Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage, ist in Zentrum vom Ort jedoch auf eine ruhiger Straße. Bis zum Strand 500 m entfernt. Man kann unendlich lang am Strand spazieren oder auf anderen Seite - durch Ort an malerischen Häuschen vorbei. Die Zimmer im Hotel sind hell, sauber, haben Fernseher, Safe, kleinen Kühlschrank und Balkon. Das Personal ist sehe freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Und der Tiefgarage hat genug Platz.

Wonderful place at all levels. We love it and will definitely be back 👌 Only repair is even the water in the pools should be warmer. I strongly advise you to visit and enjoy everything this Lindo Hotel has to offer.

Reasonable hotel, we found a very good price here on Trip. Positive points: Smells good, welcome drink of Port wine at reception, some nice details, as you would expect in a 4-star hotel. Good cleaning and room service. Good rooms and breakfast. Underground parking. Negative points: We didn't like the service and the reception staff. We didn't have SPA robes in the room. It was a challenge to obtain, we were only given 2 for 4 people, and we had to ask for another 2 the next day. Unforgiven. The SPA area was very weak, the Turkish bath didn't work, the indoor pool was old and the decor was outdated. It was a special date, we made that clear several times and there was not a single attention from the hotel to the birthday people, not even a birthday candle, absolutely nothing. We would have to pay €30 to have our room decorated with sparkling wine. Because without paying, the hotel will not come forward with anything. It's a small hotel, we expected more customer attention.

This hotel is right on the water in the town upscale coastal city Cascais. The hotel is an old mansion converted into a five star hotel. The views were stunning. The dining room views were gorgeous. The lounge area was very nice as well. The decor is modern art with use of different mediums including plastic. It is well incorporated into the ambiance. One thing I found interesting is that the toiletries had very expensive price tags. When we stayed in Cascais we were hoping to swim in the pool and the Ocean . The weather was unusually windy which brought a chill. The bar area would get loud at night and the wind would howl through our room so it wasn’t as peaceful as we had hoped. The breakfast was opulent and delicious. The concierge Barbara was lovely.

The Staff at Macarico Beach Hotel in Praia De Mira is wonderful and that's why I rated 4 stars. Everyone is very nice and professional, also very helpful. However the hotel needs a few things to change. The room has a glass bathroom with a sheer white curtain. No privacy to use toilet. Showering isn't a big deal but myself and boyfriend felt uncomfortable using the toilet to relief our stomach. We had to leave the room or sit on the balcony while the other was on the toilet. Also there was no shelf in the shower to put soap, shampoo or shower gel. The balcony needs a screen to prevent mosquitoes from entering the room. We wanted an ocean view with a balcony so we can hear the ocean while sleeping. But mosquitoes came in because of no screen door. The hallway needed more lights, was dark in the night. Also the breakfast was not the best. Not many options. A few pastries and the same watery eggs with mushrooms. I was not impressed with the breakfast. Also the laundry service was very expensive. I wanted 2 jeans and 4 sweaters to be washed in cold water. They charged 31 Euros. After that I had to look for a Laundromat and find time to wash clothes on my vacation. We were there for 13 days and I don't like to have dirty clothes in my luggage. One of the reasons why I chose Macarico because they offered laundry service, but I was not aware of how expensive it would be to wash a few pieces of clothing. I paid 10 Euros to wash and dry a load of clothes at the Lavandaria 5 minutes away from the hotel. The pool is small and so is the gym. I didn't have the chance to try their Spa. Overall I would not recommend Macarico Beach Hotel in Praia De Mira nor will I stay there again. Look into an Airbnb or different hotel.

Hotel located in a quiet area of living surrounded by pinearies, 5 minutes' drive from the beach of Mira, a good location for the rest of the people. The staff was friendly and sympathetic, and they are trying to help, however, it is visible that the hotel does not have enough staff for the number of rooms, at breakfast they cannot rest with the necessary speed, and one day they did not clean the rooms (we reserved 3 rooms). Other days the cleaning consisted of making beds and waste was not discarded. In most time the reception has nobody, because they have to support breakfast or rooms. Several maintenance problems and damage in rooms, moisture infiltration in the building (one of the rooms smells the humidity), and especially the quite dismayed pool area. The sun burned herbs, old sprayers, the pool was not cleaned, and the TV was not ready in one of the rooms. I couldn't rest because during the night there is a constant noise of ventilation, or perhaps washing machines, defeating all the goal of this hotel that is to go to a quiet area. The rooms are modern and the wi-fi works well, but need more investment, staff and maintenance to justify the 4-star category and the price requested.
