Best Koh Chang Hotels

A beautiful location hotel, the room is nice ,directly on the beach, however you can hear all noises from the neighbour room. If you come here you have a fantastic experience of a vacation .

On the last day of staying in Koh Chang, the location was good. There was a buffet 100 meters away. Many people ate at night. The room was smaller than the other hotels I stayed before. . Although you can see the sea near the hotel, there is no beach at the hotel. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach of Kabe. You need to go around the road. There are many narrow cars. It's almost the same as a big hotel, it's worth it.

Great location ...have been here twice, so happy enough. Rooms are a bit outdated and need a revamp..particularly the beach villas which are small and very dated....new showers and bathroom required...new interior for tue rooms needed. Breakfast ok, pool small, UT the beach is right there... Happy hours for the bar would attract more salethanks

We have spent 6 nights in Santhiya Tree Koh Chang, even though it's rainy season, we still LOVE it there! Design: we stay at the Pool Suite Water View, almost whole building made by carved wood, traditional Thai design and lots of character, looks very beautiful & classic. Staffs: very friendly and excellent service Pools: 60m long pool at the breakfast restaurant with some seats facing the pool & peaceful mountain view. Another pool right in front of the beach & close to the villas. Both pools clean & big. Santhiya Tree use pa kao ma thai sarong as beach towel, love it! Food: delicious buffet breakfast & lots of variety. Food & drinks at the Chantara Restaurant is high quality & very yummy. The duo who sings at the restaurant are brilliant singers, you won't get bored with their performance. Room: spacious & clean, lots of electric plugs & even beach bag for use. They burn lemongrass/ citronella oil in the bathroom to keep mozzies away & room smells good. Massage at their spa: very good & reasonable price, sound of the waves makes the massage so relaxing, must try. Shuttle bus to main street: every 2 hrs they can drop you or pick up from main street as there resort is not at the road side. Not sure if it's because of low season, hope the shuttle service can be more frequent. Thank you everybody at Santhiya Tree Koh Chang for the great service and smiles. Will definitely come back for another holiday and highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic place to stay! This beautiful place takes your stress away :) P.S. there's a small part of the road right outside the resort leading to the entrance is unsealed with lots of potholes, pretty bumpy for cars and their shuttle bus, suggest Santhiya Tree do something with it.

First time book this hotel but many time visited koh chang. Hotel location is not really good in term of beach area. It is in between the exit point of a small cannel so whenever i want to get to the sea, i need to walk to the near by hotel to enter the cleaner water. Staff and service are excellent. Breakfast quality is pretty decent compare to other hotels that im visiting.

The breakfast in the hotel is average, but the sea view is not bad. In the small house on the second floor, there will be elephants passing by the sea around 4pm, and you can ride an elephant for a fee. The beach on the seaside is quite fine. If you have good water quality, you can consider putting on a life jacket to swim to the opposite island in the morning. I heard that you can rent a boat at the hotel to ski over. Even after the late rising tide, it’s too far and tired. After going out from the hotel to the main convenience store, there is a restaurant that is delicious and cheap.

Professional service. Maybe the hotel is a little smaller. The few days I went with my wife there were hardly any customers. . . Exclusive access to the rooftop swimming pool. . . . . Very cool. . . Hahaha

The environment of the hotel is good and cost-effective, the breakfast is rich, and the scenery is watched while eating, it is very beautiful, it is close to the beach but can not swim, and it is 5 minutes drive from the lonely beach. The internal facilities of the room are better. The price of meals at the entrance is cheaper than Baishatan. There is no 711, but there are small shops opened by locals. There is a 200B a day for renting motorcycles opposite the hotel. The fuel is not included. It is very close to the pier to the sea, and the hotel is relatively close to the bangbao fishing village.

The rooms are ok, although quite old. The resort is far from the pier but compensates by being next to the sea and having a quiet atmosphere. Overall, it is considered more than worth the price of hundreds of baht for tourist attractions on a long holiday like this.

I want to talk about this unusual hotel experience: I booked a round-trip ticket from Bangkok Airport to Koh Chang. It was said that it was delivered to the hotel. In fact, it can only be delivered to Lonely Beach. The road behind is not included. We took a Texi (similar to tu tu) 100B per person from Lonely Beach to the hotel. At the fork in the road, the driver put us down and pointed to the sign of the hotel on the side of the road and said, ”Go into this path.” So we were very happy, thanked the driver and walked on the side road. After walking five hundred meters, we started to feel silly. We felt like we had walked into a village. Except for the trees on both sides, there were occasional houses. The more we walked in, the more fearful we got. On the way, a villager on a motorcycle came to talk to us and asked where we were going. (Don't dare to talk nonsense, the guide says that you can't talk to passers-by, but you can't help but say, I don't know if the driver has been tricked) The villagers said that they would go a long way, and shook their heads and left. How could the hotel be far away? I don’t believe it, it can’t be seen from the map. We decided to continue walking, and asked another villager in the middle, or we should continue walking. I dragged my luggage for almost one kilometer, but I haven't found it yet. The more I walk in, the more fearful it is. At this time, an old man riding a three-wheeled motorcycle showed up and told us to get in his car and take us there for free. We were even more scared – old man? Tricycle? free? (Mom said that she can't talk to strangers) Not daring to go, a blond ghost girl driving a car came and asked where we were going. After talking to the old man, she told us to get into the old man's car. Come on, he seems to be in his 60s and 70s. We are very good that he should be able to fight him before. If I can't, I will pose and say I will scare him with Chinese Kung Fu. So we got on his tricycle, and the car drove up a small slope. The downhill was a small road with many monkeys running in the middle of the road. This frightened us both. Mama, how can we hide from the monkey~ My face turned blue, Just about to say something, the car stopped. The old man pointed to the front roof and said: Go down, this house is. It doesn't look like a black shop, but finally here? ! It seems to be here... I stuffed the old man with 40B and walked down quickly. Damn-I finally found you, luckily I didn't give up! Closer to home, the hotel faces the sea, spring flowers bloom, and the environment is very good! The breakfast is super delicious, comparable to the five-star hotels in Australia, and it is delicious and delicious. The hotel has a free car at a fixed time every day to take guests to Bangbao Fishing Village. It's best to rent a motorcycle, it's a bit inconvenient to get in and out.
