I am also deducting the upgrade fee in an empty hotel and I am still thinking about it. I wish you had mentioned the interesting explanation that “this is a boutique hotel, you can stop by while passing by, stay for two nights at most, people usually prefer this” in the explanations before making a reservation when we first talked to your hotel. In other words, we felt quite stupid. Unfortunately, it was a bad experience, a place I cannot recommend. The coffees and colors of the hotel were very nice.
