We were married at Auberge and have been continuing our tradition of visiting the property annually for the last 15 years. The property does not disappoint: amazing views, along with the most professional and friendliest staff we've ever met in our travels. Some of them, such as Sharon, Andrea and Cesar, we see year after year, have become like family to us. What also impresses us is the way it stays relevant throughout the years. We've been noticing continual enhancements to the property, including upgrades to the restaurant this year, with a newer more contemporary color palette as well as installing an impressive wine cellar inside the restaurant. We also appreciated a fresher look to the locker rooms at the spa, elevating the luxuriousness of the overall experience. Auberge du Soleil always have a special place in our hearts. We are already looking forward to returning in 2025 and for many more years to come.

Grounds are beautiful and location perfect yet found service inconsistent and room disappointing. The room was a great size yet hasn’t been updated in some time. There were no drawers for your things - and cabinetry old and scratched. when you stay for 4 nights it would be nice to have them put away as opposed to in piles in a closet where they put hard to reach or see black shelving on the sides. The gym is a small box on the pool roof. It has great equipment but it’s in the size of a closet. They need a better gym. Period. Not acceptable for a hotel of this type. We were told there was no affiliate gym near. Breakfast is a little disappointing. Service great though it was 20 minutes to get a table for breakfast which seems unfortunate when you’re staying there. Coffee in the room delicious. The valets are incredible.

Very clean hotel, suitable for family living, the room is relatively large, the bathroom is wet and dry, and there is nothing in the room except the toothbrush. There are a lot of bars in the vicinity of the hotel. When you come to Napa, you must try local red wine. There is also a free bicycle in the hotel, which is also a good choice for a short visit to the local town.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in late August for a special event and had an amazing experience from the time I was called to book my reservation, to them accomodating early check-in and late check-out, and even stored our extra food and wine we had after checking out all day so we could explore Yountville. Everything felt smooth, relaxed and welcoming and the place has a beautiful laid back French charm thats not trying hard but perfectly tasteful and elegant. It is right off the main street in downtown yountville looking at vineyards from the resort across the street and just a block away from Coqueta, Bouchon bakery and the downtown marketplace. We ony wished we had another night to relax there as we were gone so much for our event. Only improvments needed were for the breakfast as for the price I would hope for better coffee and we missed our afternoon cheese as my BF wasnt told upon check in there was a bag waiting for us that afternoon but was a nice touch we noticed the next day! Additionally the hot tub was out of order, which is always frustrating for a hotel or inn. But we still loved it and cant wait to come back for a couples retreat again soon! Advice, make reservations for meals if youre planning to come peak season or on a weekend as its in prime location

First time to the wine country to spend 5 days eating, drinking, biking and taking in all the beauty of it has to offer. Picked Yountville because of location, everything central. I picked this hotel because location and style of hotel. Close to restaurants, tasting rooms and activities, all within walking distance. My friend and I were very pleased with our stay here. The staff, all very friendly, check-in was a breeze. We were offered a welcome cocktail upon our arrival. Our room on the ground floor was very nice, felt clean, loved the tile floor (not a fan of hotel carpet) It had all the amenities of coffee/tea machine, fridge, complementary snacks and waters and big soaking tub. The bed and pillows all very comfortable. To note: no desk if you need one, LOL they don’t want you to work. Bath and shower all very nice, though they need towel rails to hang your towels on. The only aspect of the room I was disappointed in was I wanted to have a working fireplace. The grounds were kept nice, a lot of landscaping going on. I saw the pool and jacuzzi. I took advantage of the small gym, Nicely equipped with 3 Peloton, an elliptical and weights, plenty of towels, water, sanitizer and breakfast bars. We took advantage of the breakfast included which were an abundance of fresh fruit, bagels and pastries, along with artisan meats and cheese, smoked salmon, coffee, teas, juices and Mimosas and Sunday Bloody Mary. The breakfast setup was nice, you never felt over crowded with people and was perfect way to start your day. I would definitely stay here again next visit.

