Wwv12345We stayed here in August if 2024 after bailing on a cruise that got caught in Hurricane Debby in Tampa. Decently priced oceanfront hotel. The place has everything you need for a beach trip. All rooms have a balcony and view of the ocean. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a great view of the beach and pools. There is a giant main pool, large hot tub, kiddie pool, and giant lazy river. There was also a splash park. There are a couple restaurants. The beachfront grill has really good food. We ate the grouper platter about three days in a row. It is really expensive though. We spent about $100.00 for lunch each day. There is an inside restaurant that has a coffee bar and paid breakfast. We had the coffee. It is also really expensive. Rooms were ok, nothing wrong with them. Just normal wear and tear from a beach hotel. Would stay again.
GGuest UserAn amazing stay at Home2Suites in Panama City FL! We booked a queen bedroom suite. Upon walking into the front doors to check in, a fresh ocean aroma greets you. The scent reminded me of the Polynesian resort at WDW. Everything was clean and brand new! The beds slept amazingly well and the kitchenette was so nice to have during our three day stay.
Breakfast is complimentary—waffles with all the toppings you could want, sausage, omelets, cereal and oatmeal. Coffee served all day, which was a win! Overall, a ten out of ten. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to PCity.
Cchristine85To start, this hotel is across the street from the beach. They require valet parking. The hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms were nice but we had to keep the air conditioner on the lowest setting. We did have a balcony room with a beach view but the traffic was noisy so I wouldn’t suggest spending money on the balcony. We were given a number to text for the valet 10-15min ahead of time to bring our car around and not once was it ever brought to us by the time we got downstairs. Its is convenient to restaurants and Pier Park. The pool as very nice. I probably wouldn’t stay here again bc of the road noise and not being true ocean front. The staff were all very nice. The breakfast lines weren’t very long but the free drink line was usually pretty long.
CCruise292Great trip! We stayed in unit 523 ,on the 22nd through 26th of Sept. 2022, there was an elevator just steps from our door and made it very convenient for my wife and Me to get to the pool “exited right by pool entrance and very close to beach access. There was a hot breakfast every morning , eggs, pancakes , and biscuits and gravy, which was very nice. All the staff we encountered were very courteous and friendly. They had activities for kids and adults at the pool area. Housekeeping was provided every day, they were very friendly. There was a daily extra resort fee of about $15.00 we had to pay upon arrival. Overall The Days Inn at PCB was a Great a stay. Would book again.
GGuest UserBeachfront hotel, on a beautiful beach. Check-in was a little slow. Our room was ok, but functional, with an amazing ocean view balcony. Nice, uncrowded pool, the pool over looks the ocean & just steps to the amazing beach & ocean. Rooftop sun deck, on top of the small bar & grill. Amazing sunsets during our visit. When we stayed here, it was not crowded. Easy, free, beach sides parking, for hotel guest.
I have read all the reviews and had mixed feelings. However i am pleased to say don't believe everything you read. The Tiki and Sno-cone stations are closed but only temporarily. They are awaiting their license(Not a big deal). Towels and Supplies were not abundant in the room however I had no problems getting them from the staff after asking. Staff was super friendly and eager to make things great. I will certainly be back. Prices are higher than years in the past but so is everything and everywhere else.
GGuest UserStayed because we were only in town two nights and were not going to be in the place other than to sleep and shower. The staff was the best thing about the hotel. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, polite and accommodating. Rooms were ”surface” clean (clean sheets and counters) but in need of a deep cleaning and updating. For instance, a huge hole in the bathroom wall and a desk chair that should have been in the garbage bin years ago! We did have a problem with the hotel giving another guest a key to our room after midnight! Luckily, we had the dead bolt locked. But even through there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and the door was locked from inside, this guy was bound and determined to get in the room. He was trying to knock the damn door down! We woke up to a crash that made us both, literally jump out of bed! Sounded and felt like a car crashed into the building! I went to the closed door and through it told him he had the wrong room. He asked if I could open the door a crack because his key was stuck in the door. I said ”No, go to the front desk”. He asked again, I told him no way I was opening the door and to go back to the front desk!! I called the desk, but no one answered. The next morning, when I left the room to get breakfast (which was ok at best) I found the key stuck in the door frame. He was trying to jimmy the lock!! When I grabbed the card the light on the door pad turned green. It was a key to open our room. I went to the front desk and explained what happened. They checked the computer and said it had our room as being vacant. I told them we'd been they for two nights. They apologized, but that was it. Grabbed breakfast and got out of there. Also, the first night they had little league teams staying there, running up and down the halls yelling and banging on doors! So, both nights we were woken up after midnight. Again, it is a budget hotel, and I knew that going in. It wasn't the first time staying in one and probably won't be my last. But surely two nights will be my limit, anything more than that I'll splurge for a better place.
SStacey PennyI was very disappointed with my stay in this hotel. I paid $100 more than I would have liked to pay for the room. I also paid $40 for breakfast. Once I got to the hotel, I found out that breakfast was free. The free breakfast consisted of a plain bagel, yogurt, a honey bun, or a banana. The room was clean but the bathroom door was missing the latch on the handle, so it wouldn’t shut. The volume button didn’t work on the remote for the tv. The pool the hotel advertises is a tiny pool. Only an 8’x10’, at a max of 5’ deep. Overall, not worth all the money I paid.
Jjillbrad52I was trying to find an affordable hotel for vacation and even though this one still seemed overpriced, I went ahead and hoped for the best. Upon check in, I noticed that the staff gave me a reused card holder and during Coronavirus pandemic, that just seemed like a big no-no to me, but I moved past it. I went to the hotel room and tested the door only to find out that the chain had been removed and the deadbolt also unlocked with a key. I had to go buy an alarm for the door since it was so sketchy. The sheets smelled like they were never changed- stank beyond belief. The room wasn’t swept or mopped and we had to wear shoes unless we wanted the bottom of our feet to turn black from the nastiness on the floor. The day after we checked in, we had room service come in (which we didn’t want but there was no do not disturb sign available), and after we got back, my Birkenstock’s had been moved as if someone had tried them on. GROSS. The second night we stayed there, a couple of men were arguing and threatening each other outside our room for HOURS. The point that terrified me the most was when one man claimed to have a gun as a way to scare the other one. Keep in mind, the door is crap and barely locks. The next morning, I had my boyfriend shove everything we had into the suitcase and take everything to the car. When I went to the lady at the front desk and tried to check out and ask for a refund I was met with attitude and skepticism. She said to me “you checked in two days ago and you’re just now feeling unsafe?” With a look on her face. I said “I felt unsafe the first night I got here but last night was the last straw.” I asked for the refund and she said she would have to talk to her manager, which I’m pretty sure means no and she just wanted to get me out faster. I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.
