Got a deluxe kind room. Room size was OK but bathroom was small. The bathtub was small and the vent didn't work. They couldnt do anything about the vent and didn't have another option for room change. We ended up sleeping in a muggy room. They offered a fan but that would of just pushed the miggyness around with no windows to open or we would have to leave the door open which I was not comfortable with. Had a few ants in the drain of the sink and rust around the bathroom door so I'm not sure how long the vent hasn't been working. Food was OK but over expensive and I tried different mix drinks and didn't have a large selection and didn't like them. If you need a spot to rest it's fine but for my anniversary night I was not a fan.

I am writing this review to praise James Thomas, one of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Boise, Idaho managers, who was amazing. He solved a number of problems for us, and really saved our stay. I can't say enough good things about James Thomas. He is an exceptional employee who is dedicated to providing top customer service, to solving whatever guest problems that arise, and working tirelessly on behalf of the guests. I have stayed at a variety of Hilton properties, and James Thomas is by far the best guest services Hilton employee that I have ever seen. Thank you, Bruce Hubbard Hilton Honors Member.

The associates that work at this hotel are amazing! Sylvia was so helpful with helping get my laundry done. They sent it out and back that afternoon. I also needed to buy items on Amazon and they hand delivered the packages to my room. This is the best service I have ever had in Boise. I will be staying every trip to Boise about every 6 weeks.

I stayed at this hotel on 2/8 for business. I travel regularly but usually stay with another hotel chain. However, Boise was almost completely booked for the night. When I got to my room I noticed the sink was dirty. There was a pink ring around the bottom. The hand towel had a huge yellow stain on the front side that you could see across the room. The toilet had black mold streaks in the bowl, pee under the seat and clearly had not been cleaned. When I asked to change rooms I was told there was nothing available but someone would clean the room while I went to dinner. When I came back from dinner the room had not been cleaned AND the comforter and sheets had been pulled back on one side. I again asked for a new room and was told there was nothing they can do. I asked to speak with the General Manager the next morning but she was not available. I asked for a phone call and heard nothing. This hotel is filthy and the employees do not care about the guest experience. A direct quote from the night manager ”If my room looked like yours there is no way I would stay there”.... yet they did nothing about it. RUN, dont walk as far away as you can from this hotel. Even Motel 6 might be better.

I was in town for medical appointments and tests that spanned over two days and I was treated with dignity and respect by all staff. The breakfast was wonderful and greatly appreciated and the night staff was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be staying here again.

We had a great time thanks to Delilah up there at the front desk saving the day after the elderly woman messed up our reservation (and tbh, was quite fake and actually pretty rude) W e were all a bit flustered but her bright energy and humor brought a wave of relief to the group. She was incredibly helpful and gave us some great suggestions for places to eat in the area. Thanks again Delilah!

I thoroughly enjoyed my four night stay at this property. Rocco (see photo) checked me in on arrival, was extremely welcoming, and continued to provide excellent customer service during my entire stay when he was on duty at the front desk. He also had great recommendations and provided really helpful information each time I made a request of him. Thanks Rocco! Everyone I came in contact with at this hotel was well trained, accommodating, and enjoyable to talk to, including at the front desk, eating area, and housekeeping. Excellent location near Boise State University, two large parks, several museums, and the river. But, really, only an 8 to 10 minute walk to the middle of downtown which I visited frequently during my stay. Free parking in a large parking lot was a plus . The facility itself has a nice enough lobby area, an excellent breakfast, particularly the omelettes each morning, and tasty coffee available at no charge throughout the day. Flavored water, infused with fruit, in the lobby was a nice touch. My room was on the third floor and the elevator service was fine. Room was decent size with a king bed that had a very comfortable mattress and pillows. Good hot water in the shower. Nice TV. Excellent desk that had a swing out arm to provide extra space. That was a welcome addition to the room. Comfortable couch too. Small pool and exercise room, which I did not use. There is a hot tub also, but it was out of service for at least part of the stay. Well managed, nice property. Thanks!

The front-desk lady, Ocean, created an amazing welcome for us, going to a lot of trouble for very road-weary travelers. She offered information and asked questions about our needs, and voluntarily gave us all the information we needed to have a pleasant stay. Ocean was so kind. Our room also was clean and pleasant. The breakfast had good selection…eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy…cereals, waffles, breads, muffins, fruit, juices and coffee…all good! The room rate was a good deal that’s why we booked there. If rates were higher we would not stay there.

This 76 is not ”soup to nuts” but is a good choice for the area. They have a foundation of amenities for people like truckers... specifically they have a great laundry room, areas to park rigs, rooms that are small, but reasonably appointed. I will describe two experiences that IMO cancel out and make this place a very good alternative for this area. They were doing door renavations and it was done half assed. Smoke filled the rooms, no barrier... Just a mess. Their justification was that each room took 20 minutes. It should have been done more professionally with a barrier put up. On the other hand, this place has a great pet policy, in an area that has multiple establishments that gouge pet owners... with fees of 20 bucks per a dog, per a night! * This place has a decent price point and the staff is pleasant to deal with. On the whole I love 76 establishments as a kind of ”hail mary” where, even if you didn't book with a 3rd party, you can get a room at a decent price that is clean. *Keep in mind that @20 dollers a pet, you are paying around 50-80 bucks a room! The pet fee should not be 1/3rd the price of the room! That would be like getting a Denny's meal for 45 bucks and having a 15 dollar tip automatically added.

SSandy97267I rarely write reviews but couldn't stop this one. First, picture of room isn't even remotely the room you're gonna get. We picked a king smoking room. We got a king bed, and I will say it appeared clean and was comfortable. But don't look too closely at the carpet, curtains, walls, tables, chairs, etc. The toilet wobbled horribly, there was an exposed outlet behind the tiny tv and a poster covering the access hole under the sink. The carpet had horrible stains and the curtain actually gave me nightmares. But we were exhausted and the bed seemed very comfortable. We got there after 10pm and there were ZERO parking spots because the SUV in front of our room parked in 2 spaces. The front desk lady was incredibly nice and moved her car for us but that's about the best part of the room. The hotel was FILLED with loud, unruly teenagers skateboarding in the parking lot, screaming and hollering. They started yelling again at around 6am too. It's in the heart of downtown just a few blocks from the hospital so all night we heard sirens on top of the yelling. Needless to say, we were exhausted and slept but got out of there early.
