Overall a good place to stay on a short trip with a family ....room was clean ,staff was polite location was convenient and breakfeast was more than acceptable but the ownership unfortunately simply does not fix or put $ back into his business when needed The Gas Fire place in lobby which would have made a fairly nice lobby and breakfeast area even nicer and more inviting had some string lights throw in it instead of the faux fireplace......staff said there was a gas leak that couldnt be fixed which seems like a excuse to me being the place is relatively new . Again not a deal breaker until then the real line of bs came when we went to the pool area .... Big sign on the door saying sorry heat in pool area is out and needs to be fixed which wasnt terrible and could easily happen anywhere and could be fixed iam sure but once we went into the pool area we confirmed we simply had a business owner who likes to take money out but is clearly reluctant to put it back into his business ...The HOT TUB which is still currently advertised was there at a time until it was filled in and over with concrete ...yes not out of order temporarily filled in with concrete Now I know where iam staying and its reflected by the more than fair price advertised and I was happy with 85 % of the stay but come on .....cant fix a fireplace,no heat in the pool area and then the proof this wasnt a string of bad luck for the owner with getting repair guys to fix stuff when it breaks .....when a hot tub breaks in a hotel you fix it plain and simple and if you clearly were simply to cheap to make the repairs then at least also take down the evidence that there was one there in the first place Tile over it take down the signs and most definitely remove it off your advertisements please
GGuest UserThe hotel was extremely nice And very clean. We had a queen suite and it was very spacious with a separate bedroom, kitchen and living room area. The bed was very comfortable . We were able to sign into the Netflix app on the tv which was convenient. The shower head was solid with lots of water pressure. The area was nice and quiet. I would definitely book this hotel in the future when visiting the Utica area again. Downtown Utica is about 10 minutes away while downtown New Hartford is about 2-3 miles away which gives you access to many restaurants choices.
GGuest UserThis hotel does a decent job of delivering what you expect when staying at a Fairfield. The rooms are clean and sharp, everything looks fairly new, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning is just fine for a hotel buffet, though lacks the option range that some have and is not fully replenished throughout the service period. I appreciated that the TV in our room supported streaming (you can login to your Netflix service / etc) -- we used that. I wish that it was more common for a hotel like this to use actual reusable plates/silverware for the breakfast rather than everything throwaway. The breakfast was supposed to be available until 10am, but the staff started packing it up around 9:45. When my girlfriend tried to get breakfast around 9:50, the staff were able to bring a few things back out of the kitchen for her -- but really, if a breakfast will be packed up starting at 9:45, list that as the end time rather than 10am. Checkout time is noon. The housekeeping staff knocked first around 9am (while we were still in bed), then again around 10:30am to see if we had left yet so they could clean. Since we were not checked out of the room yet, this felt a bit like being rushed out. I always prefer it when the housekeeping crew either waits until checkout time or starts first on the rooms where guests have checked out early, so I'm not woken up. I understand that staffing shortages likely make this kind of coordination hard. These are minor issues in the scheme of things. Overall a solidly decent night and a hotel I wouldn't hesitate to stay at again if I was in the area, though probably wouldn't prioritize over other options either.
肖肖The hotel recommended by the customer is an old building that has been around for a hundred years. The location is in the heart of Utica town, from the train station, about 10 minutes. All aspects are good, after all, is the Hilton brand. The only thing I don't understand is that when booking, there are remarks to try to arrange rooms on high floors. The hotel seems to pay less attention to Ctrip's orders. Although the hotel occupancy rate is not high, the optional room should be a lot, but it is still arranged on the fourth floor, and the room is close to the road, it is noisy.
During my stay at the Hampton Inn Utica, I was truly impressed by the professionalism and respect shown by the staff. Isaac and Alisha demonstrated exceptional teamwork, ensuring that my needs were met promptly and with a smile. The cleanliness of the facilities, especially the bathrooms, was top-notch. It's rare to find such a dedicated and courteous team in the hospitality industry. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and well-managed stay. I'll definitely be returning!
LLostAngel77****DO NOT STAY HERE**** 1. At checkin the front desk woman was incredibly rude from the second I walked in. She finally asked me in an accusatory manner if I was sick (I am still masking). Once I assured her I was not, she warmed slightly but not much. 2. My room was in a building off to the side and it wasn’t very well lit. The door to get inside was only working intermittently with the room keys. It wasn’t just mine- the desk lady warned me at checkin that people had been reporting problems and I might have to go around to the back door (which was even more secluded). 3. The room was filthy top to bottom. 4. Around 3:30 am, a man started banging on my door while simultaneously trying to get in with a key. I had to yell through the door twice that he had the wrong room, and he finally moved on. I didn’t sleep any more after that. 5. At checkout, the (different) desk woman was not any better than the previous night. She had to be called in by a maid and I still had to wait several minutes for her to arrive. She never asked how my stay was, and could hardly complete the checkout process due to complaining to a male coworker about how she was so stressed out at having to make breakfast and manage the front desk at the same time. They commiserated that someone should be hired just to do breakfast.
FFootprints795993booked this hotel because it was midway to returning home. It was down a lane past a closed up building--another hotel nearby, we noticed was also boarded up. What was probably once a beautiful hotel, is no longer. I didn't feel totally safe in the surroundings. I do not like outdoor rooms which these were. Everything inside the room was, not so much dated as it was worn. there were threads hanging off the worn chair. One drawer barely opened. The bed sheets were questionable. At least the air conditioner worked and the tv. Didn't use the shower, but when tested water pressure seemed like it would be okay. There was a towel hanging off the back of the door-was it fresh or used...didn't check it to find out. There was no elevator to use. Staff were accommodating. Check in and check out quick.
