Single-family villa B&B, with a total of about ten rooms on two floors
Itâs very convenient to take Uber from the airport in about 20 minutes within 15 miles.
Check-in is very convenient and simple. You can unlock the room with the password and enter the room directly.
The breakfast is quite rich, and there are milk drinks in the small refrigerator.
The surrounding environment is also very good, there are squirrels in the yardđż

Originally a mansion for a mining baron, the building fell into disrepair until an architect purchased and restored it. The mansion is absolutely beautiful and full of history and antiques. I shared the âEnchanting Turretâ room with my older sister. The beds were far enough away that we were afforded ample privacy. The owner, Sheila, lives on the grounds and was a gracious host, offering both hospitality and valued advice about the area. On top of everything, itâs in a great area close to both restaurants and the airport. I give this establishment my highest recommendation.

I stayed here again for the however many time. Too many to forget. Still no issues and I enjoyed the hot tub this evening which is nice. The pool is right next to it so I just went back and forth between the two of them enjoying the experience of going in and out until I was finished.. I finished out in the hot tub because it was so hot.. I actually wanted a round two but the first one was so explosive it satisfied my needs. Great place to release some stress.

Doors were locked and entrance is on the back door
You take a shower and there is yes a shampoo! And the second bottle you think is body wash⊠no body cream! Well you are in the shower already! After shower you want to brush your teeth right?
Wrong! There no such a toothbrush nor toothpaste, well ⊠after you look everywhere you see a sticker in the bathroom in small writing that says it you need any toiletries such as toothpaste toothbrush shower cup ⊠you should go to the front desk and ask for what you need!
So Iâm naked just came out from the shower already mad for not finding the body washâŠ. And now I need to go downstairs to the front desk naked to get the toothbrush?

GGUOLII like to live in Springhill mainly because children like to have a sofa bed inside, they can have their own independent space, husband likes to have free parking space, I like the breakfast inside. But this house has no meatloaf or sausage, but fried potatoes are also very good.

GGuest UserThe hotel was clean and in a great location for the reason I was in Birmingham. It was near to the event that I was attending. The sink in my room had a stopper that prevented the water from escaping when I did not want it to collect in the sink during activities such as brushing my teeth and washing my face. The water was also cold and took an excessively long time to heat up even a little bit. It was not even lukewarm. Therefore, I checked out and was unable to shower. My son actually took a cold shower on a cold day, one of the coldest that we have had in Alabama in a while. I was also awakened by an emergency message and alarm to vacate the building due to an emergency only to learn later that it was a test. I learned this when the fire truck arrived and I heard an employee apologizing for not calling them to let them know that it was only a test. I only stayed overnight so there was no other opportunity for me to get a better impression. The only reason that I did not give a lower rating for the facilities is because once I reported the issue with the shower and sink, they sent a handy man to the room to make the repairs, but my son was already taking a cold shower at the time since we were scheduled to get back home to meet previously scheduled obligations. The staff person who was checking me out said that she couldn't do anything for me because I booked through a third party. However, she did state that she would refund the money that I paid for parking.

GGuest UserRoom was nice. Nothing special. Did not see any vending machines with pop and went to front desk where they had a small shelf with few items. Had bottled water but no pop also noticed they had other items to sell but was also out. We just needed a place to stay on our way further south and it worked fine for us. Was a little difficult to find the hotel but that could have been the map on the phones. Desk person was nice. Heard her speaking to a few people while we were checking in and seemed pleasant to them all

AAnonymous UserWe wanted to stay in Irondale rather than Birmingham and although this property didn't have great or CURRENT reviews,the description said that it was renovated in 2024 and no other property had a better review. It was indeed updated in some areas and our room was very nicely appointed with new upholstery and modern furniture but it was not clean. There was a layer of dust (construction?) on EVERYTHING and long, dark hairs on the bathroom floor. The window glass was filthy. The freezer was so in need of defrosting that the door would not shut and we were unable to refreeze our flat ice packs. I would guess that no one has stayed in the room since the renovation and the room had not received a post-construction cleaning. The elevator was very dirty,noisy, and a bit scary to ride to the 4th floor. The regular clientele is obviously traveling construction workers. Staff was very friendly but unprofessional.

GGuest UserGreat service for what little I needed. Room was clean. Bed was alright. Only hang-up was the LG TV wouldn't turn on after usage (which is a common problem with LG TVs). Probably needs replacing. I would stay again.

ććThere is a parking lot. Opposite the hotel is a big Mall. Hotel location is quite good. When you check in, you can ask your room to be on the side of the road that faces the road. In fact, it is noisy at night because there are trucks that come in and out all night.
