Close to the Campanha train and bus station, but a long walk from the tourist area, although just a short metro ride away. Good attention from the person in charge, the room was quite good, a giant bathroom and even a little terrace. The common area stands out, where tea and coffee are offered throughout the day as well as fruit and croissants, nuts and even port wine, the possibility of cooking and relaxing on a terrace. In the morning, you prepare your breakfast, you have the refrigerator where there are types of milk, ham, cheese, butter... nutella, cereals, very complete really... this accommodation is quite good, recommended!

The hotel’s public spaces are great and it’s an old palace. But the room is not in the palace, but an old building next to it. The hotel is about three kilometers away from the old city center, a little far away, but the hotel shuttle bus is free (10:00 am, 4 pm)

My husband and I only spent one night here after moving to a more centrally located hotel in the downtown in the beautiful old district. We cannot say that the district that this hotel is located in is ideal for exploring Porto, unless of course you okay with using Ubers, taxis, metro, etc. It is located in a rather dark and questionable area. It is also about a 40 minute walk to downtown from this hotel. However, the staff here are very friendly, the breakfast was great and the room, although a bit on the small side was more than adequate.

It is a good hotel if you go by car because then to go to the center you have to take public transport that is not very close and also if you go with your family it is more profitable to take Uber!

The location of the hotel is very good, right next to Campanyan railway station, very convenient by train and subway. The hotel has a small facade, but in fact it is not small, and with two small atriums, the style is very unique. The staff at the main station are fluent in English and have a cordial and friendly attitude. The rooms are large in size, with balconies, and very quiet. The facilities in the room are a bit old, but they are well maintained and there is no problem in using them. From the hotel to the old town of Porto, you can walk all the way along the station front street, which takes about 30 minutes, but it feels pretty good to experience Porto’s city life all the way. I went to the old city on foot and took the subway back from San Bento at night. It was quite convenient.
