The environment is not bad, it is particularly remote. It is a half-hour drive from the central area. The service is very poor. How can you communicate well? You have to add money if you don’t move. The experience is very poor. It won’t be fixed. Health is also general. Many ants

location with access to the beach is great
unfortunately the room available at that time was a standard room, too narrow for three beds to fit
front office didn’t mention about extra amenities in the hotel like a live band in the evening or fireworks by the beach; we also missed to ask
though premises has a very well manicured garden especially the green sprawling grass, the parking space is very limited to about 20 vehicles or less
towels look shabby and off-white already, needing replacement
in fairness, ala carte food is well prepared and tasty, though the complimentary buffet breakfast is just average sausage, fish, pork and eggs
all in all, the Mexican/Mediterranean vibes of the place makes it unique from other resorts, especially that it has a Dino Park nestled around the well kept trees and gardens

The waiters are very good and the food in the restaurant is very good and very fine. The environment is comfortable and can be said to be a sea-view room. The waiter cleans up the room every day. But the location is mid-level, relatively remote, typhoon is coming, many flying insects, get up in the morning, the ants in one place are very scary, and there are ants in the room.
our host was most delightful and this truely is a special place. This place is for the type of traveller that is wanting to emerse themselves in the visaya culture of the philipines. my plan was to spend just one night here and move on but between the peaceful serenity of this place and the amazing host Enid we ended up staying an extra three nights. we left early for an.island hopping tour and our host was up at 4.45 am to make us a lunchbox that we hadnt even requested. Bohol is still underdeveloped but that is the charm of an personality of this place. we rented a car and food outlets where in tagbilaran although there are some lovely local places that are on Panglao island just 5 minutes away. everyday spent at this resort was relaxing and charming. This area has suffered due to the pandemic and i woud encourage tourists to come back and especially to stay at sherwood resort . Thank you Enid and Ann for letting us have a resort of our own for a few days and the amazing hospitality
That's the end of our stay at this hotel in the executive suite.
What we liked:
Hotel location;
Gorgeous landscapes from the room window;
Pool area;
Spacious swimming pool;
Spacious room;
The pool is properly planned;
Very cute dogs and cats. They cheered us up.;
The staff is very polite and tries to help with everything.;
Relaxing massage;
There was oatmeal on the breakfast menu, which is rare in the Philippines.;
Your requests are being listened to.
What didn't you like:
A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked.
We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food.
•On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400.
•When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited.
•Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food.
•The leaves in each salad were stale.
•Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage.
•There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone;
I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours.
•Hand soap has not been refilled in two days;
• The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there;
•The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected.
• One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it;
• Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes.
Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask.
I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!
Magical place! The room is magnificent, with good old furniture, although it is not new, there are no signs of neglect like in others, it is very well maintained, and tastefully done. I didn't want to leave!
There is a blanket, the bed is very comfortable, the air conditioning is silent. Fireflies are flying in the garden!
They cleaned the room every day; the linen was not changed for 4 days, although on the third day it would not have been bad in such heat, but we did not insist. There is no safe, unfortunately, although the area looks safe, it would have made me feel safer.
We rented a stool at the hotel for 600 pesos per day, it was convenient, in the city you can find it for 400 and better quality, but you need to book in advance.
The breakfasts are very tasty, when there are a lot of residents, it’s a buffet, but I liked the menu even better.
The coffee is very good, real, a rarity for the Philippines!!! The restaurant is nice, it has organic products, we dined there 3 times, but then it gets boring, of course. Unfortunately, we didn’t like the fish dishes, but we haven’t come across good ones anywhere in the Philippines. The soups are delicious, you can take a portion for two.
There is an ATM, you can withdraw from the Union Pay Gazprombank card, as everywhere else with a commission.
I would definitely come back here Carmen

