This hotel was decent. Had a late check-in, we used their airport service which was convinient. They do not have 24 hour front desk so make sure you advise them if you're checking in late. When we arrived, it was honestly very weird how there were people sleeping on the couches in the lobby. Im not sure if they were guest or employees of the hotel but it was definitely odd. The rooms were very spacious, but the TV and phones were broken. I only stayed here for 2 nights so my expectations were very low. Breakfast was included but drinks for breakfast wasnt which was I find odd as well. All in all it was a good stay. They don't have elevator but their people are all willing to help you with their luggage.

It was a wonderful 21 hours of our stay in this place. The cabins are so nice. I love how they surrounded the cabins with nets to protect from the insects. Their staffs are very accommodating especially during the outdoor activities. They even let us ride the Tramvia which is very helpful for PWDs and Senior Citizens guests. Though we never got the chance to swim in the river due to the aftermath of Typhoon Kristine, it was an enjoyable experience not only for us humans but also to our fur babies. Yes, the place is pet friendly.. We will definitely come back again soon.

GGboy MunsayacOverall experience was great and meaningful. First, the staff were all accommodating. From the reception down to the room service attendants, everyone always greeted you with a smile and you can feel the positive disposition. The room was kept very orderly and my special request was granted. They did come up with a nicely done birthday themed decoration for my partner and kid. The complimentary cupcake with greeting was a really nice gesture. This hotel had a huge area that featured facilities to cater to different interests. I like the thought of visiting and feeding the animals at the Farm and the outdoor playground provided a good spot for my little daughter to run around and explore nature. There was an indoor playground too, which was very useful because it also rained the next day and we couldn't afford to expose my kid to the weather. There were 2 pool areas, and I like the thought of the kiddie pools with heaters, since the cold breeze was giving us the shivers. My little one was able to enjoy the dip in the water (also props to the staff who helped inflate the pool toy :)) The buffet breakfast didn't have that many selections, however, the quality of the food was superb. I like their Filipino breakfast lineup of chicken adobo, tocino, danggit and fried rice. The salad bar was also pretty decent with their selections of garnish and dressing. In other words, I wouldn't mind a second visit. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserBooked a room on the third floor, it was a bit hard to go up, the room pillars were a bit too much, the height was a bit short, the tall people were easy to hit their heads, the health was quite clean, the big terrace was very good, it was also booked for the terrace, a little disappointing It was a few days to rain every day, and the experience was a bit discounted. It’s cold, oh yes, I went to New Year’s Eve with my friends, I didn’t book a room on New Year’s Day 😂

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding a few minutes away. Hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful. The welcome is warm, though the individual standing guard at the gate could be a little more friendly. The hotel property is spacious and has a great view of the Taal lake, with the obligatory IG fixture on their lawn. It's obvious that the staff has experience in taking photographs of people and the scenery. Parking is ample, but not shaded. So the sun does beat down on vehicles. Best to keep the windows slightly open to let out the hot cabin air out. The hotel room is well equipped. Clean and functional. Room is well appointed. The pushbutton curtain is a welcome detail. Half finished renovations have marred the view from the balcony, but if doesn't totally ruin the overall experience. Noise suppression is a problem, as you can hear echoes from the lobby quite easily. The card receptacle was either disconnected or not working, as it did not shut off the electronics when the card is removed. TV viewing is juggling with two separate remotes instead of a universal one. No compendium in the room. Bathroom is clean and equipped with amenities. The Bathtub drain mechanism though needs to be attended to. Hot water is not as much as desired, but it does serve its purpose. WIFI in the room and around the hotel are not the greatest, for casual surfing and social media postings it's ok. Breakfast was ok, with the usual fair you find at other hotel properties. Pancakes could be better. The offerings didn't feature much local specialties. It would be good if the coffee is what Batangas was famous for. Sugar substitutes also would be nice. Waitstaff seems to not have a common theme in terms of uniform. At least they were prompt and present went needed, not dragging their feet when working. Unused furniture cluttered the corners of the dining space, making the audio equipment near the open gangway painfully out of place. The pool is beautiful. Not temperature controlled, but placed well enough to be under the sun most of the time. Not much space to go sunbathing. Clean towels are provided. Even though it's not a deep pool to begin with, there is a 'lifeguard' on duty. he could be a little more cheerful and approachable. Bathers though are in full view of the dining guests. So expect to be observed by the people inside in case you have a shapely figure. Safety signs are not that obvious. The Rules and Regulations poster could do with an update. It would be nice if the room had a compilation of literature that would recommend places to go to, places to eat nearby. A local map even. The hotel needs to clean up in terms of polish.

VVinaVanessaHere's an elaborate review based on your stay at Taal Vista Hotel: **Hotel Review: Taal Vista Hotel (Stay Date: January 4-5)** My recent stay at Taal Vista Hotel was a blend of elegance and family-friendly amenities, though not without a few quirks. Pros: 1. **Elegant Ambiance:** Taal Vista Hotel exudes elegance, especially with its grand architecture and beautifully maintained grounds. The back of the hotel features a spacious area perfect for strolling and playing, with breathtaking views of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. 2. **Family-Oriented:** This hotel is a haven for families. The expansive lawn provides ample space for children to run and play. 3. **Wide Parking Space:** Ample parking space makes it convenient for guests arriving with their vehicles. 4. **Breakfast Buffet:** Though the breakfast buffet had limited choices, every dish served was delicious and satisfying. **Cons:** 1. **Unheated Pool:** Unfortunately, the pool is unheated, which might be a downside for those looking to take a dip in colder weather. 2. **Outdated Room:** The room we stayed in felt quite old and outdated. The chair and sofa had tacky covers, likely because they were really old. 3. **Towel Availability:** Surprisingly, there were no towels in our room upon arrival. We had to request them, which was quite disappointing considering this is a 5-star hotel. In conclusion, Taal Vista Hotel offers a beautiful and serene environment, ideal for families, but could use some updates in the rooms and better attention to detail in terms of amenities like towels.

