Many days later... after searching for weeks, finally found a place to celebrate my daughter's first birthday, found the place is Camelot hotel, we can use King Hall to celebrate. The coordinated staff (sorry I forgot her name) was very attentive and able to handle all my needs and questions. Besides, the package I ordered was budgeted and the place to party was perfect for the theme of my daughter's birthday. The food was delicious and I loved everything they offered. Location is close to abs-cbn (the largest TV station in the Philippines), very convenient.

The place is nice but does not have enough parking. It’s close to some amenities like malls. The room itself is very nice and clean but no pets allowed. It served for what I need to do in Manila. Dry expensive for an average hotel. We left early instead of staying extra day because we ended up getting a puppy that was given to us unexpectedly and they would not allow us to bring it to our room for at least the night since we’re leaving the next day. They would not budge so we left and paid for an extra night for nothing for they will not refund it.

Sequoia Hotel Upon checking in, I was asked how many will be staying in the room and I said 3. The receptionist pointed out that breakfast is just for 2 of which, I didn’t have a problem with. He asked for payment for 2 nights which I paid using my card and asked for Php 2000 cash deposit which I said I’s rather be put on hold from my card. Oddly enough, we were only given 1 key. I thought maybe there was already a card placed in the card switch socket in the room but when we got there, there was none. So, was the assumption is that we each one of us open the door every time someone goes out and comes back? I requested for an extra key which took time so I made another follow up. After a couple of mins wait, someone knocked and I don’t know if they were trying to be funny but 2 staff were holding out 2 keycards when I opened the door. Seriously? Room was small but nice. There was an electric kettle and cups, the usual hotel set up but they didn’t have complimentary coffee and tea set up. A small thing for Php 4200 per night rate. On our second night, when we came back from a wedding, it was so upsetting to discover that our keys didn’t work when we came back to our room. I asked reception why and she said the key expired. Again - seriously? You get 2 nights room payment but cut the key for 1 night??? The lady didn’t even apologize but rather, said she will check on the person on duty when I checked in. Then - no updates already. After the key incident, imagine finally being able to access our room and discovering that it wasn’t cleaned. I called reception, spoke to a guy and again, I was told that “he will check on Housekeeping”. When asked if my assumption is correct that all our rooms remain uncleaned, he said “most probably, yes.” WHAAAAAAT? Waited and waited to nothing so I called again and a lady answered. She told me yes that they are already checking on what happened………….. so I asked her what I should do - am i waiting for someone to clean? Am i waiting for their feedback on what happened? Ang labo. Also reported na din our AC that doesn’t cool and is noisy. In fairness, Maintenance people went up right away. But they just told us that “every so often, when the AC / room reaches it’s max temp, the AC goes to eco mode”. What are they talking about? The AC never reached a cool mode since we checked in 24 hours ago. Room attendant finally arrived and cleaned our rooms one by one. Of course, we have to do room hopping while cleaning was on going. Convenient right? Not. Cleaning was so-so - used cups were not replaced. You’d still see a paper on the floor. Bathroom sink wasn’t wiped. But then, at least the room was “refreshed” for the night. Too many on duty on a Saturday at the front desk - apart from the 2 ladies (there was a 3rd too) at the desk. There were 2 gentlemen walking around the lobby, doing nothing. Been staying at Studio 89 Residences for the past few days and feeling grateful for the complete amenities, the very helpful staff, and the classy room interiors. Have been a fan of details and I really appreciate how the furniture was selected, arranged sleek and classy, and comfortable. Thankful for the uber helpful and friendly staff! Always bringing my heavy stuff straight to the room. Indeed one call away. It’s situated minutes away from convenience stores, UP and Ateneo, UP Town Center, several good eats, and with 2 nearby hospitals in case of emergencies. Easy to find for your deliveries too! The Studio 89 Residences, indeed a home away from home.

Great place to stay, close to many resturants and hospitals. Can to QC for training and will stay hrre again. Rooms are great, staff is very freindly. You will love staying here. Lobby is very nice with coffee shop right beside. Order the milk coffee.

Surely will come back again. Place is so good. The ambiance, the overall experienced is superb. Thank you very much Glenn for a wonderful time with your unit.

Very simple and basic lodging. A fair deal near MRT Gilmore station and Robinsons Magnolia. The place is clean but toiletries are not available in the room so you have to bring your own.
