GGuest UserDina is such a gem and makes you feel so welcome. We chose the Atanacia Room for direct pool access. Enjoyed a quiet night poolside with ample outdoor lighting. The pool and outside seating areas are beautifully maintained. A little backyard oasis -- located in a very nice Tucson neighborhood. The room itself was very clean with rustic charm and turquoise hues. Not exactly shiny or modern if that is your preference. I hope they freshen up the design/decor in that room a bit someday. Breakfast was perfect as were the baked goods available in the kitchen for guests to help themselves to whenever. Thank you for a special stay.

GGuest UserI heard a noise scratching in the mattress, that woke me up. I called to the front desk and the lady did come up right away. She heard the noise twice herself. I was moved to a king suite at 11:00 pm. I was checking out at 11:00 am the next morning. I asked the manager for one night of room comp while checking out. He said that I was moved to a king suite. That was only for a couple of hours. I didn't get the full benefits of the suite for several reasons. The nightstand in the bedroom didn't have a table lamp nor a ceiling light. The only light was from the main living room or the bathroom outside of the bedroom. I didn't turn the TV on because I had to get back to sleep to be up on time to pack and checkout. I asked did they find out what it was in the mattress? I was told no. Kind of strange you put the room out of services and found nothing. A staff member heard the same noise, hit the mattress and heard the noise again.

MMark WSo we check into Red Roof Inn Tucson at the Airport, the Superior King room with an office desk and king size bed. The young woman at the front desk was busy with her phone, and I could just damn-well wait until she’s done. Already, I’m having doubts. Get to the room, and the toilet doesn’t work. The plunger sitting next to it should have been a tip-off. I go to the office, and tell cupcake that the toilet in the room won’t flush. She actually asked me “What’s it doing?” I pointed out the part about won’t flush. So we switch rooms. I was told that there were no Superior King rooms left. Which, according to the website was a lie. The booking page said there were some left. We get moved to a Superior Double room but with two full size beds and a smaller desk. Fine? No. It’s not fine. Here’s the list of why: There’s no ‘do not disturb’ sign (we never have maid service), there’s no trash can of any kind, there’s no coffee maker (one of the things that denote a Superior Room), the fridge is unplugged (didn’t know that, warm left over chicken dinner), the microwave wasn’t plugged in, the clock wasn’t plugged in and the cord was in a wad on the bedside table, the light over the bed wasn’t plugged in, the plug strip next to the bed only half works (another Superior Room item), the room phone doesn't work, and the bedspreads on both beds has so many stains on it, including one that looks like blood, it’s holding enough DNA to keep a lab busy for a month. No way on Earth are we sleeping under or anywhere near that thing so I strip it off and toss it in a corner. I’m pretty sure it squirmed a little bit when it landed. Wanna guess what’s not on the bed? A blanket. It’s just a sheet. It’s a clean sheet and we don’t seem to have bedbugs so we’ve got that going for us… which is nice. We do travel with a fleece blanket so we at least had something. And we did get a Do Not Disturb sign after numerous calls to the desk. Today, when we got back to the room the do not disturb sign is gone, and 24 hours after being asked about the coffee pot, there still isn't one. And, the dude staying next to us is out on the walkway smoking…. In a 100% smoke free hotel. The designated smoking area is clearly too far for him to waddle. I considered calling the front desk, but the room phone doesn't work. And, she would have blown it off anyway---might have to put her phone down. So, we got to stay in a crap room. For both days. I coulda gone to Motel 6 and had a better room. So if you’re ever in Tucson, pass on the Red Roof Inn at the Airport. I’m going to pass on the Red Roof Inn no matter where I am.

GGuest UserWe had to get out of an apartment asap I am extremely allergic to mold and needed a place to stay for a week til we figured out what to do next. It was so nice there! The people who work there are lovely, I loved the staff, they really care and are genuinely good people and make you feel at ease and cared for. The rooms are clean and spacious, the pool and hot tub is clean, it is nice and quiet. I slept so good and got the rest I needed there! I highly recommend it!

The hotel is not far from the UA University. It takes about half an hour to walk and it takes less than 10 minutes by car. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, and the interior is nice. The front desk service is good and can help call the taxi. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, dinner but no lunch. In the hotels around UA, this hotel is good value for money!

AAnonymous UserWhen we arrived at 3 o’clock check-in, our room was not ready, we had to wait till 345 until we check in. And then service at the front desk was sparse, so you had to call to see if someone would answer and come to the front desk.

MMy_Profile_HereWhen I first arrived to the property, everything looked fine. I was only going to be in town for one day and really just needed a bed. I checked in around 1am and checked out by 8am and the staff was very courteous. When I arrived in my room, I looked out the window just to see if I could see my car. It turned out that I was on the other side of the building, but I did notice something strange. On the ground right outside my window were 3 large window screens. The only reasons I can think of for the removal of window screens are for repair or maintenance or for some type of sneaky entrance. I imagine that if the reason was maintenance, they would have been replaced rather than simply left on the ground. Anyway, after I finally got into bed and was trying to sleep, I had to get back up to close the bathroom door because the tub was leaking and, of course, in the dead of night, it echoes. The next night while at home, my back started itching. I lifted up my shirt and looked in the mirror to see my upper back covered with bites. I am praying I didn't bring home any bed bugs!! The price for the night was the cheapest I had found, but perhaps this is one of those times that you get what you pay for.

GGuest UserWonderful location near the airport. The room was very spacious and quite comfortable. The pool is heat year round and was very nice to have available. The on site restaurant breakfast buffet was decent enough for the price. Complimentary cookies upon check-in was also a nice touch. Locked myself out of the room and it was not a hassle to get back in. Also, grabbing sna KS from the self serve kiosk and billing them to the room before swimming was super convenient.

TTarvinSecurity is protective. Maintenance is on the ball and if something needs to be fixed they come and fix it right away. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and courteous and will help you with what we you need. If you need a quick cheap stay then this is it. If you want to stay longer then that can happen too but no it is not a extended stay, though for $280 will get you a weeks stay! It isn't the most fancy upper class it has caring and chill vibes.
