An apartment-like hotel contained kitchenwares including stoves, microwave oven, washing machine and utensils which are convenient for guests. Also, it’s closed to various supermarkets which are convenient for buying any commodities.
An improvement area included the cleanliness of the room (as I could find small flies around the toilets in my first 3 days).
The room is fully equipped with tableware, cooking stove, refrigerator, range hood, microwave oven, etc. It is quite suitable for self-catering.
The front desk service is also very good. I will come again if I have the chance. It is very good.

I didn't want to write this, but since the front desk and manager couldn't be bothered to help, here I am. We checked in to our first room, which had dirty sinks and bathtub, but, whatever. That happens, and it was Thanksgiving. Then we discovered that the AC/heater was leaking water and had saturated the carpet a foot and a half beyond the wall. My toddler's feet were soaked through his slippers. They brought in a repairman who said we needed to change rooms. So I packed up all of our things that I'd just put out, along with the baby proofing I'd done to all the outlets, and we moved one floor down. Then the nightmare really began. Upon entry, we were hit with a strong chemically perfumey smell and the smell of cigarettes. We all immediately got sore throats and itchy eyes. It reeked of cigarette smoke the entire 3 days, despite it being a ”100% smoke free floor.” The bathtub had no fixtures and had empty holes where plumbing would have been. Needless to say, it didn't work, and the whole reason I paid up for a room with a bathtub was so that I could give my toddler a bath. That didn't happen. Speaking of my toddler, he discovered that the window didn't latch and there was no screen. We caught him before he climbed up, but he could have easily fallen out the window. Also, I noticed blood on the sheets. When we checked out, the person working said there was nothing he could do since we booked through Capital One. We tried to talk to a manager but he was too busy to be bothered. Easily the worst hotel experience I've had in 20 years of travel.
I was visiting family over the weekend and decided to stay at the quality Inn based on the reviews I read. I don’t know who could be rating this a four or five star hotel. I usually stay at the Hampton or Hilton Garden Inn nearby on route 59. They are always in good shape and clean with friendly and helpful staff. This was not the case for Quality Inn. I chose it based on reviews and proximity to the highway. I stayed there many years ago and the hotel was fine, clean friendly staff then. However that was not the case this time. They appear to be under some renovation right now. That was not apparent when I made the reservation or I would’ve chosen differently. However the staff is not very welcoming not rude but not very caring. The smell of smoke in the rooms is unacceptable. This is supposed to be a smoke free hotel somebody was smoking and I smelled it in my room. The hallway on the second floor where I stayed was not vacuumed there were crumbs. I arrived at 4 o’clock in the afternoon you would expect the hotel to be clean and ready to accept visitors. From the outside you could see the window screens that were torn and not replaced on windows. I was very surprised at the overall run down appearance and unfortunately I did stay there even though it was my inclination to cancel my reservation and go to another hotel. In my room the only thing that was in good shape was the sink that appeared to be new and the entry floor. The bed looked like it needed to be replaced the shower was not particularly clean looking although it had been cleaned. The curtain that hangs on the window was falling off of the curtain track and had holes when the lights were off you could see at night through the tears. Although they were not large tears so I did not see them in the daylight. The mini refrigerator was clean. I was charged enough money for this hotel that to expect far better conditions.I would not recommend this hotel.
The exterior is standard Hampton Inn architecture, but just about everything about it inside does not live up to HI standards. As examples, the one elevator is slow and its interior door is heavily scratched; there were some funny smells in the hallway and in our room -- nothing obnoxious, but it not what you expect for Hampton; the bathroom had up-to-date HI fixtures, but as is noted in photos, there was obvious ceiling water damage above and mold showing in the shower enclosure below; and some sort of big plastic-wrapped mystery item was just sitting stored in a hallway by the ice machine. No one matter was a deal-breaker, but together, they diminished the quality and value one expects of Hampton Inns. Breakfast was standard and satisfactory, one of the few positive things I can say, but I do not plan to consider staying here again.
Checking in was cumbersome. The payment had been paid on Ctrip and a pre-authorization of $ 100 was received. Very helpless. No free internet is available, using the internet requires a single charge
Stayed at the hotel July 15 to July 17, 2022. First night I checked in went to my family event on Friday night, went back to my room key would not work went to front desk 3 times that night they finally contacted someone on maintenance to let me in. Second day went to brunch again after going back to room key would not work 2 more times to front desk and maintenance opens the door.Got dress for a BBQ at hotel and 2 hours later went back to my room to get rest before next event again key not working to get in room front desk person comes up to my room and can't open the door either. She tells me she will be back and never returns 20 minutes later I go down to find out what is going on and let her know she just left me waiting in hallway, she informs me she had to call maintenance to come repair the lock, after waiting in lobby for 2 hours maintenance shows up and can't open door either, said the front desk person gave him dead batteries, so he had to go to store for batteries. 2.5 hours later I get in room medicine and clothes were in room. Had 30 minutes to get dressed for a formal event which I was late. Later after event the key still doesn't work can't make this up smh. After all the waiting and not being able to get in room the only want to give me $50 off unacceptable. Do not stay at this hotel never again worst customer service ever!!!
Overall, it is not bad, the hotel is quiet and clean, the room is good and warm, the location is general, the surrounding is not convenient, the price is high, there is no problem with other things.
Our family had a big gathering of over 20 rooms at the Marriott Park Ridge. We absolutely loved the location, amenities, staff and dining. All of our family celebrations going forward will be here to create more memories! Thank you for a welcoming weekend.
