GGuest UserUpon late arrival the desk person, Daniel was very nice and accommodating when checking us in to make sure we were not near an elevator or equipment room, etc. The room was very clean. We always re-sanitize due to covid and where very happy to find the removable AC vents were actually clean (many are not) and there was no lingering dust on any headboards, furniture, etc. so their housekeeping is also good!! Breakfast buffet was standard with hot foods, etc. but also good. We decided the next day to spend some time sightseeing in Tupelo but not sure what was best since limited time. Upon check out we met the General Manager Lezlie Pender. She was great! Gave us good information about nearby sights. Although not big fans we chose to do Elvis' Childhood home and so happy we did. Thank you Lezlie!!
GGuest UserThe experience of staying in any hotel should be a good, if not great, one. The most important things for me are a clean comfortable room-Period. I stayed here during the busy season and I was more than satisfied with the accommodations. There were a couple of things that the housekeepers vacuum didn’t pick up-and that isn’t a deal breaker. Folks who can’t put up with a little bit of noise(kids being too rambunctious, traffic outside etc,) should probably stay in an full house rental-because it’s to be expected to hear a little something in a hotel. Because they (Any noise makers) will be going to bed. My room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I’ll be staying here again.
Review of Hilton Garden Inn: Room 335 - June 17-20 Stay Terrible Place to Stay! I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn from June 17th to June 20th, and it was a major disappointment. I was in room 335, and it was far below the standard I expect from a Hilton property. Honestly, I've stayed at budget hotels that were in better condition. Here’s a rundown of the issues I faced: Bathroom Problems: The towel holders were missing, leaving just the brackets on the wall. Not only did this look bad, but it was also highly inconvenient. Lighting Issues: Several lights were not working, and one lamp was missing a bulb altogether, which made the room feel dark and unwelcoming. Poor Maintenance: The wallpaper was peeling off, and the air conditioning unit seemed to have been installed with a sledgehammer and axe. It didn't fit properly and barely worked. Terrible Bed: The bed was awful. The mattress was smaller than the king-size frame, creating an uncomfortable sleep experience. Subpar Shower: The shower was a letdown. The water pressure was low, and the hot water was lukewarm at best, making showers unpleasant. Hygiene Nightmare: To top it all off, I saw a bug, which looked like a roach, crawl across the floor when I turned on one of the working lights in the morning. Absolutely disgusting! This stay has seriously made me reconsider ever staying at a Hilton Garden Inn again. The room was so bad that I couldn’t wait to leave. I strongly suggest that anyone thinking of staying here look for another hotel until they make some serious improvements. This place is a disgrace and should be closed until they can bring it up to a standard worthy of the Hilton name. Avoid this place at all costs!
Mmebarton2The room was clean and comfortable. The service was very good. My only gripe was that I wished there had been a better selection for the continental breakfast. The selection was limited. Other than that it was a very good stay for the price we paid.
This was my first experience staying at a Red Roof Inn and it truly was a pleasant surprise. This was also the first trip that I stayed anywhere with my fur babies. Our room was updated and clean. There was no carpeting which made it easier to feed our pups without worrying about them dripping water from their bowl. There was also plenty of well kept lawn to walk them on.
GGuest UserThe Hotel was nice and clean bed was pretty comfortable. The price was very good. The lady at the desk was very nice and honored my request. If you’re looking for a good place to get a nite of sleep quit this is the place.. If you’re looking for luxury and 5 star room this isn’t the place. I will be happy to stay there again.
GGuest UserVery strong smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room. Fairly new, nice looking carpet. We like the exterior access, but the area outside our room was a graveyard for old air conditioners, sinks, and lots of other trash. We were charged a non-refundable pet fee, yet the bathroom floor on the left side of the toilet had a leftover spray of human urine! Other than that important detail, it looked like the staff was trying to keep the room clean and the bed was comfortable. Good coffee and complementary breakfast are offered.
