Belgrade FortressTTandi1984The city is loud and bustling. Busy roads, busy streets and busy shops. This is like an oasis of calm that separates the bustle from the rivers. The fortress is well maintained and beautiful, with so many directions to choose for a walk afterwards. I chose to walk along the rivers whilst marvelling at the fortress on the hill. it’s easy to imagine why this place was chosen as an overwatch, very little can get in or out undetected.
