I debated between Upon and the hotel apartment in the old town for a long time, and finally decided to stay in Upon, because they are really cost-effective in comparison, and the money saved on taking a taxi or subway is definitely enough. I have seen that the rooms in the better hotel chains in Lisbon are not too big. Their rooms are relatively larger at more than 30 square meters, and they also have small kitchens where you can cook your own meals. Another advantage is that they are not far from the subway station, about 700 to 800 meters, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk. It is very convenient to go anywhere. Moreover, they were opposite Benfica, and there was a game on the second night of their stay there, so I felt the enthusiasm of the fans. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the hotel. It would be better if the kitchen utensils were more complete in size. It would be better to consider the issue of hanging clothes after washing. There are also cleaning staff who don't speak English, but the service at the front desk is still good. If you ask them any questions, they can explain them patiently. If you book a room without breakfast, their breakfast on the first floor seems to be 13 euros per person. Besides, because the children are older, all the one-bedrooms are specially reserved. The sofa bed has been set up and the bedding has been put out, which is quite thoughtful. I will probably choose them next time I come here. It is highly recommended. Oh, and I would like to add that right across from the Benfica Stadium is the Columbus Shopping Center in Lisbon. It is convenient for shopping and eating. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk.

We had a very nice stay at the LISBON Marriott. We communicated with the hotel in advance informing them we would not arrive until 7am for our reservation and requested that they combine that with a group reservation for the next evening. When we arrived a very pleasant young lady at the Elite desk (Iona???) checked us in, acknowledged that our Suite Night Award (SNA) had been honored and that the two night separate reservations were set to keep us in the same room. She also advised us that we could go down to the restaurant for breakfast after we freshened up. Our room had not been updated yet like some, but it was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant for breakfast was excellent and had many choices including an egg station. Even though there were two groups there the next morning, they were efficient and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The concierge lounge is not open for breakfast, but it is open during the day for beverages and the evening offerings were very nice and plentiful. We had occasion to meet Ms. Magalhaes who was very busy with the groups but yet spent time speaking with us about the property and thanking us for our loyalty. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. The only issue we had was that two elevators were not working causing a delay to get to/from our room during ”rush hour”. I hope they get this fixed, but overall we would recommend this property.

The overall feeling of staying at the hotel is not bad, the breakfast variety is very rich, the only thing that is missing is that because the restaurant waiter is not very active, you need the guest to ask for tea to serve.

We spent two nights here while in Lisbon on our tour of Spain, Portugal & Morocco. This was one of the nicer hotels they put us up in. The hotel and rooms were modern and very clean. The rooms were reasonably sized. Not overly large, but adequate for two people and luggage. There was an ATM in the lobby. And the WiFi was reliable. The room was cool when we checked in! If any of the things I've commented on seem like something you would expect, don't! Our experiences on this trip made us appreciate all of these things. The sink in bathroom drained slowly and the holder for the hand shower was broken. (It fell to lowest height every time the hand shower was removed.) Housekeeping should be logging these things for Maintenance to address proactively. But, overall, we enjoyed our stay in what was one of my favorite cities from our trip

The hotel is average, the beds were average, the room was average, the experience was average, you get my point. You will not leave the site singing its' praises. Because we were in November, no air conditioning was available even though temperatures were in the mid to high 70s (f). The best we could do, was open the windows. The staff was no really ready for prime time, they had consistent problems with providing accurate and workable key cards, a pain, since they had two small elevators for a 8-story building in the heart of a business district. The bathroom in tub shower was actually a challenge and, essentially, dangerous. We ended up on the second floor and, to same time, took the stairs down to the lobby only to find that the door from the stairwell would not open, the door handle just turned and turned. I knocked on the door until someone in the lobby opened it. When I the front desk staff about a genuine fire hazard, they seemed to indicate they already knew about the problem. The breakfast was terrible, even by U.S. Express Hotel standards. Please, please find another location to stay.

I really enjoyed our staying in lisbon apartment.The best thing:There is no reception,you have entrance code to come inside building and room.The room is super super clean.The cleaning service and virtual reception was really good and fast.For us everything was enough beacause we spent all our time to visit lisbon and around.Hotel is near the airport and 15 min driving to the centro.We had our car,there is parking space around but you have to pay.At keast I will choose this brand again to visit lisbon.

The room is clean, and the shower is working in order. The breakfast at 9€ is value for money. Wish that the access to hot drinking water could be available at every room level. The screening of Live soccer games at the lounge is readily available. Nice.

We stayed at the icons hotel after much research. We really enjoyed our visit. So why……? Here is 10 reasons… 1) Great location. Only about 15 min walk to metro 2) Lidl and other supermarkets also 10-15 mins away 3) whilst the room was small in form. It has all the facilities we needed (3 in total). The balcony was perfect and was west facing so enjoyed ☀️ sunshine from afternoon until evening. Please note the hotel is in the direct flight path to the airport. If you do t like planes, forget it. For us it was fascinating. Bed was firm but comfortable. Air con was great 4) breakfast was much better than we expected. A huge range of food from cereals to scrambled eggs and pastries. The area where breakfast is held is clean and well organised by the team. Thanks 5) safe in the room was useful 6) bathroom shower was fantastic 7) many local restaurants that were close by that served great authentic food 8) cost €8 by UBER to airport 9) 2 lifts in the apartment. Worked well 10) the view from our apartment whilst a little industrial was interesting. If your a 5 star kind of person or family, this place is not for you If your looking for a cool, clean, well positioned in an authentic neighbourhood, this hotel this is great The best advice you will get is to leave PLENTY of time to get to the airport. 2 reasons 1) traffic is busy in the area 2) they have passport control AFTER security. Yes IN DEPARTuRes. Don’t leave late and hope to rush through. It is a busy airport and stressful when you area in a huge queue. You have been warned!!!!

The hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

It is a very suitable hotel for bringing children because there are several game consoles for children to play. It's just that it's a bit confusing to enter the parking lot. After getting the ticket, it's not too much to wait for the rolling door to rise for a parking space. It is outside the city of Lisbon. There is a very large supermarket nearby 10 to 15 minutes' walk away.
