Best Izzetpasa Mahallesi Hotels

Magical! THE very best hotel we stayed during a 14 day around a Turkey trip. We are only staying for one night in Safranbolu so we chose to stay in one of the iconic Ottoman houses and that was a good decision. Walkable to the museum and shops on pebbled street. We felt like living in history. All the period features has been very carefully preserved. So many things to look at and appreciate, the wooden windows, the fabric, the metal clutches and the heavy key. What amazed us is how useable of these historic items. The door just closes itself very smoothly and locks with a satisfying clunck. The bedding is super comfy with high count weave of cotton and goose down pillows. The bathroom is sufficiently modernised. Everywhere around the house and garden is a framable picture. Love how the decorations are put in place. Not too busy or too instagrammable but relaxed and artistically arranged. We had an amazing stay and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Asam guided us from the car park and carried our luggage up the stairs and showed us the cool wine cellar. Sofia’s breakfast is delicious with the best home made saffron jam and ginger jam and apricot jam. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family if they are visiting Safranbolu. Also the classical music in the garden is a nice touch!

Для желающих пройти пешком надо от автостанции идти вдоль большой дороги до ущелья, где начинается старый город, спуститься вниз до места, где написано, что в 1994 году Шафранболу вошел в список Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО, оттуда направо и пройти по старым улицам еще минут 5-7. Итого до автостанции около получаса, до смотровой площадки и каньона - чуть больше часа. Отель расположен в историческом центре, местность очень холмистая, город пересекает угрожающего вида ущелье. Старый дом в традиционном стиле, на выбор предложили большую и более нарядную комнату с тремя окнами во двор, но там три больших окна и зимой холодно-холодно, к тому же там ванная не в номере, а дверь по соседству в холле, и маленькую, с окнами на улицу, но теплее, и с собственной ванной. Слышимость абсолютная, все, что происходит на улице, слышно, но людей там ходит по зиме мало, слышно только местных собак на улице и поскольку напротив стоит мечеть, то ее. Маленькая ванная, полы холодные, поэтому в ванной стоят тапки, но я вожу свои. В номере нет чайника, если надо, хозяйка сама сделает и принесёт, что сначала казалось очень неудобным, потом привыкли и было очень мило пить чай из термоса. Супермаркета в историческом городе нет, есть небольшие лавки. В новом городе (полчаса пешком наверх) есть уже и супермаркеты, и аптеки, и кебабные. Видимо, до нас в номере давно никто не жил и в первую ночь было очень холодно, впрочем, мы сразу вытащили из шкафа большое одеяло из овечьей шерсти и спать под ним было тепло. Потом батарея нагрела комнату и в ней было уж комфортно находиться. Боялась, что будет не хватать горячей воды в душе, но ограничений, судя по всему, нет. На фото ванной виды бронзовые краны - как потом увидели в городском музее, это старинные краны в этой местности. Завтрак с 8.30,хозяйка накрывает внизу традиционный. Как только сели, тут же несет чайник и яичницу на сковородке. Вообще в доме жили одни, хозяйка тоже очень милая. Город маленький и очень приятный, три дня гуляли по нему, один день выезжали в город Кастамону. У дома есть небольшой сад, наверное, там особенно хорошо весной-осенью. Дом застелен половиками, старинной утварью, ходишь по нему как по музею. С удовольствием приедем еще раз!

As far as this homestay is concerned, the operator is a family of three, the male owner is responsible for communication, and the hostess is responsible for cooking. We stayed for two nights and the hostess told us that the next day's breakfast was 9 o'clock. She may be shy? ? The host does not speak English, and even the bread bread does not understand, but he will use the mobile phone to translate the app very actively to communicate with us. The breakfast was very good. Although there was no meat, it could be seen that the boss and his wife had spent a lot of thought on it, with pictures as evidence. The delicious breakfast here has more or less appeased my angry experience (referred below). The overall family atmosphere, the news broadcast will be broadcast during breakfast in the morning, and we will come back in the evening to see their family of three eating and show the cartoons to their five-year-old son. The downside was that something had nothing to do with accommodation: the boss recommended us on our first day of arrival to see the glass platforms and caves on the nearby mountains, and called the taxi driver who knew him. But the owner refused to tell us the price, and asked the driver to tell us that the driver drove out a long way to say the price. It was about the 2-hour package price of 1,000 lira fare (no watch). But the first attraction was not opened due to the power outage, and we stayed for 10 minutes for the second attraction. From getting in a taxi to getting out of the taxi, it took less than an hour, and the driver finally insisted on receiving 1,000 liras. Later, when I returned to the hotel, I told the boss about this. He also checked with the driver that these things did happen. He said that the driver received a high price. The local travel agency included a car guide meal and it was only 60 euros. He could not let his tenants be treated like this. I will definitely tell the driver that this thing will be given to me again. A reply, but he didn't mention this until the moment of check-out, I don't know what a blend between them.

Guldali otel konum itibariyle çok güzel bir yerde.otelde yedi oda bulunmakta. Ailecek çok rahat ettik. Aile odası tek oda. İçinde duş ve ayrı bir wc si var. İki tek kişilik yatak birleştirilmiş. Büyük bir çift kişilik yatak oluyor. Oda da birde sedir var iki kişi rahat yatabiliyor. Yalnız odada buzdolabı veya mini bar yok. Gelecek olanlar bunu gözönüne alsınlar. Tüm otel için bir buzdolabi var ama herkes koyarsa yetersiz olabilir. Ama su ve çay ücretsiz. İşletenler güler yüzlü. Eksik ihtiyaçları giderme konusunda yardımcı oluyorlar. Biz kahvaltı dahil kaldık. Kahvaltısı oldukça doyurucu. Serpme kahvaltı. Safranbolu konaklarında bir tatil ayrıcalığı da ayrı bir güzeldi. Teşekkürler

Cocuklu aileler icin muhtesem bir mekan. Geniş bahcesi icerisinde yer alan tavsan ve köpek cocuklar icin muhtesem oluyor. Sadece besiginizi yaninizda getirmelisiniz. Onun disinda harika bir mekan ben yine olsa yine giderim tam tarihi carsinin merkezinde. Carsiyi guzelce gezip hemen otele gecebiliyorsunuz. En buyuk endişem 1.5 yasindaki cocugunu nasil oyalayacagim konusuydu sagolsunlar mekan ve hayvanlar yeteri kadar oyaladi cocugumu

It would be nonsense to come to Safranbolu and stay in a normal hotel. They restored the old mansions and turned them into hotels. There is such a hotel in Yorgancıoğlu Mansions, the rooms have been restored with woodworking, originality intact, the staff are completely family employees, they are all friendly.
