EE8032PWe chose this hotel because it wasn't far from the MV Ferry, but our stay here was so enjoyable, we'll come back just to stay here again. At check-in you are greeted by Tammy, one of the most knowledgeable, professional, helpful, hotel front desk workers anywhere, who provides you with a wealth of information about the hotel -- and free snacks. Our room was absolutely lovely -- spotlessly clean with a beautiful view of Buzzard's Bay. The only thing that wasn't up to snuff was the breakfast -- but I'm sure they'll fix that with a few easy changes (i.e. get rid of the do-it-yourself waffle batter, and those lemon/poppy seed pastries).
Our recent stay at the Crowne Pointe Hotel and Spa in Provincetown, MA, was just what we needed. Nestled in a fantastic part of town, this gem offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. We were there in mid-September 2024 and from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was serene and quiet and set the tone for a relaxing escape. The weather was wonderful, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The hotel's location is ideal, placing you right in the heart of Provincetown's vibrant scene while maintaining a peaceful retreat. The spa was a standout feature—spotless and swanky, it provided an indulgent experience. The pool, though compact, accommodated our group comfortably and was incredibly refreshing. The hot tub, tucked away in a cozy grotto, offered a uniquely relaxing retreat, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The courtyard area gave us ample opportunities to meet and interact with other guests. The breakfast was another highlight. The food was simple yet delicious—each morning, we were treated to a variety of options that were both fresh and satisfying. One minor note: while the charming brick courtyard added to the hotel's aesthetic appeal, the bricks could be quite slippery in the morning and when wet. Just a small consideration to keep in mind. Overall, Crowne Pointe Hotel and Spa delivers on all fronts with its comfort, prime location, and exceptional amenities. It’s a true standout in Provincetown and a place I would highly recommend!
I will say I have never given a trip advisor review or ever went back to the hotel to complain but we didn't have much of a choice. I have given the manager at this hotel 3 times to respond via email and received nothing so here we go.... We checked in late, 2 adjoining rooms which originally weren't available but they ended up accommodating, which was GREAT and much appreciated. OF course, my mother in law, daughter and niece opened up there comforters to find crumbled cheez -its (or something) similar. I called down and asked if we can make the bed with new sheets, she said of course and pleas know that points will get added to your account for this as it is so wrong that it wasn't cleaned. So we took the old off and got new, great, we move on! We were here for 4 days and in this 4 days the same room was not cleaned, beds made, etc. They do every other day which is perfectly fine BUT at least do it. Our joining room door was open so not quite sure how they missed it. So next time I went down, I said something about the cleaning to see if they could do it that day - garbage was overflowing etc. They said of course and apologized. Come back, still no cleaning and yet again... the front desk person assured me the manager will reach out to me so he gave me her card and information to email her. More than anything I wanted to manager to know what was happening. My mother-in-law pretty much eats only oatmeal everyday so by 8 am the oatmeal was gone so she was setting her alarm for 6:30 am and going to sit by herself and eat oatmeal before it ran out because there is only 1 cook in the back they couldn't replenish, once it's gone, it's gone! You can always wait on line for a waffle, but she doesn't eat that. Other than the one room mishap - which is HUGE to me, cleanliness is KEY to where we choose to stay and missing Oatmeal for breakfast unless you are super early the place is great and staff were wonderful. I am going to DING the Manager just because I tried to reach out 3 times via email in hopes for a response and didn't get it so that is really dissapointing. I wouldn't say NOT to stay here but I will say check the sheets really good and check under the furniture there was also a dirty plastic cup and empty snack bag (No, not the cheez-its).
TTennisSML6I had low hopes for this stay and those hopes were even beyond than I could have imagined. We walked into the room and it already smelled like dead fish. The room looked somewhat updated but don’t be deceived. I logged into my computer to finish work for the day and was greeted with tiny flies. They swarmed my head and became more annoying as I sat there on my call. I then went to get my bathing suit and there were bugs on my bag and some of my clothes since my bag had been opened so my kids could get their bathing suit. First floor room, zero privacy, people constantly walking by and looking in to see what was going on in the room, closing the shades meant being a vampire on a beautiful day. I finally head out to the pool and thought something was wrong with the pool, it was beyond cloudy clearly over chlorinated. Not a single pool towel could be found either. Day 2 more bugs in the room. They give you shampoo, body wash, and a soap bar but no conditioner. the towels were a perfect size for our toddler not an adult and they only gave you 2. No tissue box under the tissue dispenser. TV would turn on but never worked. Two doors in the room, there should be a high deadbolt especially for first floor rooms. We had to barricade the doors at night to ensure the kids didn’t get up and leave the room. By day 3, we were ready to leave and the fridge is finally cold. It’s like they tried to update it cheaply but its true colors came out. Can’t put lipstick on a pig, it just doesn’t work.
This is my second time staying here, and I enjoyed it greatly. The booking through the front desk was smooth, I got a room that I wanted, and a couple of minor inconveniences were dealt with quickly and completely. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and housekeeping was quite competent (not always the case in other places). I look forward to staying here again.
DDerek MGreat location with stuff minutes away. Cape Cod mall down the street and a ton of restaurants Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. We ate outside in the back. Out door pool was very clean. Indoor pool and spa were on point and the beach out back on the marsh is a great spot at night!! The wife and I will definitely be returning
GGuest UserWe stayed here recently for couple of nights. The room was spacious for King size, and it was super clean. We had plenty of room to stretch ourselves and set up pack and play for our infant son. Breakfast choices were wonderful and well managed. Indoor pool was huge but we could not enjoy as we did not brought swim suites. We loved it here.
