Great hospitality, had a wonderful experience staying there , staff was friendly. Best hotel in the area and will be going there again . Manager was friendly and upon request they respond very quickly
We spent one night at this hotel on a trip. The reception staff was very welcoming and answered our questions easily and pleasantly. We were in room 214 which is on the back of the hotel. We did not hear any noise from busy Route 17. There are two restaurant choices within safe walking distance and access to and from Route 287 was easy. The entire hotel was clean. It is either a new hotel or newly renovated as everything was up to date and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast includes hot options. I cannot think of ANYTHING to say that is negative about this hotel!
The room was dirty and smelly. Found a chik fila cup in my freezer from a previous guest. The toilet seat was not cleaned as there was a poop stain on the back of seat. The swimming pool was green. The breakfast was terrible, we got to the lobby at 9:10 for breakfast on a Sunday and nothing was restocked. The spot for bagels and muffins was empty. 3 pieces of toast left empty hot tray of who knows what very disappointed!! Had to ask for a fork and knife set as they were empty too! Do not stay here.
my family was there for a reunion. All arrangements and requests were ready when we arrived. However, the highlight of the stay ,was at breakfast in the morning 7/28,2024, when a most professional and joyest welcome was received by all coming down to eat.Shout outs to WAYNE!!! With the most enthusiastic smile and greeting!!! He welcomed us all with heart. I was captured by his warmth. The hotel is forntunate to have such an employee!!! Thank you WAYNE for being you.
The staff admits that this place needs a facelift for sure but Hilton doesn't have the time to close floors to do it. hmmm..... on the 3rd floor water pouring in from the ceiling so we were walking around buckets to get to our room. The pool is never open when we are here and not taken care of. overall dirty rooms dingy and need attention big time. I get that it needs remodeling (more than that) but then the prices should reflect it not more, less money. The staff is overall friendly, as we go there alot. The main issue for us is that Hilton has changed their pet policy which is a deal breaker for us. We are Hilton honors diamond members and have given our business to Hilton for years but this policy will make us change. They are taking carpets our of rooms because of pets relieving themselves and apparently anything goes, frankly we like pets. just do not want to sleep in a bed where dogs, cats and the like have ”stayed” People have pet allergies you know and it is not sanitary either. It is a pet first society, forget the humans that actually pay for things. When we were there we had to change rooms which was difficult because there were 2 German shepherd type breeds directly across the hall that kept up barking and carrying on. Again, we have nothing against dogs or cats etc., however when it is taking away from the pleasure and rest of paying patrons it is a big issue. Maybe a compromise Hilton and have a ”pet floor”. the staff tries to help as best they can.
We were very pleased with this hotel. Room was modern, spacious, clean, and with a good bed. Breakfast was very good. We would stay there again. Hotel staff helped us find a good restaurant nearby. Rt. 17 is a confusing highway because it is difficult to get from one side of the highway to the other. Except for that it is an excellent hotel.
This is a crappy hotel. I've stayed twice. The facility is aged and items are often broken or hard to use. My thermostat was broken and the A/C would not stop. The toilet handle was so hard to push down I sometimes had to remove the lid and flush by lifting the chain in the tank. I asked them to send maintenance, but they never came. Both times I stayed I was placed in a mobility enhanced room. The second time, doubting it was really the only available room, I asked if anything else was available. The desk clerk upgraded me to a suite, indicating that this was a major favor instead of what she was supposed to do for me as a Marriott Titanium member. The breakfast is abysmal. Limited options. They frequently run out and are slow to refill them. As others have mentioned, early check in via the app and Mobile key are not honored. Hotel options in the immediate area are limited, but this is one of the worst.
