GGuest UserI have driven past this hotel for years (my sister lives a mile down the road) and never really thought too much of it. For a wedding visit, we needed more space, so I booked a room here for location purposes only, not expecting much. I was pleasantly-PLEASANTLY-surprised. It's a gem. Low-key and basic, but absolutely spotless and the staff was wonderful. Every staff member we encountered was hospitable and went out of their way to help. Mr. Love, the maintenance man, was super friendly with my 4 year old son, who saw him with some tools and wanted to talk. A wonderfully kind African-American woman who was working the desk (I didn't catch her name) on Sunday morning went and got my son a muffin when we missed the breakfast by ten minutes. The room was SPOTLESS, and housekeeping members were incredibly nice. I don't know what the previous reviews were saying about cigarette smoke-the place smelled very clean. Overall, I'd give this 5 stars. We were really just there to sleep, but we couldn't have been treated any better, and the location was perfect. Other visitors (I spoke to other families and a few older couples) seemed happy staying there too. This place is a fairly-priced gem! Would absolutely stay again!

OOwen GongHotel is good, but the reception guy is very terrible. The carbon monoxide alarm is buzzing because the battery was run out, the reception guy promised to fix it at 11:00pm, but when I called the reception again and be tolded that he got off work and already left without a message.
