Great hotel. Down side.. Bathroom leaks on the floor. ..Had to walk in an alley going to the hotel lobby.. Up side. Nice gym.. Buffet breakfast not overwhelming and good enough choices

The hotel itself is good, the rooms are comfortable, everything is there, even bathrobes. I liked the pool, there is a small slide for children. The breakfast is delicious, varied, there is plenty to choose from, the service is also excellent 👍 But the hotel is only suitable for those who are vacationing on the territory or planning water excursions, as there is a panton with boats and boats right opposite the hotel. There are no sunbeds from the hotel on the beach, and there is no security; you can leave things only at your own risk, or give them to the security at the restaurant. Swimming in the sea opposite the hotel is not a good idea, because boats are constantly going over your heads.

The location is great, S1 beach. The hotel is not big and the swimming pool is very small. The room is quite large, but it does not face the sea. The balcony window faces the hotel path. Those on low floors need to pay attention to privacy. Breakfast was mediocre. The service is great, especially the free airport drop-off from check-out to Cadillac Airport.

Overall Stay: 8/10 Location: Incredible. It is strategically located at the center of Station 2 (DMall Area). Right outside the lobby frontdoor, you will be welcome with all the nearby restaurants, cafés and shops. Entertainment within the property: Excellent. During our 3-night stay, there was an acoustic band playing at the La Plaza. We loved their peruvian chicken skewers. Lobby staff: Average. This resort is a busy one. Many guests coming in and out, every day. So probably the reason at most times not all staff are friendly/welcoming. Even in quiet hours like early afternoon, you will not hear any greetings of that sort. Room: Superb! It was spacious, cozy and comfortable linens and bed. Housekeeping: Don't forget to switch on the 'for housekeeping' button at the right side of the door. We are amazed how the cleaning staff met our expectation because they not only clean the room but go beyond arranging toiletries and clutter. Downs: 1. No detachable hangers at closet. So we have to maximize hanging at the tub to dry out or clothes. 2. No rack as well where could conveniently hang and airdy wet clothes after soaking at the beach. 3. Could be crowded. Overall comment: Would recommend this place to family and friends who wants to maximize their short-stay in Boracay.

Great Place great location, shoutout to Primo who really took care of every details, he went all the way to make our stay pleasant and appreciate the effort of all staff respectively,Even tho the property is dated but the effort of team makes up for all shortcomings.only one thing which I was not happy with was breakfast which was provided by their partner restaurant! The Muse team you guys need to look at the common issues comes up on reviews and address them. Will come back again. Till then please keep doing what you do and address common issues

Perfect place. My last paradise. Everything is perfect; foods, rooms, amenities, pools, beach, program, staff, weather, services and etc. Love it love it love it

Food was excellent; buffet had great variety. The hotel has very polite staff who were receptive to feedback. Special recognition to Jy, Marv, JP, Jean, Marcy, JR, Edel, Eena, Brian, Butch and Sheryl for going above and beyond -always with a smile. Though the facilities were on the small side and equipment a bit dated, the customer service and location were great.

Très bel hôtel situé à la station 1 sur la White Beach un peu à l’écart de l’agitation du centre ville (proche de la plage Diniwid) Tout d’abord je tiens à préciser que j’ai rajouté une 4ème étoile au commentaire uniquement grâce à l’accueil du personnel (notamment l’accueil de la jeune femme ayant réalisé avec nous le check in et Check out) et à la qualité du breakfast. Pour les points positifs : - Très belle vue depuis les chambres - Bâtiment moderne - Accueil et professionnalisme du personnel - Très bon breakfast et restaurant - Localisation - Piscine à débordement Les points à améliorer : - Wifi très instable, c’est un peu limite pour un 5 étoiles étant donné le prix des chambres (400 euros la nuit) - Nombreux trous dans le carrelage de la piscine à débordement, pas très classe pour un 5 étoiles également - Climatisation bruyante dans certaines chambres (ça été le cas dans notre chambre côté plage) - Insonorisation a revoir (plafond et porte) dans les chambres hauts de gamme avec piscine privée - Portes des chambres ayant tendance à ne pas se refermer automatiquement lorsque l’on sort, moyen niveau sécurité - Salle du restaurant très bruyante, impossible de petit déjeuner au calme le matin … - Notre seconde chambre présentait de nombreuses traces de fuites sur le mur en provenance de l’étage supérieur, cela devrait être rénové avant de louer la chambre (rappel 400 euros la nuit) - Les piscines privées des chambres haut de gamme ne sont pas chauffées et non exposées au soleil - Location de scooter à 5000 pesos la journée, c’est énorme !! - Organisation d’événements côté plage troublant la tranquillité des chambres notamment la nuit (jusqu’à 23h) Le rapport qualité prix n’est pour moi pas au rendez vous actuellement étant donné les points cités précédemment, c’est un bel hôtel avec des employés vraiment bienveillants avec les clients et c’est très appréciable mais il faut revoir très rapidement la connexion wifi et la rénovation de la piscine à débordement, avec ses améliorations l’hôtel méritera sincèrement ses 5 étoiles et j’aurai plaisir à y revenir.

We stayed for 5 nights during Xmas, a family of four with 2 kids (10 and 8). Starting with the positives: great staff, great for kids, amazing pool, lots of activities for kids and families, a good vibe, good food, although that's an area for improvement, maybe more variety, because every day it's the same menu everywhere. At check-in they accomodated our request for another room and gave as a family room, which was great. The spa was wonderful and I could use the exclusive dry sauna in the spa when I booked my massage. Santa came by boat and the atmosphere was festive, kids got socks Christmas socks at our room doors with a cookie, very sweet, there was chocolate hour at 3 pm every day. Xmas buffet was ok. Water activities are available at extra cost. The hotel was full, but you don't feel it, there's space for everyone and there's unutilized space, like the area next to the reception and the pool bar. Downside is that the facilities are quite dated, it's a 5-star from twenty years ago. The shower would get only lukewarm, which was a torture for us. They actually tried to solve it and it got a bit better but after 3 days we gave up. Noisy split air con in the rooms and a huge air con machine in the Market restaurant that is very annoying. I've stayed at Movenpick hotels before, this one is not at the usual high standard, the hotel is in need of an extensive renovation. Lowest point though was the Accor paid membership. We understood from reception that we would get vouchers to use at the hotel of 3,000 PHP each, but in the end it was only one voucher of 1000. There was a problem with the email (my husband misspelled it) and because of that, we were not able to properly use the membership for 3 days. The 3 complimentary vouchers for 'drinks' excluded alcoholic drinks and the discounts in the restaurants do not work during certain days...we felt tricked, but lesson learned. I would suggest to avoid it. We will definitely return to Boracay, a dream place, but probably not to this Movenpick.