Rrenzie22✅ we went there via commute, the place is accessible and easy to find. ✅ staff are friendly and attentive ✅ hair dryer by request ✅ we tried the other resto, bella ciao, a bit pricey but at least their food was decent. ❎ very small room. feels like im staying at a motel. i requested for a room with balcony. the balcony was very small and has a view of i dont know how to describe it. ❎ the hotel resto, organico gourmet, is meh . we ate there upon checking in, my bbq tasted ok and tender. but on the other order, meat was very hard. there are items on the menu that were not available. the coffee is just sad. oh God why!? ❎ a father and son was stucked at the elevator when there was a power outage. they have a generator but i didnt feel the sense of urgency to help them get out of the elevator asap. i felt sorry for them esp for the toddler as he seemed traumatized by what happened and he kept on crying ❎ pool was small and not heated (considering it's location) but it was ok. until it got very crowded because it is shared with the tenants from the residential area (some rented it out as guests). i hope you do something about it. may be have a different pool exclusive for hotel guests only. shower area was far from the pool, doesn't have any written directions as to where it was. so some just went straight into the pool without showering first. it was also very slippery, so i suggest you put something on the floor to prevent accidents. the area behind the glass of the pool was very dirty . not enough resting area or tables and chairs where we can put our things. ❎ since there was no towel exclusive for pool use, we had to bring our towel from our room. i called front desk to ask for a new towel since the other one was soaked already because we used it to dry ourselves from the pool. they are charging 50pesos for an extra towel. i mean really? overall, it was a bit expensive hotel but the experience didn't match the price. sorry but i will never go back and will not recommend it to anyone.

GGuest Userused to be called the bali village hotel, the new name is more apt and trendy. we stayed here for 5D/4N for a workshop conducted by our agency. we were billeted in rooms situated in north and south wings. ours was in south wing with defective electronic lock and so we were provided with a key to manually open it. our room smells nice, well lit, speedy internet connectivity, good bathroom amenities but lacks hooks inside to hang our towel & clothes. food was adequate and tastes alright. enough to actually bust our hunger and thirst. no hot tea, though. only coffee was the hot beverage available. parking was ample and the rich vegetation served as natural fence that protects trespassers from reaching in. swimming pool was not enticing enough to make us swim. nice ambiance, though.

TTeam BanezJust checked out from a stay at the One Ta***tay Place Hotel. This place had its contrasts, so it's difficult to give a simple good or bad verdict. Firstly, let's commend the staff. Their service was top-notch – always available, ready to help, and maintaining a positive attitude at all times. We had inquiries and requests that were accommodated promptly and efficiently. They are genuinely an asset to this establishment. On the other side of the spectrum were the amenities and the room. It seems that the hotel could benefit from some much-needed refurbishments. Signs of wear were noticeable in the room furnishings and certain areas in the hotel. They weren’t a deal-breaker, but they did detract from the overall impression. Another plus side of One Ta***tay Place: its location. It's perfectly nestled close to the most scenic vistas Ta***tay offers. Its proximity to major attractions is a bonus and is something that future guests would definitely appreciate. In conclusion, One Ta***tay Place might not be a picture-perfect stay but it offers a decent, service-oriented experience, and uses its location to great advantage. A few upgrades could definitely elevate the guest experience. Would I come back? Yes, though I do hope to see some improvements next time around. For the price, service, and location, it's still a considerably good deal.

AArdin SusanaTagaytay has always been a popular destination for a quick getaway, offering breathtaking views of Taal Volcano and a refreshing escape from the city heat. Recently, I had the opportunity to experience a staycation at the Tagaytay Residence by SMCo, and I'm happy to share my thoughts. The Accommodation: I stayed at the Wind Residences, a towering high-rise condo with a cozy and classy lobby. The staff and security guards were polite, and the elevators worked smoothly. The unit itself was basic but comfortable, with a wooden wall separating the living room from the bedroom. It had a TV, Wi-Fi, a comfortable sofa set, a refrigerator, chairs and tables, and a double-decker bed. While the air conditioning wasn't centralized, the natural cool air of Tagaytay was sufficient. The bathroom had a hot and cold shower. Amenities and Facilities: The Wind Residences has a fantastic clubhouse with three swimming pools, two outdoor and one indoor. While there's a fee of ₱150 per person for using the pool, it's worth it for the experience. The clubhouse also has a gym, function rooms, billiard tables, darts, basketball, badminton and lawn tennis courts, and a kiddie playground. The jogging path is huge, and there's a vacant lot in the middle where guests can fly drones. There are also a few shops on the first floor of the buildings, including Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Ace Hardware, BDO, and a 7/11. What I Loved: - The scenic garden and open field - The clubhouse and other amenities - The location - The security Areas for Improvement: - The parking is expensive. - The Wi-Fi is limited. - The sky deck is unfinished. - The restrooms are unfinished. - A heated pool or small jacuzzi would be a great addition. Overall: My staycation at the Tagaytay Residence by SMCo was hassle-free and enjoyable. The host was responsive, and the accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and affordable staycation in Tagaytay.
