Did I spend roughly $50 (pre-tax & tip) on a lobster roll and a glass of prosecco? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. I'm going to touch on other aspects of my stay, but I can't believe how many fresh tasting, big, succulent chunks of lobster were in this hotel lounge lobster roll. It's cold & mayo based, which I know isn't for everyone (I see you got buttered lobster roll people and I understand completely; I'm just an equal opportunist when it comes to lobster rolls), but it was really good - like, not good for a hotel lounge, but good good. Yum! Ok, so why 4 stars? If it were based on the hospitality of the staff alone, I'd give it 6. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely affable - some were more outgoing than others, sure, but I appreciate mellow kindness. Also, this might be the first time I've remembered to pack all of my extra little charging stations, and I didn't even need them. So many conveniently placed outlets and USB ports - and the main room light was warm toned and welcoming, which is also a little treat :) I had to take away a star because of the general noise. My sleep wasn't disturbed, because I always travel with hardcore ear plugs and a sleep mask, but I couldn't close the curtains all the way (even with the pants hanger clip trick) so there was light coming in, and I could hear everything in the hall. Also plumbing noises (like pipes pinging and gurgling - nothing alarming, just...mildly intrusive). I was also disappointed that there wasn't a laundry bag or dry cleaning service like there are in the other Marriotts I've stayed in; I want to call myself out on not going to the front desk to ask specifically for this, but every other Marriott I've been in has a laundry bag with a dry cleaning order form in the closet. There also weren't any extra blankets in the closet; again, I didn't ask the front for one (and I'm sure they would have given one to me) but I wish there had been one in the room as it was super comfortable until I woke up at 2 am - which is really late and inconvenient to realize you need extra blankets. Ok, so that's why I took away a star. The other 4 are for the friendly staff, incredibly convenient location (anywhere I didn't walk, I took a Bluebike from the stand right outside), gorgeous fitness center (Pelotons?! What?!), and general cleanliness. If I come back to Boston/Cambridge for work, I'm 100% staying here. (If I come for pleasure, I'd probably try a quaint inn or something, but honestly I'd likely stay here the final night of my trip because it is also FIFTEEN MINUTES from the airport. But with a great river view, and no plane noises.) More on the location: walk to the river, and across the Harvard bridge. You're literally right there, and it's a great way to see the city (and while there's a CVS across the street, the one over the bridge is in a historic building. I'm from California, so to me that is very special ๐). It also takes 15 minutes to walk to the Cambridgeside Galleria if you n
More like a family hotel, the design of the house is very characteristic, very warm, the room is small, breakfast is very close to Harvard, can walk, but the parking space is very small, we went late, parked in a parking space Location, I originally wanted to park the hotel the next morning, go to Harvard, but the hotel said that the location of our car is not good, we have to leave when we check out. As a result, we are looking for parking lots everywhere. It is very expensive and the parking fee is very expensive. I went to live in the parking lot and said that it was not good to park near Harvard. In the end, I was looking for a parking lot everywhere. It took time and money, and the hotel price was not high.

My husband and I were so impressed with the front desk, particularly, Mr. Bishop. He was extremely welcoming, and knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions about what to see and do in Cambridge and the Boston area. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable โ we had everything we needed and more! We really enjoyed the sunny window seat. The housekeeping staff, too, was very accommodating. Valet parking was quick and efficient. We loved walking into Cambridge and venturing into Back Bay on the T. We only wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely return again soon! Thank you to the entire staff and a special shout out to Mr. Bishop!
Nice hotel! The location is also very good! There is a supermarket at the door ๏ฝ It is very close to Harvard and MIT. It is very convenient to take the subway one stop. The front desk attitude is also very good!
A famous place opened by a Chinese couple. The room I live in is a basement and the bathroom is shared. There was a little smell in the room that day, but it was ok. There are Chinese fast food restaurants in the surrounding area and a big supermarket. The room is equipped with a kitchen.
