Pros: Loved the size of the two queen suite with sofa / trundle bed. Beds comfortable. Room temperature was good. Breakfast standard fare, but plentiful with eggs, toast, bacon. Cons: Pool hours 11-8pm seem designed so that pool can't be used given the checkout is 12pm and check in is 4pm. Very disappointing. Also, the incidental charge is $100, which I found steep and unnecessary for a quick overnight. If in area again, I would rule this hotel out, but I'd consider a hotel with longer pool hours.
The hotel is on the highway side, because it is early in the morning, I feel that the surrounding safety factor is not particularly high, there are some people strolling in the corridor, but the overall feeling is also ok, the room is very big and clean, driving from the dc city is also ten A few twenty minutes or so. The price of more than 50 knives is still relatively cost-effective.

We stayed at this nice clean and friendly hotel for the convenience to attend a graduation at Howard University in Washington, DC. We were given room 402, a room with two beds, mini microwave, mini refrigerator, a full length mirror, and a tub and shower combination in the bathroom, work desk, but there is NO personal safe in the room, and the closet is very small, however it does have an iron and board in it. This Hotel is conveniently close to a lot of stores and places to eat and get food, and is very close and convenient to Washington DC. The hotel has a complimentary business center down in the lobby area, and a small fitness center, but there is NO swimming pool on the property. The staff throughout this hotel were all friendly and looking to help accommodate their guests. They had a black board at the front desk that welcomed all Platinum and returned guests by name, which was a warm welcome to do, and they also have some special parking spots for platinum guests, and there is plenty of good complimentary parking on the property for all guests as a whole. We felt safe in the area of this hotel and on their property. The complimentary breakfast was very nice with enough good items to choose on having and leaving content, and the foods were all fresh and they kept everything well stocked, and there was plenty of good seating in their dining area. We truly enjoyed our short stay at this hotel and we would absolutely consider to stay at this hotel again if we are in the area for any overnight stays.
After getting off at the china town station, the yellow line subway huntington direction terminal huntington got off for 15 minutes or Uber 8 knife to the hotel, it was quite convenient, but the last few stops of the subway have been closed until September. All can only get off at the pentagon city station and take the free shuttle bus to Huntington's transfer point. It takes half an hour to drive, so it is not convenient. If it is not the hotel in the summer vacation, the hotel is soaring, or staying in the city.
Great location! There are so many restaurants right around the block on King Street. This is a very nice hotel. An oldie but goodie. Very large atrium where you can sit and enjoy the included breakfast every morning. VIP happy hour was perfect. We would definitely stay there again. Clean and friendly.
After reading some mixed reviews, we still decided to spend 4 Nights in this Fairfield Inn. We were not disappointed and can recommend staying here. Room was clean, Bathroom too. Only the fridge turned out to be freezer, even Housekeeping could not convince him not to freeze everything we put inside. Breakfast selection was good, Parking ample and Internet access fairly fast. We would stay here without hesitation. Btw, the Metro station is 5 Minutes away by Car, with lot‘s of Space. The Parking rate is lower when using the Metro prepaid Card, check their website.
The location is great: Walking distance to Metro station and King St. The gentleman at front desk took the time to explain to me how to get to interesting places, and even repeated twice on how to get to the free shuttle for King St. The room is spacious and elegant. The full kitchen is well equipped and shiny. I like that the sink is outside of the shower and toilet room. No problem with hot water. Parking is easy with direct access to my floor. Definitely a great hotel to return to!
Glad we stayed here. The hotel was immaculate. The bell staff always opened the door for us and greeted us each time we walked in. The elevators were super fast and the room was exceptional. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was perfect for the visit. The restaurant was not too bad and the only thing is I normally do not like to leave the car with a valet but they were fast and friendly. You text them and they reply an give you a time to come get the car. Make sure you have some money handy as they do overwhelm you and begin to grab bags and park the car. I was unprepared and had to remember who to tip later on in the visit. The room air was perfect and the visit was fantastic.
