When I pulled up there was (I assume) a homeless person sitting out front to the left of the door and several other people (I am not sure if they were guests or not) hanging out around the front of the building. However, the front desk staff was amicable and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The room was clean, except for the curtains (something brown had been spilled on them). I would stay here again.

Pet friendly, amazing bar drinks, very friendly staff, in room coffee, very comfy beds, close parking, window lounge seat which was very fun. Tallahassee is not known for its hotels but Indigo goes above and beyond in every way! It feels like a small independent hotel and most definitely not a chain.

I stayed there 2 times this year during the Florida State House Session. The hotel is in a great location for everything. The staff was great as well. The GM Tony was great, The over night guy/Peter was great as always. A very funny guy he has a story for us every night. The rooms was clean and ready. I would have giving it a 5 star rating, But I ran into two things that need to be addressed. The lady That wears the mask was not heplful at all. I asked for a blanket and she made it a big deal. She came back without and was not caring at all. The day I was tryin to check out, I went to the counter and there was no one there. I stood there for about 5 to 7 minutes finally a young lady came over from the far left after tending to her kids, which I thought was very unprofessional to bring your small children to work... She came over and checked me out. Other then that my stay was great!!

I knew it might be an issue not having my ID for check in (I had left my wallet at home in Jacksonville) so I had called Holiday Inn earlier in the day to ask if a photo or FaceTime with my ID would be sufficient. The woman that answered the phone said yes at 12:19 on the day of check in. I then checked in at 7:15 and was told a physical ID was required due to corporate policy. I told them I had called to ask prior to arriving. Why would I just show up to the hotel without an ID in hand without asking first? The manager then insinuated that I lied about calling even after I showed him my call log on my phone, saying “there was no woman answering the phone at 12:19”. I am an out of town physician that works full time right across the street from the hotel. Did he really assume that I would be foolish enough to chance check in without asking about an ID requirement earlier in the day? Furthermore, had that employee been competent and told me the CORRECT answer earlier in the day, I could’ve booked a VRBO but instead had to scramble for lodging, all in between 12 hour ER shifts. All of their employees should be well versed in corporate policies. In addition, this manager should’ve responded with “I’m sorry I don’t know who that could have been but I will find out” but instead implied that I was lying. My friend just sold his house and I was going to start staying at this hotel 8-10 nights/month but this obviously has changed things.

I travel quite a bit for business and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Drinks are nice at the end of the day but what started each day during the week is breakfast. Tiara is one of the friendliest staff members I have come across in my travels. She works the breakfast shift. It’s obvious that she loves what she does and she doesn’t skip a beat with what needs to be done. The room cleanliness is not quite the standard I like to see which is why I didn’t give 5 stars.

I didn’t write a review when I went shame on me. Let’s say this place had a lasting effect when I think of Tallahassee. I walked in the reception desk, staff was super friendly check in was a breeze, hotel lobby is very chic, not what I expected at all, you take the mirrored elevator to your room, the room itself a bit small but really not here for square footage. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower really nice and as an added bonus can’t forget the roof top bar. The staff was ridiculously patient with me and most of all the best chocolate martini is made here!!!!!!!

The rooms were clean but the hardwood floors made it easy to track dirt and grime. It’s the first hotel I’ve been to where there wasn’t enough pillows or towels in the rooms. Bathroom was very clean. We were by the elevator but had no noise problems. When you walk in. It feels like an upbeat holiday inn. Based on the animals we saw in the lobby it is pet friendly. Check out time is 11 and they have a breakfast like a holiday inn express does. It wasn’t bad a experience but I probably won’t stay here again. Very thin bedsheets and the bed was very firms. Bath towels were thin. Housekeeping was very nice. There’s no pool but there is a pool table in the lobby. There were no bugs and no weird stains.

There was no hand bar soap, the travel bottles they give you look like they were not new and had not been replaced. I know for sure with the body wash.. it was empty and water came out. When I went to clean up the water with a washcloth there was makeup residue on it. Overall it was a good stay.. nothing can be perfect.

GGuest UserStayed three nights with our 2 teenage daughters in a two room suite with kitchen and living room. Overall, we were reasonably satisfied with our stay. It was nice to have two rooms and a separate living area. The room was pretty clean. There were a few little cleanliness issues here and there. Beds were not super comfortable. Pull out couch was also not comfortable. Kitchen was clean and appliances seemed newer. Bathroom/shower worked. Very average. Parking lot was littered with trash most of the time. Pool is small and appears always shaded. But seemed clean. Breakfast is well below average. Poorly stocked Cereal, microwaved breakfast sandwiches in a bag...just not good. Coffee was not bad, though. The lady working the breakfast seemed, uninspired. When asked for items or assistance she typically gave a one word answer or none at all. Front desk was more helpful. The man doing housekeeping was very nice and accommodating with towels. Overall, we didn't HATE it...but would look for another place to stay next time.

