Best Bang Sai Hotels

I had requested my email review to be sent to Khun Tony (Thitipat) Suppattranont, the Founder and MD of Thann to thank him for his handwritten letter that was in our room when we checked in. We also noted that we could let him know if we had any feedback or comments. Unfortunately, he did not leave behind an email address or any contact information in the letter so I could not contact him directly with my suggestions. To-date, noone has acknowledged my email (it was sent twice on 24th & 30th Dec) so I am posting it here: Overall, we had a good stay, however there are several things I would like to mention, and I will list them in point form below: 1.    Good communications from Khun Milk prior to check-in: I had several questions about my booking (which I bought via Megatix) and she answered them promptly and suggested that we book our spa appointment on 22 Dec when we check in beforehand. 2.    Signs along the roads to Thann Wellness Destination were not visible enough. I missed the turn into the resort because the signs were too small. 3.    The check-in process was smooth and our bags were brought to our rooms whilst we went for our massage, our room was also ready at 12.30pm after we finished. 4.    The complimentary afternoon tea set was good but it was a pity that a wider variety of drinks were not available. I requested for hot green tea and was told that it was not included in the package and had an extra charge. We also asked if the fruit juices available were fresh juice and were told that they were not. It was a surprise that fresh juice was not available at a wellness resort. 5.    We attended the facial workshop after our afternoon tea and were excited to be able to try the various Thann products (we have not used them before). To me, this is a very good marketing tool to introduce Thann products to people new to them. My spouse loved the sunscreen and bought it after the workshop (the 10% discount was well appreciated). Unfortunately, the activity was conducted in Thai (we were given basic instructions on what to do) and we were not fully able to enjoy the full workshop experience. We were able to try some new products provided to us in our suite on the 2nd day (shampoo, conditioner, body butter, etc) and my spouse went back to buy the hair conditioner before we checked out as she loved it too. She also bought a pair of pants which she liked very much. I asked if there was a Thann loyalty program available for us to sign up but was told there wasn't. I was surprised as I googled online later and found out that there is a loyalty program available, perhaps only for customers at your retail stores. May I suggest that perhaps guests at the resort can be automatically signed up as members (if they aren't already) and offered some additional benefits for further stays or purchases. My spouse mentioned that she might try more Thann products in the future and this could be one way of attracting and retaining customers. 6.   Breakf

ที่พักเกาะส่วนตัวริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ที่ทำให้หลงรัก ต้องบอกเลยว่าสวยมากจริงๆ อยู่ไม่ไกลจากกรุงเทพฯเพียง1ชั่วโมง ก็ได้มาสัมผัสบรรยากาศดีๆวิวสวยๆแบบนี้ มาถึงก็พบกับ สะพานแดงข้ามคลองไปอีกฝั่ง เป็นจุดถ่ายรูปสุดปังที่ต้องมาถ่ายรูปสวยๆ เดินลงมาก็จะพบกับสระว่ายน้ำสีฟ้าพาสเทล บรรยากาศร่มรื่นน่าพักผ่อนเป็นอย่างมาก เราพักที่ห้อง River View Pool Villa Suite ภายในห้องตกแต่งได้ดีไซน์สวยงาม ดูอบอุ่น มีความมินิมอล สีขาวน้ำตาลดูสบายตา ด้านหลังห้องเป็น Pool Villa วิวแม่น้ำ ให้เราได้เพลิดเพลินจนไม่อยากออกไปไหน ในส่วนห้องน้ำก็ดูดีมากๆมีอ่างจากุชชี่ให้แช่ มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกให้ครบเลย รีสอร์ทยังมีให้ล่องเรือกลางแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ยิ่งช่วงเย็นชมวิวพระอาทิตย์ตกดินสวยมาก พร้อมกับรับประทานอาหารว่างบนเรือ มีของว่างให้ทานมากมาย ทั้งขนม น้ำ ผลไม้ เพลิดเพลินไปกับบรรยากาศริมฝั่งแม่น้ำ ช่วงเย็นรับประทานอาหาร ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาชิลๆ พร้อมบรรยากาศพระอาทิตย์ตก ทานอาหารอร่อยๆ เป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีและมีความสุขมากๆ มาถึงอยุทธยาแล้วต้องได้ลองทาน กุ้งแม่น้ำ เป็นกุ้งเนื้อแน่นตัวโตๆ พร้อมน้ำจิ้มรสเด็ด และอีกหลายเมนูให้เราได้สั่งมาทาน ส่วนอาหารเช้าก็ดีสุดๆ มีเมนูให้ทานเยอะมาก สามารถสั่งทานได้ตามใจชอบเลย มีทั้งข้าวมันไก่ ข้าวไข่เจียว ข้าวต้ม ผลไม้ ขนมปัง และอีกหลายเมนูมากๆ เป็นอาหารเช้าที่ดีต่อใจสุดๆ

The hotel is ok, but it is a bit far from the things.

Accommodation conditions are average. I came to work and slept at a fair price, so I didn’t bring many things, air-conditioner, transparent TV, water heater, good towels, shower gel, shampoo, 2 bottles of water, key insurance premium 100 per room, when can I get the wifi back, I don’t know Is there a hot spot in all private, not a restaurant here, good service, no noise, parking space, next to the river, nice view. But arriving late for work and leaving early, there is no time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

I would strongly advise against considering this establishment, as it fails to meet even the most basic expectations of hospitality. The proprietors appear disinterested and lackluster, displaying little enthusiasm for their role in the hospitality industry. It's evident that their primary motivation is financial gain rather than a genuine desire to provide a positive guest experience. The accommodations themselves are subpar, resembling more rustic wooden sheds than comfortable lodgings. They suffer from significant issues such as poor insulation, resulting in drafty conditions exacerbated by the inadequate and antiquated air-conditioning unit. Consequently, guests endure uncomfortably hot temperatures within the rooms. Furthermore, the lack of soundproofing means that external disturbances, particularly from the nearby river and passing boats, permeate the rooms at all hours, severely impacting the quality of sleep. The bedding provided is notably uncomfortable, with mattresses resembling solid rocks and pillows offering minimal support. Additionally, the unreliable Wi-Fi connectivity further compounds the dissatisfaction experienced by guests. Regrettably, the breakfast offerings are disappointingly inadequate, failing to meet even the most basic standards. Overall, staying at this establishment feels akin to roughing it out in a makeshift campsite rather than enjoying a comfortable and relaxing retreat. For those seeking a clean, tranquil, and comfortable environment with the warm and attentive hospitality typical of Thai culture, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Behind the wall there is a hidden oasis. This is a perfect hotel with amazing architecture and the best outlook. Room 4 and 6 have a great view over the river to the temple. The bar upstairs is very relaxing and great selection of cocktails. The cheesecake is so special. Breakfast or diner on the terrace just watching the river and the world go by is very relaxing. I love the little lounge nook with the pillows, just ideal for reading or surfing or snoozing. Staff service was perfect. I will be back.

The price is too high! The hotel is great. By the river, it is separated from the internet celebrity hotel Sala Ayutthaya. The environment does not lose it. Very Thai atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. Especially the uncle at the door, the service is so good I am embarrassed, the person is sincere and kind. Opposite the hotel is a temple with a particularly beautiful night view. The room is big enough and the bath water is strong. The bed is a big bed made of two beds, which does not affect. That is, the air conditioner is noisy, and light sleep will have some impact. The breakfast is a fruit buffet + a set menu, which is delicious. The nearby Thanam Viewing Restaurant has delicious dishes and the price is not expensive. Recommended stay
