"Overall a great urban hotel at which I’ve stayed a number of times. Despite not being a huge fan of the W brand (a bit too trendy as I age) the location and value are hard to beat. The service is friendly and attentive; the rooms are nicely appointed—I appreciate the Nespresso machine and decent toiletries. The restaurant has good, fresh food for breakfast and friendly and efficient service. On a stay last month I came down with Covid and ended up in my room for a week; the staff was very considerate about bringing deliveries and checking to make sure I had everything I needed. They would pack room service as “to-go” items but the food was still warm and tasty when it arrived, and with everything needed for a proper meal. "Recently had a fantastic 3 night stay at Stanford court. The staff and service was impeccable from the moment I arrived and I was able to check in an hour early. I was also, to my surprise, upgraded to a partial city view room. The room itself was huge with everything you would need and very clean. The big bed was super comfy. On my last night I ate in the bar/restaurant. I cannot recommend the burger highly enough. It was messy, but delicious!!! The location is perfect. It’s in a lovely area with lots of beautiful buildings and views down the crazy steep streets. Also the old style trolley car stops right by the hotel. All in all I highly recommend Stanford court."