Due to a tree falling in our house we have been living at the ESA Tallahassee Killearn location for over 2 months now and I want to take a moment to tell everyone how great the staff has been. First of Sabrina is the main girl that cleans all the rooms and she does such a great job. We have two rooms because we wouldn’t fit in just one and our young adult son and his two teenage brothers stay in one and cleaning there room can be a challenge. She does also have another girl that helps her and I apologize I do not remember her name but she is a great help as well. I always am able to get fresh linens and towels from the girls along with anything else and if the see us they always have a big smile and say hi. Shanicia and David work the desk and are always very attentive and have smiles on there face. David has went beyond his job more than once to help us out and it has been very helpful. Managment Diana and Rich always have big smiles and asking if we need anything. If we have issues, which we really haven’t, they always attend to our needs right away. I feel like I may have forgot someone else and if I have know that I am thankful for you as well. All of the staff has made our away from home living situation easier and more bearable. There is coffee and hot water in the mornings along with granola bars or muffins so you can grab and go. They do also have packs of oatmeal and grits you can make. Along with tea and hot chocolate packets. The rooms are spacious and have a full kitchen in them. There is a pool that is always kept clean as well. The location is great because it is close to many restaurants and the interstate. There is a little workout room as well. We will be here another couple months and once we leave I would stay here again if needed.

We actually found a pepperoni under the desk and there were smudge marks of some sort on one of the blankets, but as soon as I asked the gentleman at the front desk if he could send somebody up to clean the room, he didn’t hesitate and when I came back, the room was absolutely clean

GGuest UserHad my flight cancelled and they gave us vouchers to stay here. The place was very nice and we had zero complaints with our stay. The room was big and nicely furnished with very nice and wholesome breakfast

GGuest UserI have been to this hotel many times over the last decade. It seems to have deteriorated a lot since my last visit, although for the price probably matches the quality. The rooms don't seem to be particularly clean, poorly maintained, bedding torn and faded, fridge door broken, there is no coffee making facility in the rooms. Coffee can be obtained from reception sometimes. There is no breakfast offered but there is a Denny's diner across the street. The hotel does have some laundry facility which is useful.

At least I was able to get a room relatively quickly and not expensive. I had an electrical fire and I couldn't stand the no power in the house due to the temperature. Shower was decent bed was okay though the curtains could definitely be better to help actually block out all the light and they should do something about the door since it has a good Gap underneath where there's plenty of light coming in.

GGuest UserWe arrived in the evening as a stop on our Big 2022 Road Trip. We were greeted by a friendly desk attendant in a non-air-conditioned lobby. We received our room cards and were instructed to ”park behind the partying contractors in the parking lot”. We let the ranchera music serenade us as we parked in a very busy lot for that late at night and proceeded past the picturesque courtyard and through the debris-strewn hallways to our room. We opened the ”experienced” door and saw a large room with a newer hardwood floor - but couldn't see much, as several light bulbs were broken or unplugged in the room and bath. Also, the AC was set at 61 degrees, but wasn't cooling at all - we removed the cover and saw that much of the AC mechanism was covered in crud and also iced up. We put a fan on the AC ice to melt it and see if it would work better and began to move in. Once Jose (a really nice maintenance man) brought bulbs and re-plugged some lights, we could see the walls were rather stained and the floor not exactly clean. The large flat-screen TV was good, but there was no remote. We went back to the front desk and asked for hand towels (none in the room) and a remote. We received a remote, but were told no towels at all were available in the evening. We settled in the warm and humid room and tried to relax, thankful that the walls did shut out all the festivities outside. But that's when we saw a small army of cockroaches swarm our bags on the table under the TV looking to share our snacks. We went to bed, but the AC never worked properly and we think the cockroaches stole some of our good cookies. We replenished our ice at the machine and went on our way. We wanted to speak with a manager, but after a somewhat long wait (behind other disgruntled customers) we were told one was not onsite and ”they'd take our comments”. Likes: friendly staff, nice courtyard, convenient location, good ice machine, reasonable price Dislikes: AC never worked (sweaty sleep isn't fun), very grubby room, light issues, insufficient towels, pool out of service, and those darn cockroaches

DDavid KThe motel staff was great. The few issues I had were quickly solved. The check in was quick and simple from the night window. At first the night window felt like its an unsafe area but everything was fine. My room was clean and the air conditioner worked well.
