Island is beautiful, food is acceptable. But service is very bad. I traveled by air for a few hours followed by another 3 hours on bad road condition then ferry to the hotel, when i was super tiring. I arrived at hotel at 11am and waited until 3pm to have a room.
I dont understand why it takes four hours for cleaning when i have told the front desk lady multiple times that i am not feeling well. I d rather clean it myself. On the second day, we went out for diving and came back at 2pm, hotel didnt do room cleaning at all..
I also asked for a spa session. The lady pointed me to a random place with nobody inside. I walked back and forth to ask her again. It happened again when my room is ready. I cant find my room but walking back and forth. Far worse than Thailand, Indonesia in service and price are equally expensive. Suggest to train staff with basic hospitality ethics instead of leaving the guest wandering around for hours and hours.
Hotel upgraded our meal with breaky and dinner. But food quality is not hotel level. No other choice on this island. I wont come back to Philippine again.
That was the best experience! We arrived by ferry from Panglao to Oslob early morning. Came to hotel. Even check-in time was 14:00, the host took our luggage and opened the room earlier. It was 9 am, so we even managed to go to whale sharks same morning. Shuttle from hotel took us to place, where special guide meet us and guided to boat. Everything was fast, we didn’t stand in a line, no waiting at all. Also hotel organises tours to Sumillon island and Turmalog falls. Exceptional service! Rooms are comfortable, very clean and spacious. Highly recommend!
We paid 20$ per person per night. Understandable for the conditions of the place for the price we paid. But as it was very close to the road, it was so noisy at night as the lorry and buses passing by. Need to have earplugs if you want a good night sleep. For breakfast, either you buy earlier at 7 eleven at other places and not at oslob. Or you can go to whaleshark place to have your breakfast.

We headed to Oslob from Cebu City to snorkel with whale sharks.
Because it was a weekend, it took 5.5 hours in traffic and we were about 10 minutes late for check-in, but they welcomed us with a smile. There was a toilet, but there was no toilet paper, so I recommend bringing it with you (this is common in the Philippines).
The shower was in a different place, but we didn't use it because we took a shower at the dormitory where we were studying abroad. They came to wake us up at 4am the next morning and we walked for about 5-10 minutes to where we could see the whale sharks. We overslept, so we left at 4:30 and reservations started at about 5:30. We were able to line up and swim at this time before 8am. I recommend bringing some snacks with you. After we finished, we ate, went to the nearby Tumalog Falls, and returned to the hotel to check out.
They were really helpful in carrying our luggage during the tour! I would definitely use them again if I have the chance!
When we went, whale shark snorkeling was 500 pesos and a GoPro was 550 pesos.
It’s very strategic. It’s near the Whale shark diving and Sumilon Island. The hotel has heater and airconditioning but no hygiene products like complimentary tissue. There is a bath towel but no floor mats so it was muddy after going to the beach. It’s 2 minutes from the beach but you cannot swim there because of whale sharks. Restaurant is also 2 mins away
This is a super hotel, so bright with a new renovation. But the most important thing is that the staff are very kind people who help with everything. Kent is a very nice guy, he booked us a queue for an excursion to the sharks at 5 am, we went to get the queue. Then we came back and went to bed. At 6 o'clock our turn came, we returned to the sea. He agreed that only the guys from our hotel, 8 people, were in the boat. We also rented a GoPro through him for underwater filming. And through the hotel we also booked places on a boat to Bohol. The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the place where you can swim with sharks. The room is clean, the towels are snow-white. In general, I liked everything.
It is a sufficient facility nearby if you are just to watch sharks. I arrived when I walked about 5 minutes.
The shared part of the shower and toilet was clean. The water pressure is not strong
If the breakfast is not high, it ’s still good. Our twin room for two adults and four children did n’t require extra money and extra bed. It ’s very convenient to bring children. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Parking is also convenient. However, the hotel phone can not be reached because there is no signal or anything, the contact is provided by email, Ctrip service can provide, we are family free. I was relieved by the bus because I didn't know the time until 9 o'clock in the evening, and I communicated with the boss through emails along the way. The boss is a gentle girl who can help buy tickets to see the whale sharks. Her uncle helps to pick up and drop off. The price is reasonable. The hotel is near the road to see the whale sharks. The domestic traveler next door also gave snacks to my children. The people along the way were very warm and friendly. Although in the eyes of Chinese people, it is relatively backward, but people are really friendly.
Oslob seafari resort is an outstanding but very affordable hotel located in the south part of Cebu (Oslob) in the Philippines. You can perfectly plan to stay one or two nights of your holidays in this place to enjoy all the landmarks and activities around the hotel. The Whaleshark watching activity is really close, 5 minutes by motorcycle.
The staff are friendly and rooms have basic amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, toothbrush, and complimentary water.
The hotel has three outdoor swimming pools with great views to sea. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars within 10 min or less walking distance.
