The room is clean with a hot water heater, the breakfast is delicious and has a variety, it is close to tourist attractions, it is suitable for relaxation.
Sigh😮💨It’s really troublesome when encountering language barriers when going abroad. The counter staff was very patient in communicating at first, but then they didn’t seem to want to explain to us. They didn’t say that the minibar in their house was available. I asked the next day and was informed that there was no need to pay😓. The room is really beautiful. Everything else is just fine. Every waiter in the restaurant has a great attitude👍🏻

Cross River Kwai.
Luxury hotel in Kanchaburi.
Nice staff, good service, glorious view, and perfect decoration.
We stayed 1 night here (Type: X Float Luxe cabin) with complimentary snack bar, afternoon tea and bed time tea set.
Breakfast is buffet and taste is good.
Its location is really quite which is good for relax time.
If you checked in here, you will love it like we did.
The hotel is located on a quiet street. There is a fairly large and clean swimming pool. Comfortable large beds.
Nearby there is a restaurant on the river with the same name. Delicious food with a view of the river, at a very attractive price.
Near the pool there were also swings, there is an outdoor shower.
The breakfast is exquisite and delicious, the log feels good in the room, the green environment is good, the riverside restaurant has a good view, the green trees become cute, the scenery is good, the blue sky, green water and the air are good, the service is good, the hotel location is good, not many tourists are quiet and good , The elderly and children say yes.
The room is quite big, the security is also good, the parking is very convenient, and there is no parking fee. But the disadvantage is that the location is a bit off, there are only small stalls around you can eat, and there are not many.
It takes 10 minutes to walk to the Bridge on the River Kwai and 30 minutes to the night market and Kanchanaburi War Cemetery.
The location is neither far nor close. There is a swimming pool and the children had a lot of fun.
There is only one room card and the air conditioner will not be on all day.
The hotel is on the Kanchanaburi bypass road. Opposite Robinson Lifestyle Kanchanaburi, easy to find, convenient to travel. The rooms are a good size. Good view restaurant The food is diverse and tastes good. There is a cafe inside the hotel where people who are not staying can stop by and buy drinks.

KKurtisKurtisThe U Inchantree exceeded my expectations. The hotel grounds are spacious and well looked after. The deluxe room is very large and has all the modern amenities. Aircon worked well. Rain shower has good pressure.
Breakfast spread is good for the price. Many hot dishes as well as a made to order egg station.
Location is also just a stone's throw from the River Kwai bridge. Great stay overall.
AAlisa SookvisitIt's a 3-story townhome building, with 1 bedroom on each floor. There are bathrooms on every floor, very convenient. The bedrooms are clean and have all the equipment. There's a lot of drinking water available, great value.
LLennart HagenLovely hotel with a serene river view, clean rooms, and friendly staff. A perfect retreat. The breakfast buffet was decent but nothing out the ordinary. Still, would come back at any time
MMorcionOur stay at The Zeit River Kwai was fantastic! The hotel stands out with its excellent cleanliness and beautiful location right by the river. We were especially impressed by the friendly and attentive staff, who were always eager to meet our needs.
The breakfast was outstanding – diverse and very delicious. A small point for improvement would be clearing the tables, especially on weekends, as we found it difficult to locate a clean spot. During the weekdays, however, this service ran flawlessly, so we consider the minor weekend issue an exception.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would gladly return. Thank you to the entire team for the great service and pleasant atmosphere!
GGuest UserI had booked for one night, intending to leave for Bangkok early the next morning. At checkin, when informed by reception that there was a bus going to Erawan National Park, I decided to stay one more night.
The reception staff came out several times to ensure i caught the bus which i waved down right in front of the hostel. Really appreciate the care given by this staff member.
The point i wish to bring across in this post is, you can encourage the free and easy travellers to stay a day or two longer if there are places of interest within eady reach.
I had a wonderful day at the park and a most restful night at thd hostel. Highly recommended!
SSupasaintLocated about 7km north west of the town, the staff are all friendly and helpful. I have rented a small motorbike to get me around, a necessity which means I can go where and when I desire, small money so no problem!
Have been to the cemeteries and museums to pay my respect to ALL who suffered during those darkest of days. I have also been to the original wooden bridge constructed by the POW’s and others, it is located in the JEATH museum adjacent to the bridge that is in use these days. Entry cost 50 Baht, and there is so much to see that I took two hours inside, would recommend a morning visit so you can view the many items and read the facts behind them at your leisure.
The museum has been set up by a local man and is most definitely worth visiting. 100% value for money! I mentioned to a Thai man inside that we were so grateful that people around the area did try to ease the suffering of the POWs, risking their own necks by doing so.
My mother was an innocent child at 7 years old, alongside her mother and little sister she waved goodbye to her father, John Francis Egan, he said he was going to work for a while!! After working in Turkey, his ANZAC unit were moved on to Italy, to partake in one of the harder campaigns of the war. His life was taken by a German bullet at Mount Casino, alongside many many others!
Please understand how one can feel. I try my hardest to be non judgmental and tolerant these days. I have not walked in your shoes and do not know your story.
“Footsteps in the sand” comes to mind at this moment. I have PTSD myself, and I knew coming to Kanchanaburi may get emotional, and it has.
Now my mother is 88 years young, and became a great grandma for the second time two weeks ago. Apologies if it got too personal, started as a review of the Phoo Tawan hotel.
Words are insufficient, our gratitude to all who risked their own lives and those that paid the ultimate price.
Life is precious, please enjoy the moment.
Peace, love and joy to all who inhabit this world.
ONE LOVE
JJay BrazThe place is gorgeous, I had a room very clean and tidy, and the services for housekeeping are great. The place is amazing also for couples , breakfast was good, they need to do something with the Flys 🪰, but not a big deal. I been by myself. It's about 14km to the Kwai Bridge (Center), from there you can take the train or have a tour from the resort. If you wanna to have a taxi from the resort to the center in the evening, it's a bit hard to take, I recomend to ask for a motorcycle.
DDonドニTraveling with friends but it's rainy so we stay longer and enjoy the facility. Amazed with the place, and love it. We play at the pools (yes, more than 1 pool) and continue taking pictures at the river. Well, everything was so good, but the fly at the resto during breakfast. Probably, because it is the rainy season, but I believe technology can answer.
Got lost at night on the way to the resort since Google Map sent us at the wrong track just next to the entrance. It was scary and dangerous. Hope it can be fixed?
杨杨逸麟Worth a visit and stay overnight here, the cat is cute, the view of the lake also is fantastic.
Also there are some tips that you'd better check in before the night time, otherwise the dog of the owner may scared you at night 🤣 But the owner will come out if the dog barking. And just like most of the other hotel, you need to bring your own toothbrush, shampoo and hairdryer.
In front of the guesthouse is a ww2 factory, they say will be a museum in the future, and some historical old wall hundred years ago which was used to agonist Mymmar invader
