Very Good
Had an ADA room with a walk-in shower with a seat in it. They also have a chair in the bathroom that someone else could use if you need help in the shower. Great item and never had one before, always had my wife stand when she helped me. Rest of room was very large with TV and heat & A/C working well. TV is DirectTV. The only bad thing was the bed being too high, had a hard time getting into it but the bed was comfortable once I did. Also had a couch in room. Overall, a great room. Room was 127
FfredfJ4975UMIt’s a nice property, the staff is courteous and we’ve stayed here many times when in Gallup. Over time it appears this Springhill Suites is falling into disrepair and no one seems to care. In May 2023 the ice machines were out of order. In July 2023, the ice machines are still not working. Further, both of the elevators have been out of order for several days With a room on the 4th floor, this is inconvenient and dangerous as guests must carry their luggage down the stairs. At least two entrance/exit doors have had out of order signs since our May visit. Lack of such basic maintenance points to much deeper business issues. Will be locate alternate hotels for all future visits to this area. This review focuses on major problems and does not include minor room issues such as faulty lamp switches, unstable chairs, and loose bathroom fixtures,
GGuest UserWe stayed in a deluxe double. Not sure if the rooms are different. Room seemed recently renovated and was clean and adequate with a refrigerator and microwave. Security seemed adequate. Common facilities are dingy. Breakfast was a waffle machine and instant oatmeal. Breakfast ends at 9 am even on Sunday which is a little obnoxious for a hotel about 17 miles from a time zone change (people coming from AZ must not appreciate breakfast ending at 8 am on their body clocks). How much effort would it take to at least go to 10:00 am local time? Answer is probably a lot as more people would use it.
Chose this hotel for it’s good reviews and 300 sq ft rooms advertised. Saw some poor revews about outdated rooms and asked for a renovated room. Alaia found us one and was entirely professional and friendly as she informed us about the hotel, breakfast, internet access, etc. The room is clean and well stocked. We’re happy!
CCLGH TravelersI've stayed at this hotel numerous times. For the money it is fair. One problem that has always been present is the fact that their ”breakfast” is non existent. Compared to other similar priced and rated motel/hotel establishments I stay at this one is the PITTS! Almost non-existent, Others have waffle or Pancake machines, Most have toast, scrambled eggs or omlets, or oatmeal, etc. Selection of fresh fruit, yogurt or even fresh donuts are not available. Very Very skimpy selection at best. Why they even list ”breakfast is beyond me.
Stayed here one night on the way to Colorado. (in an isolated section of Gallup) The lobby gave a good first impression, but then after hauling our luggage up the stairs, we saw the room. Thank goodness the bed (for me) was decent, because the room was dated and very run down. Water seemed dirty initially out of the tap. One lamp shade was torn. Breakfast was simple. Pancake machine was a plus. I'd look for other hotels.
Sspacepilot500This is an older 50’s era one story motel. While it looks kind of drab from the outside, rooms were clean and recently remodeled. Towels looked new. There is no coffee in the room or office. I couldn’t get the tv to work, but there is strong internet, so I watched Netflix and Roku on my device which I prefer anyway. Breakfast bags are available in the morning consisting of Raisin Bran cereal, raisin bread, and milk. Rates are reasonable and staff polite. I was only looking for some evening rest while going through town on my way to California, and this served my purpose.
Me and my husband visit New Mexico often and stay here because we always had a good service and and it is clean. But we last stayed there on 6/18/2024. When we got up in the morning our Truck was broken in to and our stuff was taken. We ask to see the cameras they only showed my husband one. Pretty sure the camera showed more because they have them all over. We won't be staying there anymore
Very nice check-in manager. Large room with newer laminate flooring so no musty carpet smell. Everything clean and as described, fridge with little freezer works well. The trains at night are cool but not too loud. My wife and I felt good about supporting this business. Recommended.
