в трекинг и он нам показывал интересные места, много рассказывал про горы, Долину и историю инков. Номера, большие, чистые и новые! Очень комфортный отель, всем рекомендую, Вы получите огромное удовольствие! Привет большой Сильвии и Льюису. Нам все таки благоволила удача и мы попали после отъезда на Мачу Пикчу!

This Hotel on the outskirts of Urubamba has beautiful grounds and landscape. The rooms are outdated and the mattress is very hard like a board. Rooms don't have a/c units but they do have a small refrigerator and portable heater. The other negative is that are kind of obligated to eat at there restaurants because there is absolutely nothing near by. Prices in restaurants are pricey. Make sure to buy water bottles before arriving to hotel because the overpriced the water bottles also
