We were happy with our one week stay at Ayres. We chose this hotel for our Disney vacation. The property was clean, well maintained and had lots of parking spaces. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Our room was huge and had everything we needed except for a safe. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning as well. The people working at the restaurant were always friendly. There wasn't a lot of options for breakfast but that's ok coz it was just a bonus for us, we didn't really go there for the breakfast. We also tried the hotel's restaurant for dinner and we were satisfied with the food. There's also a lot of restaurants nearby so you have options if you want variety. We were on the 4th floor -- it was a little bit noisy as it was by the freeway so you can definitely hear the cars on the road but we just played some white noise to help us fall asleep and didn't bother us at all once we're actually asleep. All in all it was a great vacation for us!
I stayed 2 for watching MLB and sightseeing in California Disney. This time, it is convenient to travel by public transportation and the bus stop is right in front of you. The parking lot is also large, so I felt good for rental car users.
The hotel room is very large, with a pool and jacuzzi, so you can spend your time comfortably. I was satisfied with breakfast and fruits and yogurt. The welcome coffee service was also good. Also, all the staff are very friendly and greet you well. I want to use it again next time.
My friend lives in Orange City. For the sake of convenience, we choose a hotel around his home. All prices are similar, this is a good review. Facilities: Although it is an old hotel, the facilities are very new and the layout is very clean. The room we stayed in was a suite. The bed was really super comfortable. Service: The hotel staff are very nice, but I have been playing and not staying at the hotel for a long time. Hygiene: The whole is very clean, including the public restroom in the corner. Slag map

Stayed for two nights, about 25 minutes' drive from Disneyland. I didn't expect to see fireworks. It was so empty. The cookies provided by the hotel were delicious. The laundry room was far away and dark and thin. The machine was dirty and damaged. I finished drying some clothes. Smelly. There are fast food and Orange outlets nearby, but there is nothing to buy.

I needed a place to stay locally for a few nights and found this one at a reasonable price. Contrary to other reviews, my room was clean and comfortable. Had a little sitting room with a tv, and a separate bedroom, also with tv. The decor is dated, but it reminded me of the quaint little boutique hotels in Europe. The free wi-fi was reliable and parking was free. Convenient walking distance to local eateries. There was a mini-fridge and a microwave oven. Even though my room faced a busy street, the windows were good enough to mitigate the traffic noise. Free breakfast was less than satisfactory. Some cereal, instant oatmeal packets, Cup-a-Noodles, two loaves of bread and a toaster. I never felt unsafe. There was a homeless guy hanging out at the 7/11 across the street, but he was harmless.

I would give negative stars if I could. Our room was dirty. There was old pizza on a cardboard ”plate” in the microwave; Bacon on the carpet (I'm guessing a former pizza topping); White pieces of ”popcorn”on the carpet; An earring laying on the floor beside a chair; The rubber cover from an earbud; Hair on the pillow; and many, many mysterious carpet spots. Also, the window in the bathroom had no way to lock or secure it closed. We went and bought cleaning supplies and were going to tough it out. But when we returned, our key wouldn't work. Some how our key that was supposed to be for our room 105A opened 105. Unbeknownst to us, we went in and left our things in the wrong room. The manager/owner wouldn't allow us to use 105A (which was cleaner) because we had went into 105. And he was annoyed that we had been in 105-- like we had done something to make our key magically open the wrong room. After being treated so rudely by the manager/owner, I called my credit card company and we promptly left for a different motel.

DDorothyI had to request for my room to be cleaned when I first got there because there were crumbs of food on the floor and hair on the bed, but the good thing is when I called, they came to clean immediately and apologized.
HHUIVery good, convenient transportation and quiet environment, no noise, convenient to amusement park, Ole, Orange County. Room facilities are good, breakfast is good, parking is convenient, service attitude is good
FFred RNo problems. Was a little loud and didn't think guard cared to do anything about noise. Check in was easy as I arrived and staff had already ran my credit card so most paperwork was done. Several resturants close by so it was convenient to get something to eat.

EEmily DiblerThis was my first time staying in this hotel and I very much liked it. Having a kitchenette was wonderful but it was confusing having to pick up the utensils from the front desk but other than that it was a wonderful stay and I will definitely be staying here again my next trip to Disneyland
GGuest UserI've stayed at the Big A several times within the past two years often for extended stays. The managers and staff have always been very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They are always looking for, and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The Motel is generally quiet and peaceful. I work during the day and wake up early, so a good night sleep is a must. I sleep well and feel safe. My room is serviced daily, so after work I always return to a clean room and clean towels. If there are any issues they are dealt with promptly by the managers. I've no complaints, and I'm thankful for all the effort the staff and management take to make sure their guest stays are as pleasant as possible.
