I decided to check out this Fairfield since it was formally a run down, old Holiday Inn, and wanted to see what Marriott had done with the place. The agent I encountered upon check in was quick and professional, and the lobby looked fantastic! The room itself was a good size, not too much furniture to have to move around, but the bathroom was small. I will say however they did a really good job with what they had to work with. Everything appeared brand new! My only suggestion would be to upgrade the wifi. I could not stream NetFilx because it kept buffering over and over again. I finally went back to watching live TV but even then there was mostly ESPN to watch and not much else. An expanded channel line up would be appreciated. Great job and continued success!
I spent a month here and I must say the staff are amazing! Every staff member from the maids, front end concierges and maintenance always greeted me with a smile. The room was quiet and exceptionally clean. The location is prime to all that Issaquah has to offer. If you want superb service and friendly staff this is the place to stay!
I had to travel during the COVID restrictions. (It was an emergency)
I was very nervous about what the check in would be like and how the room would be cleaned. On my arrival, the front desk was set up with a 12 foot social distance toy truck system. It was very ingenious toy truck and a ramp to take the cards to and from each person. The only card I sent up was my license and next to the truck ramp were wipes and hand jell so when I received my room card I could clean those too.
The elevators had signs asking for only 2 passengers per ride and to keep socially distanced with masks.
My room was so clean and remotes were wrapped in a paper stating they had been cleaned. When I had to return again a month later they had stickers on the door jam sealing the door stating they had been cleaned.
The free breakfast was still served in a to go form. Individual bags had pastries and bagels and coffee in to go cups.
I was extremely impressed with the care they took to make sure everything was clean and safe in our current situation.
I stayed in a King bedroom suite. It was very spacious and the price was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to make a meal.
We stayed in the same type of room our second trip and had our dog. There is a large open field about a block away that is used for dog training and was a great place to play with our dog and let her run.
Anything you need is less than a mile away. Groceries, Costco, Target and a beautiful state park on the lake with swimming, play equipment and a boat launch. Not to mention the historical down town of Issaquah that is working on interesting ways to open all their restraints.
I’m booking my 3rd stay, and hopefully last for a while but I will always make this my go to place.

We booked a block of rooms for our daughter's wedding and couldn't have been happier with this choice. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is in a quiet area, yet convenient to shops and restaurants and parks. We also had a brunch for our guests here which was lovely. The whole weekend went off without a hitch and I would highly recommend a stay here.
This is the most well-maintained Motel 6 at which I’ve ever stayed. The room was spotless and the grounds were nicely landscaped. The dog-potty areas were grassy and tidy (so often motels allow them to be dirt, which becomes mud, which dirties the room). I was very impressed by the kindness and friendliness of the middle of the night desk clerk who promptly created a new key card for me when I accidentally locked myself out of the room when I took the dogs out. Absolutely would stay here again!
The location is next to a small church, relatively quiet. A bit old, but very hygienic. There is an elevator and hot water and coffee are available in the lobby all day. The room has a kitchen and is fully equipped. There is a supermarket nearby. Breakfast is simple and normal. Self-driving travel can be considered if your requirements are not high.
Staying here is good in itself. I stayed for one night. From 5:30-7:30 you can enjoy this open bar service. I appreciate the big room. The breakfast was very good. I slept well too. There was a fundraiser in the main central courtyard area, which was very noisy. Until 9:00, his noise will pass directly to my room on the second floor. The gym is directly next to the indoor pool and smells of chlorine gas. So why give 5 stars? Because I arranged a meeting the next day in a building next to a nearby transformer, the staff could arrange our group as appointment-free customers. They smiled, bowed and did a lot to make sure we had everything we needed. They really saved my day. Thank you!
I have to note that I have stayed in so many hotels relocating from the East Coast to the West Coast, and I’ve been very surprised at certain hotel chains. This hotel was a delight!! I’ve worked in customer service for years, and I was always told that you be able to know who the manager is just by their leadership skills; I knew immediately that Raj was the General Manager. His professionalism, accuracy, and customer service skills were impeccable; by far the best I’ve seen and I’ve stayed at 25 different hotels during this journey. The hotel itself is also wonderful, which reflects on management also. Every front desk employee was excellent, and I appreciate some humor, and got some from a young lady. The rooms are immaculate, and very spacious; there are a lot of places to meet all your needs in terms of toiletries, wine, and many other things. You can ask the front desk so many questions and not only will they give you the answers, but they will make sure you understand where you are going. The entire team was dressed perfectly, something I’ve noticed has been lacking in other hotels. I think it’s also in the perfect location, because your right outside of Seattle, but not in the middle of all the chaos so you have a great deal peace, but can get to the city in 15 minutes approximately, This has been my favorite hotel that we have stayed at since bouncing around the Seattle area. I applaud Raj, and all management as well as the front desk agents, you truly are all wonderful, and I felt at home but better bc the hotel is just wonderful in all respects. Thank you North Gate for restoring my faith in hotels again.

The room itself was fine, but the free WiFi wouldn't work for my laptop, only our phones. We talked to tech support twice and they ran me through the standard litany of things, but nothing worked. This is the same laptop that could literally go down into the lobby, find a different access point, and connect fine, but the actual hotel's WiFi was hot garbage. Considering I was there for three nights, it was definitely inconvenient and something that'll prompt me to stay elsewhere for my next trip.