The hotel is small, but the furniture and bathroom are new and have no odor. The bed and quilt pillows are super comfortable and will not cause the sound of salsa to affect sleep. There are not many types of breakfast, it is delicious. Great location, 10 minutes walk to the MIT Museum. There is a seafood restaurant across the road from the hotel and the lobster is great. The staff is also very warm and thoughtful. By the way, it is incredible that the room is also prepared with free snacks and fruit.
Due to the change of travel plan, before leaving, I hurried to Trip.com to find hotels near the destination and chose No. 907 Songdel Main Street, which is both distance and cost-effective. The room is in a good location, complete facilities, easy to use, wifi is unblocked, and the stay is very comfortable.
This is a nice hotel in the heart of Cambridge within walking distance of the T and several eating establishments. It has the feel of a slightly upscale hotel without the attitude of one. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The wifi signal in the room was strong. The staff was very helpful in giving us information about the area and one gentleman even explained to me how to purchase a T ticket. On our first night, we returned from Fenway Park in a rainstorm in need of a late meal. The bartender, despite working alone, was able to serve lots of people in a timely and courteous manner, and the steak sandwich I had was delicious. The hotel price was reasonable; the parking price was expensive, though that's probably the norm in the Boston area. The one thing missing would be a store with late-night snacks (candy, chips, etc.). Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area.
Breakfast costs $ 20, but the hotel is connected to Starbucks, so you can choose Star Dad. Or Dunkin Donuts on the side, which is also a very earthy breakfast chain (similar to Bobby steamed buns or Shaxian, but the quality is stable). Location is relatively close to the city, 10 minutes walk from the Red Line subway, there is a fresh pond opposite, the environment is good. The hotel should be pet friendly, with guests and dogs. A little bit of trouble is that after Ctrip booked the hotel, the hotel charge was more than 100 yuan more than the room rate, and the pre-authorization deposit of 50 yuan was checked on the spot and paid separately. This is far worse than the Ctrip customer service has not yet received a response and solution. In addition, most of the waiters in the hotel are black, and the service awareness is slightly poor. One day I came back once in the afternoon, and I used to put the tip for the next day on the bedside table, but I came back at night and found that it was gone ...

Harvard University
GGrace_cytHarvard University in Boston is one of the most influential universities in the world and is a place that many students aspire to visit. When we went there, there were students protesting and many tents were set up on the lawn of the campus, so the school gate was temporarily closed and not open to the public. It was a pity that we were unable to visit. There are many restaurants, cafes, small shops, etc. around Harvard University, and the atmosphere feels more open and casual.
MIT Museum
Ppalettes_nyMy friend from MIT recommended this campus museum to me. I had checked in at the museum on Harvard campus before, and I was shocked, especially the various stones, which were simply too many to take in. So I decisively added the MIT Museum to my itinerary and found a weekend to check in. Compared with the Harvard Museum, the museum here has fewer visitors, and the museum is full of science and engineering atmosphere. Various designs full of technological content are displayed in the museum. It is also very shocking when you come here for the first time. It is more suitable for friends with science and engineering backgrounds to visit. After visiting the museum, you can visit the MIT campus. You can enter the teaching building without a student card.
The Harvard Museum of Natural History
Ppalettes_nyWhen my friend recommended this museum to me, I didn't pay much attention to it at first. I felt that it was difficult for a museum on campus to create a high degree of surprise. I didn't expect to be slapped in the face when I went there. I was so happy to visit it with my friends that I couldn't stop at all. The various strange exhibits were dazzling. The Harvard Museum of Natural History also has a place on the list of Boston's favorite museums.
Founded in 1998, the museum consists of three exhibition halls with different themes: plant specimens, comparative zoology, and mineral geology. Among them, the plant specimen hall was established first. At the beginning of the construction of the museum, it was established by more than 200,000 plant specimens donated by Harvard University professor Asa Gray. In 1977, the Mineral and Geology Museum was built with donations. The last one is the Comparative Zoology Hall built in 1859.
Each theme pavilion has its own wonderful features. I was so happy visiting each one. The glass flower display in the botanical specimen museum and the various animal specimens in the comparative zoology museum were all amazing. My favorite was the mineral geology museum, which had a variety of exquisite minerals. It feels like I rarely see such a large scale and exquisiteness in other museums.
