Best Lake County Hotels

Beautiful NYE stay. Played a round in Las Calinas when we arrived then went to Knickers for dinner. Knickers was good but bleu chips chips were burnt. Checked in and hit the room to get ready. Liked the patio was enclosed. Beautiful grounds to walk around with your companion. Such a quiet facility. Beds were comfortable. Brunch was heavy with all the options. Can see us returning.

Absolutely fantastic, Clean, awesome staff, great location, plenty of parking, great breakfast, on-site convenient store,most of all comfortable BED. Our room was King, had a comfortable sofa, fridge and the hand soap was a pump not a bar now all Hotels should be doing this. Great coffee & comfortable bed its a winner.

We arrived right at 3pm and was checked in immediately. We got up to our room and began to settle in, when we realized that our AC unit was not working properly. The maintenance worker said he would be right up, however, we told him to finish what he was working on at the time. He was up to our room within 10 minutes. He tried a few different things with the AC unit to no avail. He walked my husband down to the front desk to let them know that we would need to be moved. We were moved to a different room, that worked out much better for our family. The staff was very apologetic but we were so happy with how they handled the situation. We have reservations to stay at this location again later this month. I know that if we have ANY issues, the staff will handle it immediately and with a smile on their face!

As diamond members we have stayed at various hotels within the Hilton chain. This was the first time we encountered front desk people who weren’t friendly or welcoming. First we thought maybe the woman was just having a bad day. We arrived early & checked our bags & went out for the afternoon. Coming back a different person was at the desk. Same perfunctory manner. The only pleasant person was the woman who serviced the breakfast buffet on Sunday. She was pleasant welcoming & helpful. When we checked out I thought the total was high so I pulled up my original confirmation. Sure enough we were charged the Saturday nite rate for both nights. The confirmation showed a significantly lower rate for Sunday. It was quickly adjusted but it simply never should have happened. The hotel is fine - hallway carpeting looks old & stained but the carpeting in the room looks new. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The ac/heat was difficult to control. It automatically switches from warm air to cool air and we found it hard to get it to stay at a comfortable temp. We missed having sweet rolls/muffins at breakfast but the raisin bread was outstanding - not your usual national brand kind. We appreciated the use of paper rather than styrofoam. Just make sure to check your bill.

We love the Mt. Dora/Tavares/Leesburg area of Florida. Would definitely stay at this Marriott property again! The beds were soooo comfortable. Our room was large, had a kitchen and had a very roomy, clean bathroom! When we checked in, the lady on the front desk suggested a nearby restaurant on a lake to celebrate a special occasion. She was correct -dinner was great. Breakfast this morning was delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

I stay at this hotel often visiting family and attending my grandchildren’s sporting events. Efficient checkin by a very pleasant gentleman. Excellent front desk staff - especially enjoy Miguel and Shay. I enjoy the 24 hour lemon water, coffee, and tea. Also the afternoon/evening cookies. The clean king room was spacious with comfortable mattress and pillows. Loved having Stephanie (spelling) from housekeeping who remembered me from previous stays and remembered exactly what I need. I also enjoyed interacting with Ellie and Frances. Wi-Fi was intermittent at best and I was told by the front desk it was inconsistent. I miss the newspapers they used to have - USA Today and Wall Street Journal. Close to shopping and restaurants. Ice machine on my floor out of order but the machine on the floor below worked. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The cinnamon muffins were delicious! The AC was noisy and kept waking me up. I reported it but never heard from maintenance (I was there 5 nights). Appreciated the microwave and refrigerator.

My husband and I stayed for 5 days celebrating our anniversary. The location is great for going to Mount Dora to attend activities. Also there is shopping nearby - Ross, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree. Turn right on Highway 441 to go to Mount Dora. Turn left to go to Eustis where you'll find iHop and Golden Coral. The staff is friendly. Even though the hotel is older, the room was neat and clean. It had a microwave oven and refrigerator. Housekeeping came every day. It was refreshing to return to our room with clean towels and beds made. I took advantage of the free breakfast a couple of times (the usual waffle-maker, cereal, coffee, etc).