GGuest UserThe hotel is very new, the overall environment is great, and the service is very friendly
The bathroom is a bit small and the water pressure is not very stable
The Internet is not good, but the breakfast is great and delicious.
The location is only about 15 minutes' drive from Alona and the port.
NNgendakuriyoI would say that Bohol Coco Farm has been the best place I have stayed in during my trip in the Philippines.
The Owners are amazing, the staff is wonderful and friendly. There is a relaxing vibe there, bonus you will get free coffee, free breakfast, free water to start your day and there is a weekly Saturday bbq, you eat as much as you can and get to socialize..
I would strongly recommend it.. I loved it and hope to come back soon .
GGuest UserIt is a beautiful and charming hotel with an original, round swimming pool. There are a lot of nice decorations and mottos, I like the style very much. The room is rather simple and the shared bathroom ok. The common space is nice with places to sit and hammocks to hang in. Everyting is good here except the kitchen service. The first night we wait for dinner for an hour and a half (!) and it's just shrimps and the next day pinakbet is poor. For breakfast we have a greasy omelette. They have a note they serve coffee with a free biscuit and beer with free nuts which is not true, the snacks are not available. There are no eating options in the village. The beach is nice but nothing special. There are no shops nearby.
하하창현1. I tried to check in at 5pm and it took almost two hours. There is still no housekeeping system.
You have to request room cleaning, amenity refill, towel change, etc. several times in the lobby.
2. It is absolutely inconvenient if you do not have transportation, whether it is a bike or a car.
Recommended if you have your own childcare device.
3. I used a water filter, but it turned bright yellow.
Water pressure is fine for Bohol Island, and the hot water boiler works well.
3. I booked 3 nights for around $60 and it was cost-effective.
It is far from the coast, so that is a weakness.
If it is offered for around $60, I would be willing to reuse it.
4. The breakfast buffet and swimming pool are just so-so.
It is neither bad nor good.
Breakfast is limited in quantity, but it is delicious.
Since it is a new hotel, the facilities are clean, but the overall hotel system is not yet in place. (Stayed at the end of December 2024)
PPatrick GThe beauty of the place itself you'll see on images and other comments.. so I will focus on some other infos: You can rent a bike from them (~500 php/day) and start to various activities on Bohol or visit Alona Beach. We also did the common countryside tour (blood compact, tarsier, floating restaurant, zip line and chocolate hills) with a bike from here (if you book a guided tour it will cost you at least 2500 php). For hospitality I would have to rate 6 stars, Ernest and his employees around Sylvi helped us out with nearly everything we asked. Whether we had to call someone, print something or book a ride to the airport they helped us and were always super friendly. Also Ernest gave us a lot of tips what to do on Bohol. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back some day. Thank you very much! (Just one little tip from us, maybe install a mosquito net over the beds ;-))
GGuest UserI'm surprise to read quite a few negative reviews here about this hotel. Unfortunately, it pulled their ratings down as well. Too bad as this hotel really did a great job for us. First off, the staff was friendly and super accommodating! This is a last minute overnight booking for us. We were supposed to stay with a family but since our flight got delayed, we had to book here for the meantime. The late night airport transfer (airport pick-up) was the most convenient, as well as very helpful. The driver even offered to take us grocery shopping if needed. I mean, our flight arrived 1030pm via Korea (with 10hours layover) so both my teen son and I were exhausted. It's good to know we have someone reliable and friendly waiting for us. Despite the late night check-in, the staffs were smiling, cheerful and gave us a welcome lei necklace or shell necklace. It's my teen son's first time in Bohol, so he was happy at this unexpected welcome experience. Furthermore, our booking included a dinner for 2 but since we missed that due to our flight delay and will be checking out the next day, the staff changed that to 2 free lunch instead. That's another convenience for us, since our family will pick us up after lunch the next day. Our room and bathroom was clean and comfortable - 2 double beds, strong shower pressure, cold a/c and our room included a welcome water bottles for us, which again is an add on convenience for us (esp. arriving super late at night). With a teen in tow, WiFi is important. No issues on that as their WiFi was pretty strong. The hotel itself is situated in the quiet side of Pangloa, which is a plus for us exhausted travelers. We slept and rested very well that night after a nice hot shower. The next day, my teen was excited to look around the hotel property. The pool area was clean, huge and nicely decorated. It has that island feel to it. Unfortunately, it rained and there's a lightning/thunder alert hence he was unable to swim in the pool. However, we had fun strolling around the property. It has a welcoming vibe to it. We ate at their restaurant for lunch, even invited family over. Over all, a convenient, relaxing- stress free and comfortable overnight stay here. Will we stay here again? Definitely!
