Stayed at this Hampton for a wedding in the area, and we ran into many issues that make the property very hard to recommend, but let's cover the positives first. The hotel itself is in pretty good shape, with decently-sized rooms and fresh decor. No surprises here - in a sense, if you've seen one Hampton, you've seen them all, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, despite the hotel being fully booked and very busy all weekend long. Onto the negatives. Our room was very dirty on arrival, with hair left on the carpets and some troubling brown streaks in the bathroom. For whatever reason, the air conditioning blew incredibly moist and wet air into the room, and even after turning the unit off, my girlfriend was left with hives and skin irritation for days afterward. A few staffers got into an expletive-filled screaming match as breakfast was closing down one day, which isn't a good look for a property that targets families. I brought all of this to management's attention as we left, and I sincerely hope everything was addressed. If this hotel wasn't part of the pre-booked wedding block, we'd have checked out early and stayed somewhere else. This was a pretty unpleasant experience for everyone in our room, but reviews for this property seem positive overall, so your mileage may vary; if you stay here, maybe think twice before running the air conditioning.

When my Family travel to the Poconos we always stay at this Fairfield Inn & Suites location. Our last stay, two weekends ago, was my Birthday and part of the celebration included cards and a present for me. When we arrived home, I realized that I left my cards and present. I immediately contacted the hotel and was informed that the staff had retrieved my cards and gift and brought them to the Front Desk. I requested to have them mailed to me. Ms. Kendy Castillo, the General Manager, called me to confirm the mailing information. To my surprise, I received my cards and gift within five (5) days. I would like to commend Ms. Castillo and staff for their continued exemplary service!

I'm not entirely sure how this place is still open. We decided to stop here on our trip while heading further north for a wedding in the Finger Lakes of NY. We had trouble finding the entrance because it doesn't even have a sign out front and the front door isn't labeled. The images online must have been taken a long time ago because the entire building is completely run-down. They are attempting to remodel the front desk and had everything covered in plastic during our stay. The single set of elevators were also down. Our room came complete with broken furniture, broken-off door handles and a phone that had all of the buttons removed. Cigarette burns in the furniture and carpet were gross. The walls and ceiling clearly had water damage as well. We were very thankful they did allow dogs(+1 Star) and the AC did work(+1 Star)! Honestly, this is one step above abandonment. If you're looking for a psychedelic Hunter S. Thompson Fear & Loathing experience - Bingo.
