We did not actually stay at this hotel, but I had an interaction that is worth mentioning. We were exploring the area in front of the hotel when I had a mishap. Nothing major, but I certainly needed some attention. We entered the hotel seeking some assistance, and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful. I'm sure they knew we weren't guests there, but that didn't matter. I'm sure that level of service is also extended to anyone staying there.

Very nice hotel, well-equipped with a beautiful pool and a clean garden. Taktic position because it is just a few steps from the center and the beach, with internal parking for the cars (if you come back late night you might find it full, but there is so much space in the street and the car is needed on these The staff is very friendly and willing to meet the client's demands. We were lucky for the apartment because we had a garden view, very quiet and at the first floor with balcony: spacious and clean (weather change possible even every day by wishing). Very recommended!

The hotel is right in front of the beach and harbour. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They will give you towels for the beach if you ask A room with a sea and harbour view is worth paying the extra for. Breakfast is nice but the same every day. You can catch the bus to other areas of the island, which is easy and only a few euros. Only 10 minutes from the airport. You can get the bus for a euro or taxi for 10 euros. Restaurants and bars are close by. Managed to find some vegetarian food but not much. The local wine is nice and low priced. Little fridge in the room for cold drinks but no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

This is how you can leave your car at the hotel and have the opportunity to try the Azorian wines. It was far from our best residence and breakfast of our 6 visiting islands (Sao Miguel,,Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico and Faial). We would have liked to stay there for a day, but our planning for inland flights and boat connections was not allowed, because there are not all the days. flight and boat connections with all islands (after Terceira, Graciosa). If we come back to the Azores, it's first Terceira, With Atlantida Mar. We stayed in a junior suite for just 2 nights on the 7th and 8th of June. Made use of the outdoor pool and hot tub. Very friendly reception. Excellent buffet breakfast with a large choice, including fresh fruit. The goods were constantly replenished. The hotel is located just above the ocean. In between there is a 'walking track' along which you reach the center of Praia after about 10 steps, including the O pescador restaurant. For example, you can leave your car at the hotel and you have the opportunity to taste the Azorian wines. It was by far our best stay and breakfast of our 6 islands visited (Sao miguel, Terceira, Graciosa, Sao Jorge, Pico and Faial). The location of the hostel in views of the Bucht of Praia da Vitória is very good. The rooms are clean and lovely furnished. The service is very friendly, but not around the hour on the ground (a telephone number is still deposited). The rooms are equipped with all necessary, but quality and cleanness in the community kitchen are only provided.

I was offered a 'quiet' room to the back as by receptions own admission front rooms were noisy due to cobblestone roads. The room was directly over aircon system, generating a constant hum even with windows closed. The bathroom is badly designed, with tight toilet situation. Despite rooms appearing available on booking websites, reception stated I could not move for first two nights. I was told I would be moved further along corridor. On my lateish return, I was then allocated a room to the street - even noisier than before. In addition, despite the manger originally claiming all bathroom designs were the same, this turned out to be inaccurate as the room I was moved to had a well-designed bathroom. Basically, I feel I was just messed around by reception, creating stress and spoiling the last days of the holiday and for the above reasons would not recommend.

The Shipyard was a wonderful hotel for a family Stay. The design was contemporary and lovely. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in our group and it was perfect as us parents had the room and the kids stayed on a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The apartments were very well-equipped and spacious. I highly recommend this to a family looking for a place to stay in Terceira. The location was also lovely as it was close enough to the old part of the city and the port for all the water activities. Breakfast was lovely as well. They had a buffet for standard fare like fruit bread and other breakfast items, but you could order from a menu for eggs and coffee orders. Overall very complete solid breakfast offering. Added bonus was the covered underground parking.

Excelente localização, empreendimento reúne todas as condições para ser o melhor da ilha, contudo parece estar em contenção severa de recursos. A limpeza não abona nos quartos, é notório que fazem limpezas superficiais, quarto espaço no entanto o mini bar nada tem, produtos de higiene parecem misturados com água para render, os pequenos almoços são muito fracos, poucas opções, pouco cuidado, fraca qualidade, pouca comida. A piscina é de água gelada e o jacuzzi não é convidativo… hotel 5 estrelas que não deveria ter mais que 3 pelos serviços prestados, lamentável!
