Nice spacious, clean, cozy Suites Hotel. We were given Room 426, a very nice Suite with a full Kitchen that is fully stocked with all the appliances and plates/cups/bowls/pans and utensils already in place, full Refrigerator and large Microwave, and counter Table with Stools for sitting in the Kitchen area. A separate living room space with a door, and sleeper sofa. 2 TVs in the Suite. NO personal Safe in the Suite. The Bathroom Sink area is separated from the Toilet and Tub/Shower, the Bathroom Sink is with plenty of drawers to store your toiletries, and is next to a large closet space in the Bedroom area. However if you are sleeping and someone uses the Bathroom Sink there is no door to separate the Bathroom Sink area from the Bedroom area. The Beds are comfortable and the room is spacious with a Dresser Drawer. There is plenty of good onsite Complimentary Parking for Guests. There is NO SWIMMING POOL, but there is a nice outdoor small Patio Seating that has 2 cooking Grills for Guests to use. On some days the Hotel gives the Guests a complimentary light fare Dinner (Tacos and Beverages). The Complimentary Breakfast is very very minimal in items that it offers and is not well stacked, the Staff during our stay did not keep enough food out, and the Breakfast Service was poor and the attitude of the Breakfast Staff was not welcoming and caring, just doing their job, which might be to the fact that there was only one staff doing the Breakfast area, person may have been overwhelmed with the work. Otherwise the Hotel was a nice stop over.
On a business trip with my dad, I passed by here for one night.
Usually I like to have a kitchen when I live in a hotel. It is very convenient whether it is to drink or drink hot food. The kitchen of this hotel is very large, and the tableware is rich. Although it is not very dare to use during the epidemic, at least it has everything 😂
The location of the hotel is good for this small place. Once opened, the door room is indeed very large and very clean. The front desk service attitude is also good. High cost performance, recommended.
I travel a LOT for work, so I know a thing or two about hotel staff. The staff here is the best I've ever met. We stayed here for a baseball tournament. Lisa at the front desk worked literal miracles for us upon checking in, getting us a room at 8:30 in the morning on the first day of our stay and working to get our stay extended. Riley was a champ the rest of the week, allowing our team to take over the lobby to setup a buffet and watch a movie on the lobby TV. They bent over backwards to make our stay PERFECT. The hotel staff were honorary members of our baseball team this week, asking for status updates after each game and cheering us on when we kept winning. They were the best! Thanks so much!

***** Everything. Right where you need it. ®:*****
On our way from Indy to Green Bay and needed a place to sleep for one night. Quick easy on and off highway location. Easy check in and out. Friendly staff. We were in need a set of papers printed and the staff volunteered that if I emailed it to her she would print it. Thankfully it was a trip itinerary with no sensitive info so that worked. The printer in lobby for guest use is not bluetooth compatible and should be updated. Our room was clean, four pillows of varying softness suits our needs. Bed was good. Hallway carpet new. Breakfast is what you’d expect for a free breakfast: oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, potatoes, boiled eggs, cereal, juice and milk and breads. Adequate for our needs. Clean parking lot with lovely landscaping. We would most certainly stay there again. We had no complaints or concerns.
There is so much potential with this hotel but we were left disappointed. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. When we got to our room, we found that they had given us an accessible room which we do not need. This is the second time a Choice property has done this. Third floor. First night the hallway had a very strong incense smell. Day two, smelled strongly of *********. The Room: Fairly clean but has an awkward layout. Bathroom door opens out and you can't get to the main door without having the bathroom door closed. The bed was sloppily made and has some type of metal bars that stick out the sides under the bed skirt that are just waiting to catch your ankles getting in or out of bed. The mattress seemed like it was beyond its useful life. They are trying to get more use with a cheap topper. Furniture is decent except table that looks like a dog used the corner as a chew toy. The bathroom: Tiles are loose and click as you walk across the floor. You can actually see them move. The stainless steel kleenex holder is rusty and just plain nasty. Handlebar on the wall is loose. Very little water pressure in shower and water trickles down to the side of the tub. Since the shower head is off center for whatever reason, all that water runs out on the bathroom floor. The water temp in the shower is inconsistent and will quickly scold you then immediately freeze you. It's worthy to note that maintenance did install a new shower head which seemed to have fixed the pressure/water running out problem. We asked for room service to replace the towels that needed to be used to clean up all the water. They never showed up.
The AC was horrible. The whole night it only blew humid room temperature air. The room had a weird smell. Calling the front desk was useless, they never answered.

I'm currently staying in ESA in Merrillville, Indiana with my family for a new job and it has been just amazing. Every reservation includes a daily self service breakfast with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, a variety of oatmeal, snack bars, and a variety of muffins as well no matter how many nights you'll stay. The rooms are clean, specially if they are done by Cheresse, the housekeeper. She's the best! The staff at the front desk are very kind and they provide to you cooking utensils and coffee makers and toasters as well at no additional costs to you. Every single service they announce in the web is included on the reservation. I highly recommend this place with a five plus stars review! Ricardo Santiago, June 2022
MMia I”I recently stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham Merrillville and had a fantastic experience! The hotel's convenient location made it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in process. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a cozy bed and modern amenities.

RRodger HutchisonI really had no big issues, it was clean, could use a little touch up paint on the inside of the door frame to the bathroom but that's not a big deal.
I did have to turn up the refrigerator to cool my drinks and when i woke up there was water on the floor. again not a big deal, the also had new refrigerator down stairs so they mat be in the middle of upgrading them. the a/c worked great. The only thing that was kinda bad was the remote did not work on the TV but I was so tired I just went to sleep. (room 201) I would stay there again.
TToni MHad a great time here antionett was amazing she was nice and helped me though the entire process recommended her to anyone she’s there weekdays only so make sure to book weekdays the place is right above mu budget and it’s tidy and clean definitely going again
Great room at a great price! We came to Merrillville for a hockey tournament and found this as the most reasonable place for us to stay. The location is great, lots of places within walking distance to go eat and shop. The staff at the desk welcomed us and really engaged with our kids when they saw our hockey equipment. They even let them show off a few moves! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay!
The average price for hotels in Merrillville is MXN$2,165 on weekdays, and MXN$2,640 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
