Best Nykvarn Hotels

Don't let the price for one moment convince you that you will be staying at Fawlty Towers. This family owned Hotel is run like a well oiled machine. The service is professional and friendly. The ambience is utilitarian and functional. This is a no frills hotel. There are no kettles or hairdryers in the room. A television is provided with several channels in English. The beds are extremely comfortable and we both slept like logs. It is Bed and Breakfast only. The Breakfast is substantial and aimed at the yeomanry of Sweden with plenty of carbohydrates to keep one working throughout the day. For the price this hotel is punching well above its weight. We have no hesitation in recommending it to others .

The hotel is super expensive and the price is not high, but there seems to be no other hotels available in the town. The breakfast was not bad, with salmon, it was the only one of the 7 hotels in Sweden (including Scandic, Marriott, etc.) that had salmon. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the hotel. I arrived at the hotel before eight in the evening. But when I politely asked the front desk about parking, the old gentleman told me that I can only park until 8 o'clock tomorrow morning and I must drive away to find another place, and I must go to a nearby supermarket to get a parking permit. So with doubts, we went to a nearby supermarket 150 meters away. The result, together with the supermarket attendants and local customers, was very strange, saying that parking in this small town is free for unlimited time. There is no parking permit in the supermarket. There is a free parking meter that can be put on the car. And this time counter is available in my car. Then he ignored the old man's request for parking. Checked out at ten o'clock the next day and found that other cars in the parking lot did not drive away. The rooms are so-so, with a somewhat antique feel. The appearance of the entire hotel is very ordinary, but the layout of the shop is very particular. There are classical paintings on the floor and many decorations that seem to be medieval. There is a church not far from the hotel entrance, as shown in the picture. The landmark Glip Castle is also within easy reach.

Rather tired hotel taken over by Best Western just a month ago. It is being refurbished and once completed will be lovely. The staff were amazing. We asked for a room over looking the car park and they went out of their way to help us. Very tasty breakfast. Only downside was the long walk to the parking area as no access to the back of the hotel.

Hotel in central location, with room for 4 people (with kitchen) taken on Expedia at a very good price. But just when they arrived, they told us that the room was no longer available (cause bad problems) and they suggested that we should be divided into two rooms always with kitchen use. And the rooms were not a lot, in fact.. The bathroom, for example, was flooded to every shower, making it almost unusable immediately afterwards. Furthermore, the cooking stuff was almost inexistent (we had to go out to eat). Wifi slow in the room. Breakfast is quite good, the only thing that is enough of the hotel.
