Very clean hotel, giant space inside room. The hotel is a very tall building located at a preferred location in the downtown Charlotte area. The hotel services are very inclusive, you get whatever you need immediately.

Upon arrival, you are greeted by the Valet. They are very friendly. The hotel was clean. The problems: It lacked an elegant/inviting smell that fresh flowers/plants bring or even a spray, anything to take away the stale city air smell. The checkin process took longer than I thought it should. We were assigned a room that smelled moldy/”weed”, shower did not work well. We switched rooms to a new room the next morning. The new room had a few issues: the toilet would not flush properly, all the drains were slow to drain. Maintenance did come to fix 2 of the problems, the 3rd was going to need more time which I felt could be done after we left. The billing system needs to be updated; we preordered hotel credit and parking but when we got the bill it was incorrect. I had to talk to the front desk to get it fixed. He was nice about it- but it was my vacation time wasted as I had already spent time doing it. Seeing your bill online and checking the emails is inconvenient. Why not be able to access it on the TV. The hotel was quick to respond on towel request and bringing food orders. The pool is refreshing! (not heated) it was a great way to cool down. The pool area is nice with games, clean, and plenty of towels. The work out facility looked great! The location is good for restaurants. The breakfast spots are delicious. One sidewalk around the hotel is flithy, smelly and have many people milling about. It did not feel safe to walk alone. The city itself has trash everywhere.

I absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed in this hotel on our way out of town & were pleasantly surprised!! The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean, great location!! ☺️

I stayed at the Embassy Suites this past weekend for a conference and all of the staff were pleasant and professional. The facility is beautiful and well maintained…. I must give a special shout out and thanks to Jada who Works the front desk with elegance, grace & compassion. She went above and beyond not just for me but o witnessed her being just as courteous and professional with another guest. She made our experience that much better. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Jada.

This is a beautiful hotel. The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. As soon as we entered the hotel they were ready for us. Our room was very nice and spacious. I loved the long couch, which was great for lounging. The view was good. The bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The TV wasn't loud enough, but that was the only downside.

We absolutely LOVE this hotel!! The views are unbeatable, the location couldn’t be better, staff is kind, the list goes on. We checked in really late (honestly 4am Wednesday when we were supposed to be there the night before, but no one seemed annoyed and the staff was WONDERFUL.) I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. I included a picture from the bed of the sunrise!!

I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Charlotte, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel’s modern design and luxurious amenities provided a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of the city. The staff was outstanding, but I want to give a special shoutout to Minho. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made my stay even more memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, from offering local recommendations to ensuring I had everything I needed during my stay. The hotel’s dining options were top-notch, with a diverse menu that satisfied all my cravings. We stayed for one night while on a road trip. The hotel is quite nice and easy to get to. The room was clean and spacious. They accommodated an early check-in which was convenient. Parking is $25 a night. 2 coffees and three muffins in the morning was $27. 😐 In the middle of the night 12:15-1:15 am there was a disturbance on our floor. Yelling, slamming doors etc. I tried calling the desk several times to report it but didn't get an answer. I didn't feel comfortable addressing it on my own as I was traveling with my young kids. I kind of felt trapped in the room....I don't blame the hotel for the disturbance but I do hold them accountable for the front desk not answering the phone. I mentioned the issue to the staff upon check out....they appeared genuine in their apology.

The Hyatt Place is fantastic. The hotel is a 5 min drive to UNC Charlotte, which was perfect for our college tour. In addition, the University area is filled with a variety if stores and great restaurants. Some restaurants are even less than a 5 min walk away. Concord Mills is a 10 min drive away. It's also very easy to access the hotel, as it is right on the I-85 off ramp. The hotel itself has very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast selection (hot foods, yogurt bar, breads, cereals/oats, and fresh fruit). Our suite was spacious, incl 2 double beds and a double sofa bed to accommodate an adult and 3 teens very comfortably.