GGuest UserMy husband and I experience the WORST stay of our lives here. What’s worse is the owners’ refusal to make anything right. Soon after we arrived and were hoping to relax next to the fire, a noxious odor began to infiltrate the cottage. We contacted the innkeeper, who came in and immediately agreed that there was a bad odor coming from the fireplace. She suggested changing to another cottage, which emitted the same noxious odor as the first cottage we were staying in. She said the fireplaces had recently been serviced. We think some harsh chemical was used to clean or service them. The innkeeper suggested that we spend our vacation time finding a cottage that didn’t have a smell, while she attended to other things. That should have been her responsibility. We ended up having leave the windows open all night along in December! We contacted the inn after our stay and they said they acknowledged that there was a foul smelling odor, but said “It's our sincere hope that our offer of a different cottage and the complementary wine will demonstrate our dedication to ensuring your future experiences with us are delightful and stress-free, in line with the visits you've had in the past.” They offered us a cheap bottle of wine to compensate for a cold, stressful, toxic night. The offer for a “different cottage” was no offer at all: we tried another cottage and it was just as foul smelling due to the fireplaces being serviced. And the innkeeper did not assist us with finding another cottage because she was too busy. This place used to be beloved to us. This experience has caused us to do further research in the Cottage Grove Inn business to see if we were not the only ones who has experienced this. We read reviews on various sites. Several guests have left negative reviews recently. Some of these complaints are very alarming, such as non-compliance with ADA rules, faulty smoke and carbon monoxide detectors that required a 911 call and a visit from the fire department, fraudulent credit card charges, poor management, customers feeling they were treated rudely by the manager, and an extreme decline in quality in the last year, charging more and offering less. It appears this business has undergone a change in ownership in the last few years, being purchased from its longtime owners. As returning and longtime customers, we (myself and my husband) feel that we have been disrespected and treated poorly. We hoped that we would be treated with more respect with an offer for a resolution due to this incident. We are reporting this Inn and its owners to the Department of Consumer Affairs and the California Department of Public Health. For your own health and well-being, we advise to stay away from Cottage Grove Inn.
Had never been here so this was an adventure! Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Lobby clean and inviting. Convenience to downtown and outlet stores spot on. Although the roundabout was a bit busy during commute time it quieted down substantially soon after 6 p.m. And even with the highway being fairly close by, the inside was quiet. The room was very clean, fresh, roomy, well appointed, comfortable with table to sit and eat indoors and also another out on your private patio. Fresh, soft robes provided. Deep tub in our room. Bed sooooo comfortable (hubby and I usually sleep separate due to loud snoring on his part but he was so comfy I heard nothing from him!). A/C worked well and was not too noisy at all. The only problem for me - and this is MY fault for not asking - was we were in a room next to the elevator. ACK!!! Were woken up at 4:15 a.m. and the loud 'Clunk!, Clunk!' continued throughout the morning. Bummer! Had I understood we were going to be sharing a wall with the lift, I would have asked for something different. Suggestion to management; luggage rack was rickety and needs a fix and it would be helpful to have the soap dispenser next to the sink instead of the lotion (merely a suggestion). We will recommend this establishment to our friends and neighbors and very much enjoyed our stay and thanks to all the friendly staff.
My husband and I wanted a relaxing vacation where we wouldn't feel quite like tourists and still experience a quiet break. The Inn is great. The breakfast is handmade and with good old-fashioned service. Dolly is the Manager but she serves in all capacities to make your stay comfortable. She was responsive and professional and would meet each request. We have traveled to quite a few places and this is a luxury that is refreshing to see is still practiced. We had a small fireplace in our room and when it rained all day we stayed in bed by the fire and cracked the window to have a bit of fresh cool air. our room was clean and comfy. we had secured locked doors that would open only with our code. fresh warm cookies at our choosing as well as a bottle of wine upon check-in. Dolly even recommended places to eat and a wine tour we should take and that too didn't disappoint. We left our stay feeling like we had a great visit with an old friend. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Napa. Thank you Dolly for making our stay one of the best birthday gifts I've received.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for four nights while we moved our adult child into her new apartment. This was after a five day road trip across the country. Convenient location right off the freeway. The staff was very friendly and professional- always welcomed us back and wished us well when we would leave for the day. The room was spotless, roomy, and very comfortable. Loved having a charging station on the nightstand! We had room service for dinner one night and it was delicious! There was a nice space for my husband to work some and the game room looked fun! We did not get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice too. Now that our child lives in Napa, we will not need a hotel in the area but if we ever do, we would absolutely stay here again!
GGuest UserAll the pictures showed a fireplace in the room, our didn’t have that, also didn’t care for the never cleaning room, understand with Covid, but we’re there 5 days and never got room cleaned. Had to ask for towels twice and go get them from front desk. There was no pool nor hot tub but claim hot is in room, very hard to fit two people in there.
GGuest UserGood value Hotel conveniently located near Napa Valley, got a two queen and a sofa bed room, not as $$$ as those hotels in the valley. Variety of foods available just next doors. Free Breakfast is similar to other Holiday Inn Express. Formed a queue during check-in but cleared up real soon.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for 4 nights. We were very pleased with the size of the room. Plenty of space to put all your stuff. There's even a small fridge and a microwave on a small countertop. There's a separate kitchen like sink in addition to the regular bathroom one. The bathroom vanity has plenty of counter space and is outside the actual bathroom. That makes for easier mornings of getting ready. A really good location to downtown Napa, which is a really nice town to walk around in, as well as a good area to get to all the wineries! The price for the area was really good. We would stay here again.
GGuest UserI have been staying at the Hotel Indigo for many years now during my weekend getaways to the valley. Not only is is consistently affordable, but it has always been EXTREMELY clean, well appointed, the rooms are huge and the beds and bedding are extremely comfortable and of top quality. They are also pet friendly which is a must for me as I almost always travel with my dogs. Recently I had to make a last minute cancellation as my dog got very ill and Mirasol, the manager was so gracious to work with me on a last minute cancellation and a rebooking. She was understanding of my situation and accommodating, rebooking me for a later date without a lot of hassle or a charge. I am not a more loyal patron than ever. Thank you Mirasol and thanks for being a very nice and affordable solution to staying in the valley Hotel Indigo.
GGuest UserThe Napa Valley Marriott Hotel is a large property located between the winery and downtown Napa! The hotel provides many privileges to travelers, such as gold card and above can enjoy a very good concierge lounge. The rooms are a bit dated but the lobby and bedding are top notch. The pool is a bit small and basic compared to other Marriotts I've stayed at. The concierge was very helpful and Jessia made it a great trip for us!
KKaycey SThe staff was friendly and helpful when it came to offering suggestions on where to visit for wine tasting and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. The walls are a little thin but thankfully nobody was loud. It was very clean and looked like it has recently been updated. The location was Everything!!! No car needed to get anywhere. The purpose of a hotel is to give you shelter when you’re not out and about. Who goes on vacation to stays in their hotel majority of their time anyways!!! Overall was pleased and find that the hotel is very underrated for the price and location.
The average price for hotels in Napa County is AED 2,075 on weekdays, and AED 2,652 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
