4.4/5
Excellent
TTAOThis is a stop on my journey across the United States. Before check-in at night, I ate Pizza Hut in Tucumcari City where the hotel is located. The city is not big, not far from the hotel. There is a gas station in front of the hotel, and you can see Interstate 40, which is the main highway I use to cross the United States. The hotel facilities are well-formed, and this type of mid-range hotel chain in the United States feels little different. From the lobby to the room to breakfast, the similarity is high.
GGuest UserPros: Nice towels, Great free breakfast, Friendly helpful staff and Nice (hot) shower pressure.
Cons: 1st this is a MOTEL not a hotel 2nd: my room was in the back and was facing the highway. I had to put in my head phones and play calming music to drown out the noise 3rd the floors were 1990s ceramic tile, the beds were way too firm, the bed coverings thin and uncomfortable, and the sink area was outside of the enclosed shower and toilet. You get the idea. This was an outdated motel from the 80s or 90s. Maybe even older. I won’t be staying here again.
DDonniedon86A good location on route 66 and a welcomed stop. The receptionist was very polite, but pointed out the taps needed to drip all night in case they froze over. Also the bathroom light switch gave me a small shock every time. Decent sized bed and was clean too
YYashuWe booked this hotel at the very last minute. Price was fairly affordable and the services were great considering the price we paid. Staff were friendly and service was fast. I highly recommend this facility.
JJansenVery clean, quiet and nice room. Beds were comfy and so were the pillows, they were dog friendly which is great! People who work there were very friendly as well
SSAIThe breakfast was good and the room was large, although it was close to the highway but not noisy at all. The parking lot is large. The rooms are two floors, and the one in the north needs to walk from the outside to the front desk for breakfast.
GGuest UserLeft too early for food. Coffee wasn’t ready but took a couple of muffins. Very small dining area right in front of reception. Only white bread available. No fruit.
TTAOThe hotel is right next to the road. It is very convenient. The bathroom in the room is not equipped with sanitary products. The bathroom area is very small. There is no refrigerator and microwave oven, but the price is still cheap.
EEckerRight off the freeway and away from the main drag makes this motel a good stay for passing through to avoid summer tourism. It appears to have good amenities, but they were closed during our stay due to the virus. Comfortable beds, could use a deep clean.
The average price for hotels in Tucumcari is AED 379 on weekdays, and AED 389 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
