I am easy to please and love to call myself a ”dirtbag.” I only say that because I'll write my review as such. I rated 3/5 just because place is a little dated, but it was more 3.5/5 as I never felt unsafe/unclean and it was affordable for the area. Booked trip of a lifetime, first commercial flight from Kansas to great NW to cover Diamond League finals/Pre Classic in Eugene. Always wanted to see Seattle but costly to stay there so stayed 45ish minutes out in Monroe. It's more of a motel than a hotel. Independently owned. It probably looks worse than my experience. Who doesn't like new, shiny things? But I was pleased with my experience. My TV didn't work. I almost diagnosed it but they sent someone up and he brought in a new cord and fixed it. It's definitely not modern but struck me as clean and comfortable. I definitely had no pause with anything about the place. One thing I did notice: trains! Holy cow it'd come barreling through the back of the parking lot. Kinda interesting, kinda annoying. So you're 45-60 minutes from Seattle, some of it a pretty drive. Monroe seemed small but plenty of shopping options. Google eats showed a lot of non-chain stuff but a short drive down town and you'll find plenty of chain places. Seems to be family owned and they were friendly. Seemed clean and safe. Definitely cheaper than staying in the city. I'd definitely consider a stay there again.
The average price for hotels in Monroe is RUB 11,748 on weekdays, and RUB 13,492 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
