Just checked out from this beautiful and well maintained hotel. The breakfast was fantastic. Very friendly owner and staff. The Roms and bath are very nice. Voucher for welcome drinks is given at check-in and that was also given 20 years ago, same owner then and he still runs the hotel with the same good style and professionalism.
What a pathetic excuse for a hotel! It might have been a 4 star hotel back in the days when it was new, but this is what happens if you don't invest in renovation and skilled personnel. Due to a double booking in the hotel I regularly visit I ended here. The lady at the reception ”welcomes me back” at my check in, although I visited the hotel never before. I never had such a fake and impersonal experience before. The rooms are outdated, the furniture is broken, the carpet is totally worn out and smells really bad. Shower and bathroom aren't clean. Breakfast is nothing special: dry bread, overcooked egg, watery coffee and a waitress with an attitude. This was a once in my lifetime, I'd never go back to this place.
Hotel located on the edge of a very noisy national road but the location is very convenient to get to the airport which is 10 minutes away and parking is free.
The staff was very smiling and very welcoming. We had to leave at 4am for our plane and despite the hour they offered us coffee, orange juice and homemade cake before leaving.
The room is ”in its own juice” but very clean and with a balcony overlooking the pool. The evening menu is very extensive and reasonably priced.

Easy to clean and comfortable. There is a locker to store luggage, but because the locker door was unlocked and the luggage was put in, I followed the instructions on the back of the proximity card but it couldn't be locked. I don't know if it was an operating error or other reasons, so I went to have a meal without locking it and came back.
One doesn't normally associate ”Classy” with (relatively) inexpensive airport hotels, but I'm going to do it. This is a nice airport hotel that gets many things right without being snooty about it. We (two couples) only had a night, but that was enough to appreciate the very clean rooms (with useful touches like USB power outlets in all the right places), and pleasant and helpful staff. The dining room was unpretentious and yet we had a remarkably nice (not great, and not foofy, but very nice) dinner, and the breakfast spread was well thought out and delicious. Just to top it off, a cornfield is right across the street. More practically, it's a few minutes from the terminal by shuttle, and the rental car lots are within walking distance. (Do have your phone or study the map carefully first, though.)
Due to price and proximity to the airport, I chose to stay here for a night while waiting for my flight back to the USA. Why due to price, might you ask? Well, doesn’t 63 USD sound amazing, especially since neighboring hotels were selling in the hundreds that same night? I tried booking that young-adult discount rate online prior to arriving at the property, which I knew was only available for purchase on the official hotel site but assumed I could easily get at the check-in counter as well. The site was down or not accepting my bank account for whatever reason, even after clearing all fraud protection freezes and things like that. Please know that when I say the following, I’m not putting direct blame on the individual staff members at Stay Hotel Porto Airport. I’m putting blame on the larger system. BUT it still needs to be said. I wish the staff could have quickly given me the $63 rate at the check-in counter, KNOWING I was having trouble with the website/app and should’ve been entitled to it with a better payment method. By the time I tried and tried and tried to get the rate to go through, the $63 rate had expired and the next best option was for $81, still exclusive to the app. And sure enough, know what happened when I tried paying for the $81? Still no luck. When the clock struck midnight, all hope was lost for a cheaper rate—the app reset its prices to the next night, and I had to pay a rate of around $100 at the counter to get a room right then. A valid argument could be to ask why I’m this picky about the prices, since when viewing it macroscopically, the differences aren’t that extreme. But I was traveling on a VERY tight budget. Every little amount counts a ton. And being at the end of my trip, my finances were in jeopardy more than they’d been at any other point in Europe. So I lost out on 40 bucks, which adjusted for non-backpacker inflation is 400 bucks. Or more. The last thing I’m going to add to the unfortunate pricing situation is one where I feel arguably the most disappointed about. Yes it’s apparently company rules not to book rates over the counter that are supposed to be booked online. But I didn’t feel that sense of sympathy or apology from either of the two employees at the desk. They were kind and friendly enough, which was expected—but when something goes wrong out of the customer’s control, I also expect clear, explicit concern and care to be verbalized. I don’t think they really “cared” that I missed out on a cheap rate because their company’s app payment portal malfunctioned. One of the ladies even told me (when I asked if this was a common issue with foreigners) that this scenario occurs roughly once each WEEK, which she labeled as not very common…but I beg to differ. I’m not saying they should fix the app issue…but they should’ve given me something like an apology. Quickly to fulfill my job responsibilities as an objective and comprehensive reviewer…the room was clean and comfy, the bathroom was spacious with
The location of the hotel is very good, it is convenient to go anywhere, the hotel staff is also very good, breakfast is OK, very nutritious, we go to the customer factory, the front desk Hebei is warm, give me a taxi, things to the hotel, the car to the airport is free at any time
We stayed here for only one night since it's close to the airport. We arrived around 1am and the check-in was easy and fast. Comfortable, modern and clean room. Very quiet surroundings and extremely friendly staff. Slept like a baby. Would definitely stay here again if needed.
Best thing is the location. Right across from the metro and the airport. Handy for an early morning flight. Receptionist just lovely, welcoming, friendly and as helpful as can be. I had a small room in the ground floor so bang bang bang went the front door all night. The aircon wasn’t working and the window couldn’t be left open with the curtains closed….it was one or the other, so a hot night. However the comfy bed made up for it. But the double room was tiny. Nowhere for luggage. But it’s a stop over for the airport, so one night is fine. Most importantly the room was sparkling clean (like new), really comfortable bed, smart decor and a really good shower in a shiny new bathroom. If anything though it’s a little over priced.
This hotel is located very closed to highway so it was a bit noisy when I was sleeping. The size of the room is too small and the light in the shower is damaged and off so I have to take shower at dark. The bed is too low and not comfortable and I don’t feel the floor is clean enough to walk with my bare foot.
The hotel is also difficult to find and I have to walk more than 15minutes to get to the hotel. It wasn’t a pleasant stay with this hotel and next time I will not book an airport hotel.

A éviter.
